I think when you're harvesting silage like this you should try to switch the courseplay course to be circular instead of using up/down rows. Turning those semis back around at the ends of each row is soooo agonizingly slow
One option for your harvestore is to download the upgradeable factories mod. It will allow to upgrade all your production points to process faster and increase storage capacity
Kederk I don't know if remembered this or not, however some of the settings in AD is per truck setting. So you have to set all 3 trucks to not drive in the field.
Great video. I’ve been watching this series for a while now. Quick question though. How do you get the corn you chop into chaff and not maze? Is it due to you not using maze plus?
I don't use maize plus. I know that mod does a lot of modifications to forage operations and animal feed mechanics in general so I wouldn't be surprised.

That's a base game mod in the auger wagons category however I do have a mod installed that allows lime to be transported in an auger wagon which is also on the in-game mod hub
Idk how or if it would work for silage but when im doing a big harvest i use cp in conjunction with ad i let co operate in the field then it switches to ad to deliver to the silos and wen it gets back to the field it switches back to cp but like i said idk if it works with silage I've never tried it
Hmm I'm not sure how that would work but I am curious to look at the options in more detail. I've use the CP unloader mod for running grain carts and it works pretty good but never silage trucks.
It's built into the map so no, not really though there are other fermenting silos available on the mod hub I'm pretty sure. Not sure if any have been setup to produce TMR as well like I've done though. If not seems like something that would be popular and is something that a modder could certainly do for a console mod.
I did the exact same thing as you but when my tractor gets to the dump point he will just stop and shut off he won’t unload and keep going. Do you know if there is a setting I can change?
Make sure that you're unload point is a bit ahead of the dump trigger if the trailer unload point doesn't get into the dump trigger the driver will just stop. Also make sure you're using the correct AutoDrive mode for delivery and have selected the crop type.
As Tyler mentioned it'd be a tight fit in our yard to pull them through which is why I just went with the unrealistic capacity option. Trying to find a balance between realism and playability.
I'm using the same truck on a different save and not having any issues. I think it's the specific wheel configuration. I'm going to do some troubleshooting and see if I can figure it out and give Northwest Mods & Edits a heads up.

That Peterbilt was doing that to me also, didn't matter what wheel setup I had it set up on.
Someone mentioned that it might be the dirt mask. I'm going to try and clean the trucks and see if it resolves the issue temporarily.

Or try using lands mode, that's worked decent in the past for me

Could just add a multi-fruit silo expansion maybe might not work with the harvest store
Also u could put down a fermenting silo so it makes it easier then a bunker
I do think I'm going to use a fermenting silo like I have on the farm. A bunker seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth at this point.

What forage harvester is that the base game jaguar says it doesn't have enough horsepower.power for the header
I'm using the one released by Skywalker Farms, it should be available on the in-game mod hub.

Yea i use it all the time but im like you ive never tried on a silage truck mainly bc i enjoy doing running the truck myself lol
