• Gary Moore - Wild Fron...
R.I.P. Gary Moore
When he’s singing «…i remember a friend of mine, so sad now that he’s gone» he’s referring to Phil Lynott, who died the year before this came out. A Black Rose even glides across the screen to make the point. Black Rose (1979) was the only full Thin Lizzy album they did together. A little inside for you there😉
From what i've been reading Gary's original idea for this song was the next duet with him and Phil. As we all know Phil passed away in January 1986 so Gary added "i remember an old friend of mine so sad that now he's gone...".
@@danielolson5378 Phill was supposed to sing the softer verse,👍
Gary was the shit! His lesser know pre-blues stuff is awesome.
Gary was a fellow country man of mine from Belfast and he's addressing the Northern Ireland troubles which were just awful
I played wild frontier so many times in my house everyday back in 87 when the album came out my family still remember it to this day.Underrated artist Gary was, RIP Gary.Sure you and Phil are still having a blast in heaven.
Once again, great reaction. Gary's back catalogue is so underappreciated. Legend deeply missed. - Dei.
Still remember the album and the concert. He's been a beast live and I think every song doubled in time because of extended solos. The album was played a lot with my friends. Topic wise the song is about the Troubles in Northern Ireland where he comes from. Thanks for reminding me putting the old vinyls again on my player ;)
Great song from a great album with the same title. The black rose coming down the screen in the last verse (as well as the lyrics themselves) is a reference to Phil Lynott who died the previous year.
Way to make me feel old guys..... "back to the 80s".......I saw Gary several times live in the 80s and he was one of the best guitarists I have ever seen on stage. Absolutely immense. RIP Gary (and Phil).
The guitar solo is insane! RIP Gary Moore.
End of the World, Victims of the Future, Empty Room. Any of these live will blow your minds.
Still my number one guitar hero ever. Try The Loner and Victims of the future.
also the tour with greg lake , try nuclear attack and his live version with greg lake of 21st century schizoid man and the court of the crimson king
Gary Moore is a legend. This is so good.
Dude you loved that…..you were getting emotional…as anyone should when they listen to Gary🙏
R i p Gary more 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎶
Greetings from Germany...great Songs and great Videos. No doubt..but, honestly, ...Gary has to be watched/heard live on stage. But i'm glad that anyone reacts to him. So underrated, a shame...R.I.P Gary...and thanks, Wolfhuntertz,....(.and more 'Maiden live', pleaseee, pleassee).
If you hear the track Black Rose from the 1979 Thin Lizzy album of the same name you won't be disappointed. It features Gary Moore when he had a stint with Thin Lizzy !
Empty rooms and the loner live in Stockholm. Amazing.
This album became a huge success and it's his most or basically only Celtic influenced one. Despite the success Gary wasn't completely pleased with it cause he felt he didn't let the guitar hero in him get enough space so to speak. A sidenote here is there's actually no live drums here but a drum machine! Now check out Blood of Emeralds!!
He was born in Belfast, so was commented on the Ulster troubles.
here's one for you to have a look at, gary brooker, a whiter shade of pale, from 2006, in denmark, you will love his voice,
You can really hear his influence on Miyako when you listen to certain Lovebites songs, such as Epilogue and Edge Of The World.
Or even more her solo in "break the wall".
Such a legend, such a shredder on that guitar,in my top 5 guitarists of all time...but Hey,isn't JJs hair a wig ? Haha, good to see he's been doing some reactions lately too.
He is such a great story teller. Some are actually based on true events like murder in the skies and end of the world
Also check out friday on my mind.... and all messed up from run for cover album
Good stuff guys, Gary is a favourite for shure:)) Check out "Cold hearted", "The loner", "King of the blues", "Victims of the future" by him too. And his whole catalogue :))
end of the world live
Check out over the hills and far away great rock track with irish roots
Watch Shapes of things ,live in Ireland,,then you'll see how a guitar should be played.. different level 👍 live ya reviews by the way 🤟
He shreds a bit too? Hahaha.
If you really want to see Gary Moore just show how it’s done, try Parisienne Walkways from the One Night In Dublin gig…. Hairs will be standing on the back of your necks
Try "The End of the World" if you want to see Gary really rock out.
You should do a reaction to Gary Moores Murder in the skies 🤓
When I first heard that song I was blown away. It's so awesome.
Gary Moore is a true underrated killer. Lol, and honestly, to actually watch a real musician, the music, Even from the 1980s LOL, is better than watching or listening to someone with a fifth grade education write coffee shop poetry and perform it with laptop software BackBeats LOL! Oh excuse me, I mean "rap" 🤣🤣
Please, reacts to "Please, neal morse - jesus the Exorcist - Episode 14"
