@@NickHillMakesMusic Thanks for the fast Reply good to know you are blunt - the other day I heard a piece with a long piano intro on one of your vids, with some guitar sounds, and a percussian sound. Hi. I just found you and subscribed.. I am wanting to go direct FOH at small clubs and for playing at home and recording. So, I'm looking at the stomp and a couple other products. Is this thing limited in blocks? Not that it probably matters. Your vid here sounds really really good. I just need like 3 sounds or tones. Clean with some compression, edgeof break up, and a pretty high gain SLO or 5150 type tone and a boost and delay for solos. I'm assuming I could do this with just three switches? It would be nice to have scenes where I could jump around too. Will it allow all of this? Can you use a power amp and cab and also go direct? I mean does it have enough in's and outs?
It has a 5 block limit but there is talk it will be extended to 8 with the next update. I've used it to go to a Seymor Duncan PowerStage 170 that in turn powered a 2x12 so you can totally power a cab with this. There are also routing options to send the signal to FOH with the cab block on and still go to an amp and cab without it. Based on your needs, I'd think it'd be a great option.
Great and very helpful videos, Nick! Does the Badonk amp in this stomp sound the same as the one in the Helix LT & rack unit? Thanks a lot and happy holidays!
