  • Dry Brushing is suggested to be a tool to help keep the lymphatic system healthy and moving. Dry brushing for lymphatic drainage is used by some to try and reduce swelling. As a certified lymphedema therapist, I show you in this video how the lymphatic system works and what would be the correct technique and sequencing for lymphatic drainage.
After creating the dry brushing video for the body (see link below), It was highly requested to show how to properly dry brush the face and neck. It was asked to complete an updated routine without music and hair pulled back for a better visual, so here is the updated video! The original can be found here: • Dry Brushing for Lymph...

Thank you for this helpful video on dry brushing. I recently purchased a set for me and a set for my sister. I sent her your video. Now I can see he value of the smaller dry brush. Very well explained and I like that you suggested using your hand on your face if the brush becomes irrirtaing. ~ Diane

I tend to use a firmer pressure. Is the only downside scratching of the skin? I don't scratch the skin, but my skin turns red. But, I'm fair and turn red easily. I just want to confirm I'm still getting full benefit of moving the lymph. Love your videos!

Thank you so much for your videos. Is it ok to do both sides of the face at the same time? I’m using just my hands.

Would you consider doing a video on tmj and jaw swelling? I have tmj and my masseter muscles swell. I don't want to use botox on them. It's embarrassing to have such a square jawline. ( I'm an oncology nurse, so my mask is helpful to hide it.) I would love any advice. I hope I don't sound superficial.
    Thank you so much for

Thank you ! do i understand it correctly that it is totally ok to do this sequence using just hands and two sides at the same time - as long as i follow the lines and use light strokes ?

For vegans, most face brushes are NOT vegan. Many brushes are animal hairs. Look for those that say soft bamboo bristles.
