Really enjoyed this video. I will definitely try this out in my training. I am shooting for a very long time and I know these moments when I am able to focus entirely on shooting, shut down my thinking, and the arrows goes directly where I want and the shot feels perfect. But these moments are scarce. I hope your techniques will help me to achieve more of these precious moments...
Got a modern takedown recurve and a Rolan snake bow.
Honestly I enjoy shooting that cheap bow a lot more 😅
And it gets much more use.
If you think you wanna dabble in archey, get one of those.
Or perhaps the youth twin bow, 71" flatbow or Scythian bow offerings by Flagella Dei if you really can't stand fibreglass or the plastic of the snake bows
They're very affordable too (generally around the €100 range)
And they're good performing bows, punching well above their weight.

Many thanks. I have suffered with bad anxiety for over 30 years now and have tried every breathing technique out there but my brain pops in with ' im not going to let you do that'. I love archery but have never thought of combining the two. I will be trying this tomorrow. Hopefully I can obtain some peace. Great video squire

Recently the sound of the arrow and bow string puts me somewhere else
This can and will help a lot of people, if they'll simply take it seriously and try it.
I've been a "Meditator" for over 40 years now, and it's gotten me through a lot.
And I have tried many different forms. All have value, and you simply have to find what works for you. ( I've even done it with pistol shooting. lol )
The tool doesn't matter, so long as you're comfortable with it and not stressing over it.
