Will look good, I would put a 540 SS Cam in it, upgrade the oil cooler and a heavy duty clutch, nice to see your putting on Wilbers suspension, this bike is so much lighter than the CVO ! I wanna see you get the front tyre off the ground !!
Appreciated It should come together nicely. They are a stack lighter than the CVO’s or at least feel that way. I’ll run with the standard 131 upgrade to start with as it comes with the SE517 cam anyway. Will be great to have the Wilbers back on board too. As for the front wheel I think it may just lift mate I noticed you lifted at one point with Vee on the back! Insane!! 👍💥

Congrats on the build! Picking up my SG St Friday 4/29, the sister to the RG. The lack of weight is noticeable, that is one of the reasons of going to SG. 28 pounds less weight than RG. And it's up front in the fairing and brackets. Are you planning on installing the CHIN Spoiler?? Definitely I will Be. Thanks for the Videos.

I have a Saddleman Stepup on my 21RG and have on backorder the Road Sofa for 2 up. Love them, so much nicer the standard seat. Also running the SE/Ohlins 13inch rear shocks, they have been a massive improvement and can't wait for the matching front inserts.

I’d love to do the same with everything except the Stage 4. Well at this stage.
Not sure if I’d go the Road Glide CVO, Venomous Green.
Or start with the ST and build up.
Hey Paul, appreciate you sharing your thoughts & support! Buying a CVO versus building is personal. If you find the CVO that’s perfect for you then it’s a much easier option that’s for sure. Hey Peter, appreciated the feedback mate. Yeah it’s the black/brown but does have a tan look to it. Here’s the link to my seat FYI… You could possibly stain it or leather polish darker if you wanted to.

it will be interesting to see if Dean gives a full price break down on List price of the bike and all the parts and labour to get "the look"
Wilber's has to be around $3000+ AUD.
Seriously, selling an expensive Harley that needs after market suspension so it rides OK is not really acceptable🤨

I wasn’t sure on the saddleman step up it felt a bit small for my arse, I went with a Lepera outcast 2up with removable backrest and gel insert and I love it.

What has been the best suspension that you've had on your bikes

Yeah I wasn’t sure at first but now I’m a little over the stretch bags the bottom extension is pretty useless and the new look is the old school bag with more clearance in the turns too 👍💥

As a 6 decade biker I love this channel, but although I watch all video's in full I like the rides and Dean commentary. I get how some like/love Harley's but as a Texan owner of numerous HD's said. Go out buy a mega bucks HD and then throw thousands more $$$$$$ at it to sort suspension, looks, performance, seating and lighting etc🤔
Interesting to see guy's with money who buy these Harleys daily drive cars!
Would it be acceptable to you to buy the X6 and then need to sort suspension and the same sort of Sh1t that's being done on the HD?
OK, you all say you want a "LOOK" , but you' all still end up with a slow HEAVY bike for mega $$$ that many out of the box bikes will P all over on the road or track as that expensive extra horsepower from Stage X tuning still needs to haul 100 + KG over most other bike brands standard sorted rides.
ps. I've ridden quite a few Harley's and they are the most uncomfortable back breaking bikes ever. Feet out is not good for many people.
Appreciate your words brother and you do make a lot of sense. What your saying is essentially not wrong at all.
There is something, however that HD have managed to do extremely well and that is create culture and a family. You see it’s not simply just the bike, the personalisation of a Harley is important for people to be able to make their own statement instead of riding a bike that’s exactly the same as everyone else’s.
I’ve owned many brands over the years and I can directly say there is no feeling like riding with a groups of friends & brothers on Harleys down the road… absolutely nothing comes close. (My opinion)
The choice of upgrades is not essential at all but more personal I think. They are a steel horse and you either love or hate that.
Your X6 example is correct and a fair one but after owning more than 10-12 BMW’s I’m still yet to find any feeling or culture. It is simply a product and that’s it.

@@FastnCurious what you say about the Harley family gig is kind of correct but HD rider's are also well known for blanking other non HD rider's which is quite sad.
Most serious HD rider's recommend binning the suspension as it's so poor and going Wilber's etc to make the bike comfy and handle well!
So how are HD getting away with selling Mega Bucks bikes with Sh 1t gear.
Just offer a basic bike setup 15k cheaper and let the customer spec the bike with suspension, pipes, seats etc.
No matter how good yours and other guys Harleys end up looking Harley are ripping the piss with their prices and builds.
You always come across as an honest to the point guy. So lets see the purchase price and the build and parts costs.
@@vacoasrebel6729 Yeah although personally I only started understand suspension when I was approached by Wilbers last year. I personally had never thought too much about it and was happy with the bike. Like most things I guess you don’t know what you don’t know…
