The smart way to handle getting access to your forested areas. Keep stuff indoors when not in use and it can go decades without rust. My homemade cutter is the perfect thing for the snake filled areas here. I don't have an enclosed cab but even if I did it would useless unless the engine was running and the air conditioning on. I have a swinging blade design on mine but the carbide mulcher is something I might want to add to it. The open front design looks good for cutting small trees but I built mine low profile to reach under fences. There are a few farms that pay me to mow the fence lines

Great video, thanks. Good comments, I see people try to tear up their stuff all of the time.

Have you had to replace the carbide teeth? If so is it an easy process?

I have not. However, the process for replacing them on this model is to grind the weld off, remove the teeth, and weld a new set in place. Not easy. With that said, MTL does not make this model anymore (XCT). All of their newer models have a bolt on, bolt off type of carbide teeth system, much easier.

How long does it take you to mow an acre of smaller brush with this machine?
