Who was it n board.. .
One simple and silly question: Why the black box you have found is not black? Why you call it as "Black box" not "Orange box"?
It's a hold over name. The original recorders and the like were literally in black boxes. By the time they were required on all commercial aircraft the name was in common use and so it stayed. It's like why problems with electronic equipment are called "bugs". When an early piece was being demonstrated it failed due to an insect inside shorting the circuit. So the repair report said that there "was a bug in the system" and the name stuck. English is a funny language like that.
@@JohnJ469 Thank you very much for your answer. It’s quite impressive!

I can't help but to think why the pilots weren't able to pull up the plane. Either the controls are jammed, or during the first vertical plunge, the pilots could've been knocked out.
Why is the Black Box orange?
So searchers can see it
My heartiest sympathy and sorrow go to the victims’ families.. I am horrified to hear this tragic accident which undoubtedly open many perceptions. Rest assured with the retrieved ‘Orange’ box - Boeing will work with China Eastern to find the root cause of the nosedive plunge of the aircraft. Whether this has any bearing to 737-800 Max fault/incident is everyone guess for now..
I don’t get why in 2022 were still using outdated blackboxes. Why don’t planes transmit all this data in real time to the cloud and store it there for immediate investigations and only use the blackbox as a backup.
I heard from someone that it might lead to cyberattack if you upload real time data from airplane
@@Anonymous-uz4ub mmm makes sense
@@Anonymous-uz4ub How could it be prone to cyber attack when it's just transmitting and not receiving any data? Plane are already transmitting their altitude and location to flight trackers. Not hard to transmit other data as well.
It could be tampered with and falsified at this date and time. Someday maybe.
Nothing on the cloud is secured. If you believe that your "encrypted" data on the cloud is private, then you really should get a 2nd opinion.
What does it feel like to die that kind of tragedy..... I'm scared.
U should try
how did even the 3 pilots survived? there are 132 passengers died.
Guys, they pinpointed the exact location of MH370. Apparently the pilot was politically involved and had held the passengers hostage. the Malaysian government also knew about it and thus they initially gave everyone the wrong location to South China Sea on purpose until the main satellite picked up OTHER DIRECTION; so they had to gradually give in to that fact. There was also a holding pattern(circling) for 22 MINUTES in Malaysian airspace; possibly for negotiation before deciding to fly straight south and crashing.
i really hope they can find an answer to this as well as this path is really out of the ordinary

With the fast wireless communication technology these days, why don't aircraft manufacturers fit devices to constantly stream all the data that CVR's and FDR's store to some data collection point on the ground?
I thought black box is black color. Hope this recorder can find out the reason of this crash

Yes I saw it too when you slow down the actual footage it had smoke coming out before the crash but not sure where it started
China should use more of its home made aeroplanes instead of usa made 737 which have so many fatal accidents.....
should this be red/orange box?
Is anyone else also confused why the "black box" is not black?
It’s orange to be seen more easily
@@JayJayAviation Should just call it an "orange box" then...
@@yerri5567 The term "black box" was a World War II British phrase, originating with the development of radio, radar, and electronic navigational aids in British and Allied combat aircraft. These often-secret electronic devices were literally encased in non-reflective black boxes or housings, hence the name "black box".
Finally! After the crash, this is the moment, I have been waiting for
There are 2 black boxes . One records flight data and the other records conversations between pilots . They are not sure which one they found yet .
Who cares
I don't understand why, in 2022, the 'black box' isn't in the 'cloud'.
Because of cost. There's no incentive to do so. It would require lots of satellite data traffic, maintenance, etc. Airplane crashes are very rare and when they do crash, most of the time black boxes are found.
Lol that's not a black box that's an orange cylinder.
Rest in peace 😭😥
We know dashcam is necessary in a car.
But..is it possible to apply cctv/camera thing in a plane?
So it'll record every single moment inside & outside the plane.
Then we don't need to wait for the buried or missing or drowning blackbox to solve the problem.
Don't know exactly.
Wish the dashcam thing to happen.
Dash am isn’t necessary in a car, most cars don’t have them.
There's one major flaw with your idea and it's exactly why this hasn't already been done......
*A camera would be completely annihilated in a crash*
there is no way a cctv video data will survive a plane crash. only blackbox which contain a "data" can survive the impact. that is why there is a months long investigation to recall everything in blackbox. smh
Still not possible. There are cameras but that is just for cockpit videos like Justplanes, etc.
Plus, it will be destroyed in like these crashes. Not only these crashes but every accidents.
Wouldn't the footage from the dashcam/cctv/camera be recorded onto the Black Box...?
It’s amazing that they found wreckage and the black box so quickly yet when flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania on 911 nothing was found that aircraft.
Flight 93 was a lot higher and hit the ground alot more harder so it’s pretty hard for anything to make it out of that crash site
I don't know how you got that incorrect information about flight 93 but both flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder were found.

