Reloading 350 Legend: The Good, The Bad…and The Worse Than Bad

I’m looking for some help when it comes to these Hammer Bullets in 350 Legend…let me know what y’all think. I can’t wait to smoke a deer with these cast bullets from @cwlongshot !!! Y’all have a good one!

Thanks for sharing, only time i had groups go that nutz all the sudden was when scope base came loose. Id say your gun just doesnt like that bullet

I’ve been working up a load with the Hammers in 350 legend. Looks like the nodes are real picky and far apart on this one. 26.5 grains H110 got me to about 0.8 MOA at 100 yards out of an 18 inch AR. 2644 FPS out of the muzzle. CCI450 magnum primers. Lil Gun gave me the best velocity, but like you said before the SDs are ridiculous. I guess I’ll have to try out some 300MP next time I take it to Skyline…

i have cast 125g 356 measure size lead alliance 2400 powder for rifle with lead and hs 6 for 9mm ps it 355 measure size & 38 special is hs 6 i used a old 4 in 357 barrel on dan Weston change barrel pistol i figure it my lead load test loading and use when ammo tight!

Going from lead to jacketed without cleaning is usually inadvisable. IME

I have been reloading for 40+years but my Winchester XPR shoots Winchester deer season 150gr 1 inch or a little better at 100yards. I can't reload any better. I still reload but not the 350. That being said, I have recently been reading about a Barnes bullet for the 350L that has peaked my interest. So who knows? LoL
