    LMMFAO! Great interview. This guy is GOLD! Had no idea an interview with this cat could be so entertaining while at the same time so informative. Definitely knows his business. Nearly crashed my damned car from laughing so hard during his story about Craig Sheffer. You can't make that shit up.
    A must have repeat guest if you can swing it Mr. H. Hella good work on your channel brother.

    Thanks! This was gold. Every minute. Great to hear Gary's views. I've yet to see Judgment but will.
    I've seen all of the Hellraisers including the average ones and the below average ones.. If anything, get back to the original ingredients and iterate on them. Use British actors again. Hellraiser needs a touch of class.

    Re. The Twins.......don’t we all !!! Great 3 parter; informative, interesting and exhibits the same passion for Hellraiser shared by dedicated fans. To anyone with $$$ & a love of the horror genre......give this chap Gary Tuncliffe the funds to make the film this brilliant Barker creation deserves.

    Fantastic content sir - Bravo! Now I want to see Enter Darkness as a direct sequel to Judgement. Where else would we find a humanised Pinhead but a mental institution? Studiously manipulating events to get back to the Outer Darkness...Judgement is certainly amongst my top 5 Hellraiser films - hang the naysayers!

    Hey Mr.H maybe you could do an interview with Doug Bradley. Would be cool to hear the other side of the story, and ask him about new Hellraiser movies ideas etc.

    • @Pingaheimer

      That would be excellent, but something tells me Doug doesn't really do things unless he gets paid, which is perfectly fine.... it is what it is.

  • @kevinedward6132

    I actually thought it was the female cop that came on board was going to be the killer, so I kinda got surprised. Especially with the Angel telling the cenobites to release the cop it just never entered my head that heaven would be corrupt, even though it's been done before in Constantine.
    I watched the hellraiser short as well (not related to judgement) and thought it was interesting, although it would have been so cool if Pinhead due to his boredom and hell not existing in real time, actually intervened to stop the end of humanity in a selfish anti-hero way to ensure his supply of souls...
    Love these videos Mr H really glad I found this channel :)

    Hey Mr H. Hope you are feeling a little better after earlier today. Don't blame you one bit for being pissed off. Cheers on this one as always pal. Don't let those idiots get to you. People are wise enough to see through them and it will only hurt Hollywood in the end. We are the consumer. If we stop consuming they are no more the way I see it. Honest guys like you will always gain more respect and following as people with intelligence recognise a person with a bit of integrity and objectivity.

    Always high expectations for the Hellraiser movies, although I've only see the first 2. I always hope they'll be amazing but always hear otherwise. I'm going to have to watch this one methinks.

      Thank you so much, was just me and Gary chatting tbh, I'm not expert on interviews but try and be as relaxed as possible and just allow the conversation to flow

    • @tawdryhepburn4686
      @tawdryhepburn4686 6 лет назад

      steferly no hate to Midnight Edge’s work, This one was just more interesting, even though it contained about 40% overlapping anecdotes I found Mr H got a more genuine response and dug deeper, so I didn’t mind hearing the same story twice.
      I like Midnight’s Edge’s more recent work. they’ve come a long way since building their brand on reposting emails stolen in the Sony hack and hating on the (objectively-terrible )Ghostbusters remake for misogynistic reasons.

    • @tawdryhepburn4686
      @tawdryhepburn4686 6 лет назад

      Mr H Reviews you were fair, insightful and honest. It takes a lot of poise to point out major flaws in an artists work to his face and still make him like you.

    • @tawdryhepburn4686
      @tawdryhepburn4686 6 лет назад

      MonkeyZorr Ghostbusters? The reporting on that film from MN was clearly gender-baiting. The fact that the finished film was objectively terrible doesn’t matter: they were attacking it for the wrong reasons. Fortunately, the channel has grown and developed since then.

    My critique of the film was I would have loved a bit more cenobites, and less cop stuff. I loved the Auditor Cenobite. My least favorite cenobite was the surgeon. I would have preferred if the Sin Eater was in corpse makeup looking more like a Deader. Over all this isn't a bad sequel compared to others. This may be my 5th favorite Hellraiser.

    I don't know why...
    But it really bothers me that Clive's cousin didn't return to play the female cenobite after the first movie.

    Like i posted under the Mr. H. Review of Judgment (sorrryyyyy) i didn't like the Movie very much (but i sure doesn't hate it like Revelations - i hate this one with a passion lol Even if i have trouble now with hating anything that Gary did because he is such a sweetheart, but well^^) but respect the effort he put in it! And i really loved the Detective, he is an awesome Actor and P.T. was absolutely fine as a new Pin Head (but please do something about his Chest, that wound looks everything but real). And very nice Interview overall, watched every Episode now XD Thank you!

    Good interview!
    If you pull the cenobites out of the first Hellraiser movie it still had a solid storyline, amazing acting and it was a dark gothic fairytale with an amazing score. If you pull the cenobites from Judgement it’s just a knockoff of the movie Se7en only Morgan Freeman is the serial killer John Doe. Not a very original or strong storyline.
    The cinematography was a little meh, but they only had a shoestring budget so I can’t really fault them on that. There are a few overhead shots that are lovely and imply that there are angels and god involved looking down at the characters so that was pretty cool. This film was definitely better than the garbage I’ve come to expect from Dimension films.
    I kinda thought the Pinhead design looked a little anatomically off with the exposed breastbone. It didn’t look recessed enough and made the actor appear bulkier than he really is. It reminded me of that scene in Waxwork II where Bruce Campbell’s character gets his chest sliced opened and his skin is peeled back in a diamond shaped wound that exposed his rib cage. It’s so cheesy and silly looking because it looks like they just stuck the prosthetic on his chest and yelled action, but in Waxwork II that’s what they were going for because it was a horror comedy.
    It’s a shame that the asylum idea was never worked on. I think that idea had potential. At the end of the Hellbound Heart novella Kirsty Cotton wonders about the possibilities of the existence of other boxes that opened doorways to different dimensions possibly even Heaven. That would’ve have been a nice introduction to angels instead of them randomly appearing in hell to demand that a serial killer scare people into going to church because of religion themed murders. It’s zealot killing in the name of the lord shit like that which makes people stop going to church.
    Tiffany from Hellraiser II, the girl who was obsessed with puzzles, is another character that never had any follow up and I could see her as a returning character in the asylum scenario.
    Speaking of boxes, how did the auditor hop so quickly and easily between hell and earth? Kirsty called and then sent the cenobites back with the box so how can the auditor and his group traverse dimensions so easily?
    Why is the auditor privy to info that Pinhead is not? He seems to have come up with the auditing process on his own and knew exactly how god would punish Pinhead before he was even punished.
