My moms from South Carolina and we grew up in Nor cal, this her favorite song, I love when she used to put this on at bbqs and block parties all the yuppie neighbors used to just stare and laugh at my honky momma but she didn’t care she was a real old school woman, love you mom miss you dearly!
Under-rated song. I thought this was a rare gem in this CD that never got any attention. When I first read the title of this song I thought oh geeze some dirty song...then I knew it came Loretta Lynn which meant a story to it so I listened and I was not let down. Great written and sang song. Too bad it was never used in a film.....yet!
This is the first time hearing this song for me, and you are 500% right, it came from Loretta which meant it was a story she wanted to tell...it is a greatly written song and only Loretta could sing this song. It SHOULD have been a single of this album because it would have earned her another Grammy, but trophy or no trophy, Loretta's songs are like the Diary of her life, and even after her stroke, she is STILL kicking and kicking it good, and who knows, this could be a great song in a movie about a "troubled marriage"...
THIS OLE BILL JONES I STILL LOV YA LORETTA - YOU ARE THE BEST NASHVILLE EVER SEEN AND THEY KNOW IT ! YOU ARE A SINGERS SINGER NOT JUST AN ENTERTAINER. SEY HEY TO PATSY AND PEGGY FOR ME. ANOTHER GREAT SONG - PLZ WRITE ONE FOR ME LORETTA ABOUT YOUR WILD BILL JONES - # 1 FAN ALWAYS LOV YA !
I just heard this song, the day of her passing. What a story telling woman. I thank God that Jack has his old soul and had such respect of her and for her. Most women of her era would be crotchety and harsh and angry. Man what a song, huh?
William Wade a brilliant song remind me of my mum and in mental institution because lost dad mom died in November 2003 and daddy and mommy's greatest compliment you from kindly regards William William wade 😭😭😭😭

Only an absolute legend could make a song about murder this intriguing and beautiful.
Jacks arrangements on this album are so inspiring.
She was a brilliant story teller and such a genuine person and stayed true to herself and her roots.
This is a part 2 to Fist City! IYKYK
Ladies and gentlemen...the First Lady of country music...Miss Loretta Lynn!
The Queen of country music
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Why isn't this album on Spotify?
It’s too good. Wouldn’t be fair on the other artists on there
She's always been fantastic and Jack White a genius.
Rest in peace Queen 👑 🕊️
I haven't heard this song since the album came out. I loved it then, I love it now.

Should be"Orange Is The New Black" themed song!
I would agree with you, this could be the theme song for "Orange is the New Black". And would make a beautiful theme song, for the show.
Gotta find this...what a band and deep feel!
Still, the 1st Lady of Country Music
WOW....Loretta is still awesome

Well, Nobody else can pull that SHEET off!!
What a voice I love Loretty
POWERFUL!!!
Bow down to the queen.
there's not much cheer in this track from her comeback album, but there is something uplifting in the grind of jack white's electric guitar.
Jojo stone ocean possible ending theme
ah another man of culture hoping to find obscure songs that could be Jojo EDs in a few years
Great song
Love her !
First time I ever heard this song and I love it! Sounds like me but I would off shot him!
I'd say this is the weirdest song on the album. Very morally ambiguous, compared to the rest of it.
