    To prepare salted cod for eating first you must soak it in water, the boil it, drain it , if it is still too salt boil again, only about 7 minutes, drain then remove any bone you can, saute some onions add cod fish, cook ten minutes and it's ready to eat

    • @ChrissieP106
      @ChrissieP106 2 года назад +4

      It's probably from all the debris from the fish. That's why they keep putting it in different water to make sure the fish is clean.

    • @billzjr222

    • @Akeem_768
      @Akeem_768 Год назад +1

      First you have to boil it to get a most of the salt out, the salt is mainly a preservative. We eat this a lot in the Caribbean. After you boil most of the salt out you pick it apart to get the bones out, then in another pot you saute onions, garlic, peepers, tomatoes etc then add the shredded salted fish in it & let it simmer. It's absolutely delicious
