Yes, what is mind bogling is how Shao Khan is just as old is a heavy weight 8 foot tall dude with a magic war axe and armor who is part of a stronger legendary draconic race descendant from onaga who has been going to wars for all that time, and still looses to a 20 year old in a kimono. Liu Kang really did Shao Khan dirty, he must have given him the equivalent of draconic mega Artritis when he was born.
@@avmrb42 well and now that I think about it none of Earth's champions had super powers either. Johnny cage no, Kenshi needs sento, Kung Lao is just the hat story wise, and Raiden needed to be given a talisman. The Lin Kuei are all our powered individuals and they don't even compete.
@zato-1766 Mortal Kombat never took their villains realistically, because the good guys need to win, but the last game they straight out nerfed the outworlders to a non-treat. Which is a shame because honestly Shang-Tsung is not a very apealing villain being a skinny scamming street-boy, turned wizard that just learned magic and got mad with power. And Quan-Chi is just a court mage that learned necromancy rather than the demon king of Nether Realm. While Shao Khan and Syndel are outworld's queen and king, who battle hordes of Monstrosities and conquered the most inospitable of the realms trough sheer streght, but still get beaten easily, by the likes of Reptile since he joined team good guys. The Stakes were so low they had to bring an alternate version of him that was a Titan to make him a threath. The good thing is that now they set themselves up to have to make either Sub-Zero Onaga or Shao-Khan the main villains for the next game, so big hopes for the next story line. Hopefully we get scorpion to be the hero this time.
@@avmrb42 i remember there being an old canon explanation back in the early 2k's and late 90s. That something about humans just being more spiritual or whatever, balances out the power scaling. Allowing them to keep up with outworlders experience.
He hasn’t really used his kung Lao noogie either … this dude is really good tho … my only gripe really with kung is his spin has no combo potential I don’t even know what it’s for
Kung Lao is better than he's ever been in this game. Bnbs for every character end the same. He has several combo routes if you want them but good players maximize damage when they get it. With every character

Seeing the projectile battle and watch you and that Kung Lao pick at each other for an opening is just so cool to watch i suck too much at the projectile game😂
I got to play a handful of matches with Kung Lao the other day i just wasn't feeling him. I hope that changes when i get the game myself and practice. I love Liu Kang And Kung Lao.
Because of the distance and how she is slightly stunned doing scream, she is unable to get a jump in to continue the combo. Either that or the timing is super strict.
By the way, Sarina is also suitable for Kung Lao, today I tried to pour 456 damage on her with two camps, and this is with one meter. Trash and fumes guys🤣🤣🤣
Yes for combos she suitable for everyone..But she doesn't cover up Lao gaps..She dont help him combo from his best move his Armour launcher's..She dont make his strings plus or safe..Because you can punish her back kameo move..Its all about the style you want to play and people don't seem to understand that.
