    Magic tip, the motion is like when little girls are skipping around, not the skipping rope skipping the other type, just do that backwards. That way you don't have to think about the shuv, it's automatic because of the direction of the hop off the back leg. Front foot off then back, skipping backwards. I swear front shuvs are the easiest trick going!

    I think jumping backward for front shove is not a good tips, because it will make landing too far backwards. The good way to front shove is thinking jump straight up, and the landing position is close to the original position before jumping. anyway good tuts, thx tom.

      Yeah I jump up, I’m trying to show a kid a video of how to do the trick and lot of them tips here are not what I would do.
      I’m no pro but I will say this is one of my go to tricks tho 😅😂

    Front shuvs feel so much better than back shuvs

      I know it feels like a different trick and takes so much more skill and timing. I can't get over this kid in a Dan Corrigan vid I saw recently tho, like 12 yrs old and a pretty chubby kid, and he just whips fs 360 shuvs like they're nothing, barely even jumps bc the board is so centered and the spin is so perfect. i wanna learn em like that kid lol

      no comply fs 180’s. i can do so many “harder” tricks but for whatever reason this one has never clicked with me, especially the leg weight transfer and board pressure aspects of it

    a problem i have with this trick is that it kinda does a pressure hardflip and its really annoying i keep landing primo and get mad shinners, is there any way to fix that problem?

    • @toms_tutorials
      @toms_tutorials  Год назад +3

      It sounds like you're putting too much pressure down on your back toes before you pop, since your board is flipping that way. Have you tried putting more weight down on your front toes? That should help keep your board more level. You could also try putting your back foot a little more onto the tail and less in that pocket.
