What a great set:-). I have turned 50 today and now I am celebrating with 7 Seconds...still listening to them for like...since 1988 and still bouncing around to their music in my living room and yes I am smiling while I do. Thanks to their music and lyrics I think I grew up to be a more aware human being. I'm gonna stay young ´til I die:-)!!!
This is incredible. So grateful for the kids that were into filming shows back in the day.
Cell Phones were so big in those days, whoever filmed this must have had arms of steel to hold their phone that long....
@@trefwoordpunk2225I used to be there rocking the big duck off brick phone with crt screen, it was like carrying a fish tank!’ Kids today eh?!…..
This band helped to make me the father, husband, and teacher I am today.
I was there! Black haired skinhead girl left rear. We toured around with them on this tour
I have been a fan of 7 Seconds for 946080000 seconds
I have done the thing that the band was named after 15,000 times 😂
This show was 5 minutes from my house. So mad I missed it on account of being 8 years old at the time…
goddamn, the 80's were so fucking cool. god bless all you kids.

In 2022 they are still playing the majority of these songs
7 seconds changed my life. I was raised Raisist and I hung out with kids four years older than me that were in gangs , i was 10 when I was hanging with 14 15 year Olds. I thought that was the it was. I bought skin heads brains and guts at 14 years old, and was the first time I heard the term the song racism sucks, it was so forien, but in the back of brain I knew to hate was wrong, after hearing 7 seconds I didn't feel alone or like a pussy which is what my crowed would have called me
They were my fav band in 1985. Never got to see them live until the 2000s, but it was still great show.
Two things I notice. The kid knew to hold the camera steady which is amazing. Second, the Corrosion of Conformity tshirt from this show. Iconic
Yes this is freaking mind blowing. Still love 7 Seconds at 48. Incredible footage.
Me too at 52
@@petarticinovic2710 me 58
first album still iconic. I still can play all their songs on my guitar from that album, and gives me very well feel...
HAPPY!!! (like 1st album minor threat) greetz from amsterdam
Me too at 48 ...i was part of a drug alcohol abuse kind of crew.Depresed and tired .im not straigth Edge but this band was an excelent influence in my life
im 50 and for 35 years I forgot about the name...never the voice and the songs.. but a few minutes ago I was watching a the cure concert and A Song name 7 secons came out and boom! everything came back to me. I use to skateboard the hell out listening to these band
Absolutely fucking monumental!! Hardcore history right here!!
Partying in Reno and skating in Tahoe city… we were pretty lucky to be alive back then. So many good times we’re had rocking out to this band and a few others, plus those who passed thru. What a life.
50 years old and it still hits me after all these years
One of the best bands ever. SLC shows in the 80's were fuckin huge.
Great show! I have the masterpiece in a old beta!
Find a way to get it on UT
Old school Master, my génération with my 54years old.. find. Great.
His stage presence and audience engagement have always been excellent.
those were the days that I remember fondly. I just graduated from HS and was all mixed up but things were starting to get clearer. I made it and am here today to prove it can be done. I dropped out of HS in '84 and returned to make myself and my Mother proud of me. Thank You, 7 Seconds. big fan for lots of years and still a fan after more than 40yrs. I wanna stay young till I die..and I am doing just that.
Killer show! Thanks a lot for the uploading! Young 'Til I Die!👊😎!
I'm from Northern Virginia. Wish there were still shows like this! I wasn't even 10 yet in 85 but I did get to see 7 Seconds at Camp Punkslvania this year. Nice dudes to this day.
My Youth
The quality on this is amazing! Thanks for uploading it.
This is punk rock history at its best. I would bet my left nut that a certain favorite son of DC and Springfield, VA was in the room that night, the seeds of greatness already germinating in him. Thank you for posting this. All the memories, all the feels.
Yes, he was! In fact, he played that show... filling in with the band I was in at the time, Kids For Cash.
@@habibion 🤘🥰🤘
Also…Whew! I get to keep my left nut! 🤣
@joshmorningstar7062 Is this a serious question? Because if so, no offense but you really need to get out more. Hint: Google "punk rock Springfield Virginia 1980s." And if you're still wondering who that is, then you REALLY need to get out more. 😉
@joshmorningstar7062 If your driver rolls up in a DMC Delorean, you might be in luck. And watch that re-entry. It's a little bumpy.
Dave Grohl?
Awesome positive youth movement in the DC Dischord out skirts
This made me very happy to watch
Best band to ever come out of Reno.🤙🤙
what if you include all of u. s. and puerto rico
A great moment in time, this is historical gold! 7 Seconds forever 👊🏻🔥
So cool to see videos like this appear now and then when those who were there get a chance to upload them. Theres lots of photos out there yet to be seen too. Great time, great movement, great fun
so much to love about this, so positive..and that coc shirt is pretty awesome as well
Great tape
Ningún desprecio por la más radiante juventud... Esto es hardcore!!
Waiting for this half my life
This is great.
Yes to this!
Damn, Kevin was such a hippie! I love it!
Was?
Many thanks for this Gem!!!
Killer show!!!! Hell yeah!

