I am a Japanese/German woman married to an Indian man I only knew my German side. My mom's husband was Scottish/Cherokee and I thought (we all thought) he was my dad. Took a DNA test and I am 49.9 Japanese. Kinda fishy she worked as a nurse with a Japanese doctor in 1987 and I was born in 1988. 😅
Anyway, I have supported my husband through his bachelor's and he's almost done with his master's now. His family likes me and we get along great. His mom and I are close. We are both teachers and love to paint. I am lucky his parents are open minded and gave me a chance. My family accepted him with open arms too. Guess we are lucky to live in this time.

You have heard east and south east asian women frequently say I don't hate Asian guys cause they look like my brother. But when minority men date white girls minority women accuse them of self hate for not dating a women of their own race. But the main reason is jealousy most minority women are quite jealous of white women.

Usually these ignorant non-white individuals with white partners tend to think of themselves as being upgraded because their perspective is from a place of insecurity, combined with their inferiority complex.
They then condemn their own kind directly/indirectly...whereby they always find fault in their own kind regardless of the situation...hence the hate for themselves.
This is not always true of non-white folks with white partners, but a small minority of these kind of people exist. However because some non-white groups don't like to see their kind with white folks, they just assume the "self-hating" stereotype.
