    3:30 snow and ice is the best cause you bring them into the heated shop and they dont stop dripping till you're done cause it is just melting the whole time, the best tho is when you get a chunk of it down the back od your shirt.

  • @rompdude
    @rompdude 3 года назад +6

    I would suggest a small guard on the intercooler, the rope will wear through it very quickly if you end up pulling yourself regularly as the rope tends to not spool up nicely when winching in.

    • @ElkinsEric
      @ElkinsEric 3 года назад

      Just to add...
      Don’t ever hook the winch hook back to the winch rope or cable.
      Use a tree saver strap when winching to a tree/rock/root.
      And a winch line damper is also a must

    Couple of observations:
    1) If woody's crooked intercooler was crooked in the other direction, it would probably clear the free spool.
    2) Can't you clock the motor unit on the winch so that the free spool lever is more toward the front?

    Unless they're progressive rate springs the spring rate wont change and the lower spring perch will change the height but at the cost of less suspension travel.

    • @thebigmacd
      @thebigmacd 3 года назад +1

      Even on progressive springs preload doesn't change spring rate. At a given applied weight, a coil spring will compress to the same length regardless of preload. It just affects ride height and bump and droop travel.
