ROB LANDES is an award-winning violinist who started playing the violin at 3 years in Orem, Utah. Born to a large musical family, Rob gave his first solo recital at 10 years old, performed in the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on the Disney Channel with the Disney Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, and founded a piano trio that performed actively throughout his teenage years. Rob has won first prize at numerous music competitions and has soloed with the Utah Symphony, Utah Valley Symphony, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, BYU Philharmonic, and BYU Chamber Orchestra. As a first violinist of the BYU Chamber Orchestra, Rob performed in more than twenty cities throughout central and southern Europe, and as concertmaster of the orchestra, gave a concert to a sold-out audience in New York’s Carnegie Hall. Rob was awarded full scholarships to attend Brigham Young University and Rice University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Music and Master’s in Music, respectively. While studying at Rice, Rob began covering rock and pop music, and upon returning to Salt Lake City after graduation, began playing with a looper pedal which he uses to create intricate and stunning arrangements of today and yesterday’s most popular music Rob recently won the award for "Best Instrumental" at the Utah Music Awards for his rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah".

My first and only zelda was twilight princess when i was 9 and it became one of my top favorite games of all time.
Now i'm 21 started ocarina of time and majora's mask and i feel nostalgic over them even though i never played them before, it's like twilight princess gives you the same taste

I have Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time. I beat Ocarina of Time a long time ago, I'm replaying through the game it's so nostalgic. I sadly can't play Majora's Mask until I get the expansion pack for my N64
Honestly, I got goosebumps when The Breath of the Wild's main theme played. It is amazing to see all the amazing songs within the Zelda franchise, and how it finally led up to Botw.

Zelda is legend
There has been a definite tone shift in Zelda music over the years. There’s still the same heroic and epic ballads that we all know and love, but I think the thing that makes BoTW so memorable is the fact that a great majority of the songs are slow and almost sad, scary one of them borrowing melodies and tonal themes from previous songs in the franchise.
The series has really been allowed to mature and grow into how it addresses the deeper themes that they have been exploring for decades.
Themes of adventure, danger, and fun yes, but also fear and loss as heartache.
I think BoTW speaks to longtime fans so deeply because it was made for looking back at the past and appreciating it even as we move forward into the future.
There’s so much love in these games and in this music. The Zelda games will probably be my favorite games of all time
For a good reason the setting is supposed to be sad all your friends died and Gannon is growing stronger day by day

From the epicness of ocarina of time to the sadness of majoras mask. To the innocence of windwaker where your fighting not as a hero, but also as a big brother.

yeah, the ballad of the windfish... an omission, like the rest of the portable games, like the oracles, Minish Cap and the DS games... all of them have really amazing music -I think the only one with not so memorable music is Phantom Hourglass, at least since it just have a remix of Windwaker OST plus a couple tunes-

A few of the dates were a littpe off (skyward was 2011, wind waker was 2002, et cetera) and were's the handheld releases man! I want some tarm ruins and lorule castle. But besides that, awesome video man. You really captured the essence of the best video game series of all time

Gotta say, The Wind Waker is my favourite game of all time, not just Zelda game. It was also the first game I remember playing on the Gamecube. Great video. The Dragon Roost theme was, as the kids say, fire.

Man. Wind waker had alot of great songs you could use, it was based on a magical composing instrument after all. Also, whenever you struck an enemy sometimes itd play notes, and thats awesome to me.
