  • This is made after 2 years of suffer pushing up and down. Average of my lawn is 35 degrees. I did not know anything about this and even know something similar exist. I have just type in RUclips search mowing slopes and everything starts. All informations about equipment and needed stuff I discovered at RUclips. And RC Lawn Mower was born. I made mine simplest possible. I have bought 2 pairs of INVACARE wheel chair motors same models with same specs, 2x32amps SaberTooth control unit, two 12V deep cycle GEL batteries with 65Ah connected in series to give 24V and Turnigy remote control. I take a part my Husqvarna completely and left only the body and HONDA engine. I have find some small agricultural tyres and wheels and put all together. Sounds simple and it is. I have made this video on 13th of june 2019. and this is 3rd year of usage. Everything works as first day.
    Thanks to: RUclips and RUclips community

All that said who am I kidding, his tackles that incline like a damn pro, while I have to be strategic to make mine tackle my incline...and yes, I 100% agree he wins for that alone 🤣. He did a great job with his 👍🏽

      @@devenharris2332 No, it doesn't work like that. What could be interesting here would be indeed using GPS, like farmers do ;
      you manually drive the machine the first time, one mower width on the area you delimited, then it mows by itself inside the area.
      Then goes back to garage point.

    Well done! Might be easier to do now with an electric mower and tap into the mower battery instead of making mounts and adding batteries. Your design is great with batteries mounted for low center of gravity and good balance front to back.
    Have you tried putting a stake in the middle of the yard and attaching a rope to it and the front of the mower and as it goes it winds closer so you don't have to steer? Then just touch up the corners.