Might have been a decompression event for the plane to drop 7000km in altitude within minutes. It will knock anyone out due to the change in atmospheric pressure, including the flight crew.
Planes fly around 10km above the ground, not 7000km.

Yes! Not only was there a massive deployment of search and rescue teams. China grounded all flights from the same plane model right after the incident occurred just in case. They didn't want it to be another story of the Boeing max plane that kept nose diving into the ground
@Arabic Reja They did find it in a couple of hours though, at the mountainside, in the dark, and did you see the 'black box' its the size of a can of beans, its small, I say even if 6k people (which I doubt) were to find it in a week it'll still be impressive. The US Boeing expert should be able to handle the black box
Always the manufacturer technicians are the only ones able to successfully recover the data. If the CCP don't let them...
They are the last lot I would trust, they'd likely cover it up as they did with the other Boeing crashes. Anything to trash and blame the pilot while saving Boeings reputation.
@@MayYourGodGoWithYou proof?
@@cap7156 737 Max, USA busily blamed pilot error for every crash that happened claiming they were incompetent, badly trained, incapable of flying safely, countries must have had dodgy maintenance, until it came out that Boeing KNEW there was a problem, KNEW extra training was needed, KNEW about all this and STILL kept quiet and blamed the innocent pilots, destroying THEIR reputations just to keep their own reputation. And worse, they were aided and abetted by the US federal aviation lot because Boeing are a seppo company. If it had been Airbus they would have been jumping up and down screaming loudly about cover-ups and corruption. But because it was Boeing and seppo land it barely made a fuss. If it turned out to be something similar - and allegedly there have been 4 crashes in the last 2 years with this plane which, if true, doesn't inspire confidence - then Boeing would be the first to initiate a cover-up again while blaming anything or anyone else except themselves.
@@MayYourGodGoWithYou bro cmon now maintanance are done by the airline itself. Every aviation person knows that the 737 is the most basic and best aircraft. What youre refering about boeing problem is the max 8, yes it has problems which they denied it at first but they has confess that the model has a problem. Stuff like this happen because of the plane is very unlikely, common factors that might happen is probably because of the pilot or hijacked. If u dont believe me u can ask a aviation expert.
Does China's crash investigation agency have the technical expertise to open and salvage
the data on that recorder? If not, they will have to send it to another country, perhaps France,
to have that work done.
Wont send it to france because it’s a boeing airplane, if they need to send out, it would be sending to the US

RIP, I think airlines should change the planes to only four engines plane. Much safer than normal plane with two engines.
/ Although they(experts) say both are safe, but that's just for the business to go on.
I heard 4 engines would end up spiking fuel consumption, leading to inefficiency. Not many planes still use 4 engines nowadays.
It’s an idiotic idea because putting four engine on a plane with weight it down even more especially when you have to passengers, luggage and cargo. Having four engine would mean more fuel are going to be needed. More fuel means the cost of more fuel is going be pass down to the customers.
