That is an incredible looking knife that you used to slice the potatoes. Is it custom? Thanks for sharing. Oh, I also am inpressed how the two of you know just what to do to get the cabin heated and ready to live in for the weekend. I am looking forward to watching your other videos. Why not build a second roof to cater for the snow and.extend.atleast a metre outward.. also build foundation atleast a metre above ground.. where the second roof extends outwardly excavate land half a metre as well to cater for excess snowfall..also with stone foundation above ground level atleast half a metre..u can install the old type Korean ondol floor heating system.. works wonders..less cost..and also build a clay brick stove inside with brick chimney..like a fireplace chimney... another thing noticed that the chimney Run's straight outside..let it run in a coil system.. like car radiator.. more heat inside.then if there is a second floor then run the chimney to upstairs coil system.. Can put 2 or 3 coil system before chimney running outside... coil system depends on how big the room size is .. need to check which size coil is suitable and how much heat is passed through coil system.....very good system..coil can be installed on fire bricks to prevent fire.. like pizza oven heat resistant bricks for the back of coil system..

Why are you taking the snow off the roof? is really a good isolation.
It is good insulation but if it gets wet and heavy your roof can collapse.
