Hi I hope you still actively monitor this :) I am trying to do the same thing for an island, I have the KraftMaid MBEP 2434 (Matching Base End Panel) and my questions is how did you attach these to the ends? It appears that we have the same 'skin' on the back of the island - same question - how did you attach that?
Hello! Attaching an end panel to the end of a face frame cabinet requires a little extra material to make it work. You’ll notice the face frame sticks past the end about 3/16-1/4”. What I do is add a thin 1/4” panel the size of the end panel (in height) and trim it the 3/4” in width so it rests behind the face frame. Now the side where the end panel attaches will be flush. Then I screw 4 screws from the inside of the cabinet in all 4 corners as close to the front and back as you can get. These screws will be 1 1/4” long so they make it through the (now 3/4” thick side) and into the 3/4” panel without going through. You may add a washer too so the screw doesn’t pull in too far and through the end panel. Hope this helps!
Ah, I wasn't sure if KraftMaid was different. The tall utility cabinets I got from them have some sort of hardware holding the end panels in place (came this way from the factory). I assumed since the ones for the island had holes in them, on all four corners, that maybe I didn't receive some hardware that was supposed to come with the end panels. Thank you for your quick reply - I'll try to call KraftMaid today and if they don't have a solution, I'll take your advice.@@TheCabinetCouple
I’m trying to decide on these cabinets. I wanted white and these Kraftmaid are only available white dove I believe. Do you think it looks truly white or slightly grey?

Not with tile. Only with floating floors.
We purchased Kraftmaid cabinets from Home Depot. They were not inexpensive, almost $20,000. plus another almost $6,000. for installation and we don't have a large kitchen. We are extremely disappointed with the quality. Side panels and accessories do not match the cabinet front and appear to be made from a different material.
Both Home Depot and Kraftmaid are offering no solutions. We are being forced to hire a custom cabinet shop to fix the problems, without knowing if we will be adequately compensated for the cost, not to mention our time and inconvenience while our kitchen is demolished.
Very sad to see both these companies failure to take responsibility for their product. My recommendation is not to buy cabinets from Home Depot or Kraftmaid. They will rip you off by selling you one thing and delivering another.
Do you just copy and paste the same message into every kraftmaid video?
