Thank you for this video.. it helped alot However at 2.22 you mentioned that the ionic bonds only form between charged R groups. But in the AQA biology text book it says that the ionic bonds are formed between the carboxyl and amino groups. Im really confused plzz help mee out
Peptide bonds are formed between carboxyl and amino groups, which joins amnio acids together. Ionic bonds are formed between the R groups, which create the tertiary structure.
