Hi Pete, As a software engineer I have been kinda doing a deep dive into the Ai technology behind this stuff. It starts with extraction software that is targeted against the “follow” analog track, analyzing it, and then embellishing it according to the user’s preference parameters and then regenerates the digital image. The Ai algorithms are of course embedded as API’s in Logic Pro. I mention the above as a preface to the concept of Ai Vocals. I can’t sing, but just imagine how wonderful it would be to have a Studio Singer… Male, Female, Sinatra, Karen Carpenter, or your favorite singer… And then take your own voice and have it become a blend of yours and your favorite? This already exists. However, unfortunately only in standalone web based apps that require at least a Mac or Windows platform for processing power and performance for the embedded API’s. The next big thing I suspect, once the iPad has sufficient iOS capabilities, will be an Ai Studio Singer in the model of the Kits.Ai app, and similar which I am currently doing research on. Not sure if this is something that you are interested in, but mark my words, Ai Vocals is the next big thing. Do you have any insight into the possibilities of Ai Vocals for iOS devices in the future?
Thanks Scotty. Sorry for the delayed response. The RUclips bots flagged this as potential SPAM becuase of the "Kits.Ai" - it doesn't like links... or what it thinks are links. I guess the robots aren't perfect yet! Given the current backlash against other AI music, I think Apple will stay away from vocals to be honest? I'd be less surprised to see Strings, Brass and maybe guitar... but not sure vocals would be the move Apple want to make. I've been wrong before though! I didn't think Logic Pro was coming to iPad at all!!

This was most interesting. Barrie continues to moan about his bass sound, but not keen to try this until we can afford to fix the problem. We’ll see😃