Great video Sohrab! Killer footage!
THIS FOOTAGE IS AMAZING!!!!!
I can't believe you have this.
What a gem! Great footage!
This is Gold!!! Thanks a Million for uploading!!
Absolutely amazing! I wish I was there.
Show happened the first month of my senior year in high school - and they don't look any older than I did then! Kevin's about 24 here though, I guess - born in 1961 I think.
Wow this is amazing
That was a fantastic show. Enjoyed seeing old friends from LBSS. Thanks for posting!
all ages show! amazing!
This is sooooooooooooo good! Thx!
Thanks for your work. It is great.
Thank you for the upload!
When they were still great
Thank you!
That cracked crash cymbal sounds awesome
If you've never heard the dischord band Scream check them out. the sonic similarities to 7 seconds are astounding
Very familiar with both bands and have to agree to disagree on this point.
I would say you're both right. Stylistically, in very specific hardcore terms, they are quite different. But similar in having clean vocals, a melodic sound, and a more "positive" vibe, certainly more with seven seconds, but scream was far from nihilistic. As a matter of fact, I used to have The Crew, Still Screaming, and the first Uniform Choice albums on a "summer" mix tape. And yes, I've been listening to all of them since the 80s. And now I think I need a new version of that tape! This shit holds up.
That COC shirt is real nice
👊🏻💙KILLER FUCKIN BAND
I opened for them and PORKFOOT.
We're Gonna Fight Whoahoahoa!
Looks like they’re playing yo the cast of Fast times at Ridgemont High and shit
This easily reminds me of Saturday/Sunday afternoon matinees at CBGB’s in NYC! I’m grateful for the quality footage here ‘cos this was a seminal period in conscious youth counterculture as well as hi-octane music unto itself. ✊🏼🥁🛹
Who was playing guitar and drums on this night?
Daniel Laruso sung in a band on the side? Who knew ....
hardcore punk at its best
7 seconds and the Misfits... the only 2 bands that do way too many "Woah-oh-oh's" but somehow it doesn't annoy me. I usually despise anything resembling a "whoa-oh", an "oi", a "yeah-yeah", even a "wha-choa" (or whatever the hell Greg Graffin is mumbling about)
My preference would be to append that list so it includes Naked Raygun.
The "wha-choa" killed me. lol
@@KipCount I'm just happy to see that at least 2 other people knew what I was referring to! I'm not even sure what song it's from, but I think it's entropy
@@KipCount this is actually gonna drive me nuts, so I'll try to find out what it's from... I'm pretty sure it's from against the grain, so I have to go listen to it and report back
I’m pretty sure the wha-Choa is in more than one song. I always felt like it was a graffinish way of saying “watch out”. Maybe? Maybe not.
This video should be in the Smithsonian.

Who’s on drums? Certainly not Troy!! Atleast doesn’t look like him
It was Troy...pre dreads.
Belvy was the drummer I believe. He filled in some that year.
@@JohnD72277think your correct!!
The good old days of slam dancing and people actually watching the band rather than "dance" like morons.
