most things in gravity falls that surprisingly got passed the censors weren’t the adult jokes but rather a lot of disturbingly scary scenes
But also a few more adult jokes. I'm surprised they got away with some of it BSDHGB
But yeah mostly horrifying scenes.

dipper and mabel switched bodies in the puberty explanation scene so that’s why “dipper” was freaking out and didn’t sound like himself
i have all the episodes completely memorized so i feel comfortable saying this, none of it is a spoiler (at least not more than some of the clips you watched)

man, you have absolutely NO idea what gravity falls is like if you think it's a seemingly innocent show, hot damn.
with the giant letter H and letter R, the joke was just "what the H" like what the hell, and then he gets hit with an H. the R is because the air balloon is meant to say "I HEART KIDS" but the H and the R fall so instead it says "I EA T KIDS"
I wish the rest of the scene was shown. it was so good and very cinematic
yea i was honestly surprised it didnt. a giant floating head on fire saying it eats children is pretty appropriate for this kind of compilation

@@treeofrage7622 really?? i never got that impression. i always saw it as "i eat kids" being the main gag, thats why the h and r had to fall, and the h was used for an additional what the hell joke. i dont think alex hirsch would ever intentionally make that kind of joke

Someone probably already explained it, but the 'Letter Rip' scene was about a hot air balloon in the shape of Stans face saying "I HEART KIDS"
Meaning the H and R falling down turned it into "I _EA_T_KIDS", drifting off to later terrify dozens of people

Also, do you have plans to watch the rest of the series? It's one of my favorites and has a pretty solid fan base that are always looking for new reactors.

I would genuinely watch you doing a gravity falls reaction series, it seems like something you would like. Sidenote... it is NOT an innocent children's show... it gets DARK, literally and psychologically for 5he viewers and characters.
Not so fun fact: In the second clip Stan isn't talking about his own kids, Alex Hirsch confirmed he has none, in that scene he's repeating all the thing his father said to him as a child.
Hearing someone describe arguably the most viscerally disturbing series of my entire childhood as innocent is impressively funny to me. I assure you that most of the series has this kind of tone and some are literally just lovecraftian horror. For no reason. Weirdmagedon was really something.
I remember the convenience store episode being the first one to really mess me up. I had nightmares about that toucan for a week. Northwest Mansion also left an impact on my psyche, but I think by Weirdmagedon I was too desensitized.
The only episode I remember seeing as a kid (9-10 yrs old) was the one with the mini golf balls and it traumatized me because I was a kid of my little pony and that cute stuff😭🤣
There is one series that topped this one in terms of how desturbing it was, Courage the Cowardly Dog. I couldn't even finish two episodes of that show, it gave me the creeps.
We already knew about these jokes, that one of the reasons my mom didn't like me watching the show. None the less, Gravity Falls is one of the *best* Disney shows ever 👏🏼

I've read too many horrifying news articles cause I automatically assumed the drugs were inside the pugs...
And given that Stan has been to prison in three different countries (one of which we know to be Colombia) it's entirely possible (and probably likely) that he was involved in the actual drug trade as well before settling in Gravity Falls.

The funny think of that joke Stan told about marriage is that, if you didn’t notice, the man was holding a box behind his back. He was about to ask her to marry him. That’s why they rowed away so quickly.

The fact Stan invented a crime called “pug smuggling” is comedy gold
the dudes were oggling mabel because it was her own self created fantasy in her head. a huge chunk of the show is mabel getting crushes on guys and fantasising about the perfect boyfriend.
Stan has a hot air ballon shaped like his face that says “I heart kids”, but some letters fall off and it ends up saying “I eat kids” instead.

What Gravity Falls lacks in innuendos, it more than makes up for with oddly visceral body horror!

I know it's really late but it's actually because blood glows under black light and detectives on cop shows always use it to check traces of it in murder crime scenes
The joke was that Soos said “oh no a letter ripped” implying that the R ripped and Stan said “what the H” implying Stan asking was he talking about the H ripping off and not the R ripping off and also on top of that joke the balloon had I HEART KIDS on it but then it said I _EA_T KIDS on it
Gravity Falls is an amazing show, and it turns 10 years old today!

The reason Gravity Falls is one of the five pillars of modern animation is that Alex Hirsch understood something so many others at Disney fail to. Animation is a medium, not a genre.

There's a joke hidden in the background in an episode where Dipper's thoughts were projected onto a screen. The screen has random sentences flying around but for a few frames, you can see one of them was "No one will notice if I cross my legs."

Gumball is definitely more heavy on the adult jokes but gravity falls is definitely a more adult show deals with some very heavy themes and dark content I highly recommend it and there are some things in the show that very well may scar you for life lol
