I know what u mean,insane!! The main level is 1 house,the basement is the 2nd house,the upper level is another house....soooo huge. How many kitchen do they have?? Question..is it necessary that all your house need to have a min of 2 kitchens? In the main floor and in the basement esp? Are you guys really use that down kitchen there to cook? Normally european house consist of min 3 level - main lvl,basement n upper level,bonus u will have the 3rd level. Coz im from the asian country,we dont have basement,normally just a double storey house. So i kinda wondered though, u guys really use the basement kitchen n the laundry?? I feel like,u can rent out the basement space for others as ur side income,hahaha. Coz everytime i watch this kind of vid,i feel like the basement is so huge that it looks like another house - a house in a house,got what i mean? The basement is so complete just like the main level. Are u guys in the european/american really have that big family?? We here sometimes 8 members of family cramp in a 3 bedrooms small apartment, coz we cannot afford such landed houses. It’s Canada. I’m 64 years old and I don’t know anyone who has a panic room. Maybe the ultra rich can afford such things. A panic room is an American concept. I live in The Greater Toronto area in a city of about 200,000. We have lived in our current house for 32 years. Never experienced any crime. Also we don’t own a gun. People in the rural areas on farms , up north and out west have firearms. It’s more protection against wild animals, not people. I don’t doubt there is a criminal element out there, who have illegal guns, in the bigger cities in Canada, but in the burgs we don’t hear much of it. Have a nice day and stay safe.

This house is beautiful but it doesn't make much sense with the two kitchens, living areas etc... and I'm also not a fan of the dark wood myself but the rooms are beautifully decorated!

I think I would have theatre in the basement, have kept most of the space as bedrooms for children. Can't see spreading young kids all over the place. First level only had the Master BR. Be ok once kids got older, they probably would think they were living on their own with this much space, an I don't like the idea of guest rooms on same level as children. But it's a beautiful home. Ideal for entertaining, or as he stated, multi generational living. But I don't know if I could handle that!

Beautiful home, just didn't like the kitchen on main level. Really, like one fourth of a wall between family room and kitchen, so you can have some kitchen cabinets. First floor may be open floor plan, but reminds me of a doll house. Could have put family room to the right, and kitchen to the left, with Butler pantry going to dining room. Still don't like having a dining room as you walk into the front door. But each his own!

As large as this house is the "Master Bedroom" could have been designed better and bigger. Hell the bathroom almost the same size of the bedroom itself
The first floor is awkwardly designed. Actually, the entire house is awkward. The colors and styles need to be updated as well. But that can easily be accomplished by the new owner.
