Thank you so much Tammy! I have a special memory of this song, it was playing when I arrived to my first boy/girl party in the 7th grade...spin the bottle anyone...😀So, this is what happened to Badfinger...in a nutshell their manager, Stan Polley stole their money. So even with these great hits, they were always broke. Pete Ham, the lead singer committed suicide in 1975, he named Stan Polley in his suicide note he left. His daughter, Petera was born one month after he died. Tom Evans committed suicide in 1983. Such a tragic story. 😢.
Wonderful song by a fantastic band. Pete Ham always wrote from his heart. He wrote this to a lady he had spent sometime with in the US, then had to head back to the UK, and got so tied up in his career he didn't write her. This song was meant as a bit of an apology. THANK YOU KAREN.. !!!
This was a great band that sadly did not last long due to many problems the band had with their management and other things. It's a shame because they had several big hits in the early '70's.
I am glad you enjoyed it my friend. I went out and "subscribed" to your YT channel by the way. Behind that mask I am sure there is a cute/sweet young man. I'm old and feel like I am missing something, what's up with the ski mask? I have seen several young people wearing them.
@@RockinReactionRollers Hi Tammy, the reason many young people wear masks like these is to look like a gangster. Me personally, I think it looks funny.
We have a 23 year old son who pretty much told me the same thing. LOL It makes me happy when I see young people like yourself enjoying music that we old folks love and grew up with. Glad you are here, and Keep On Rockin With Us. I hope I did not offend you with the mask question. I was just curious
Memories of cruising Pacific Coast Highway on a sunny day in the day. Beautiful times.

Yeah, I remember all that now that you say it. I know they were too good of a band for them to have to go thru all that. So sad!!
Great choice Karen - I'd always wondered who sang this. And thanks Tammy, as always.
Thank you!
Good reaction Tammy, and nice pick from Karen 👍
Thanks David!

@@RockinReactionRollers Non taken! I really love rock and roll and it's cool to talk to an old school person such as yourself.
I was wondering if anyone else had seen that Breaking Bad episode!
