Nice vid bro. This car seemed ok enuff. Goes smoothly on the road and went well on the loose ground especially considering it only has road tires on. I think this would b perfect for a beginner or a young teen maybe. It’s the cheapest out of the 3 yes? It’s worth the money but a little slow.
@tidyt3656 If speed is your thing, yup slowest of the lot. But if you are into scale driving, this was pretty good. I wish I had some good trails or even a good dirt track to run this on. But I do enjoy it on the softball field.
@@ReadySetRC I hear u mate. Fair play. I do prefer the faster rc’s tho personally. I agree, would have been nice to see it on a dirt track/stage. I bet it would have done very well. Can defo have fun with this tho and that’s all that really matters if ur not actually racing.
Have you seen the new Audi Quattro version they're about to release.? Same chassis but a larger motor & a 3S capable ESC.. (Like this should've been out the box) 😉 & for the same £289 here in the UK. I'm definitely getting myself one when they're released.!! 👍 👍
@kaosr.c Right! I could watch that all day. Now I wish there were more 7th scale rally's. I know there is the KM/Traction Hobby WRC C3 Thor but the price is way more than what I would spend on it.
Have, awesome, someone forgot to glue the hexes :p Now seriously - the car is indeed not super fast BUT it seems to drive really well, is not twitchy and (though you only rode on flat/smooth surfaces so far) together with that really nice body it makes it look very scale. I must give them that. There are enough videos of the other two cars so that I know that they will be lot more faster, aggressive and ripping the ground - but that can take away some of the scale impression. But I am getting ahead of the story. After our (sadly not very good) experience with Arrma Mojave 6s (though it seems we got most of the issues figure out that were centered around dogbones popping out and killing the out drives in the process) and the frustrating amount of work to get to a diff just because the designers did not care the car will need to be maintained - that is something I would be giving a lot of priority when choosing a rally car. I would want something robust and reasonably easy to work on (and clean!). So I am very curios about all the upcoming parts of this series.
@matusknives No question this is third in speed. The Puma is a jet. Even for an old platform the HPI is the cleanest setup to work on. I haven't wrenched on the CEN yet but my experience with CEN's it's never straightforward. Maybe this one will surprise me but just looking at the frontend I doubt it. I'll say this in parting even though the M48S is the slowest of the bunch, it feels and drives true to scale IMO.
Hi ReadySet, it sounds like it toos out very quickly. It has just the right amount of lesn in the turns on asphal. Handled the base ball field like a champ

@peteroosterhoff8850 Yeah that's my thoughts, could be something in the 4000kvish world. Pinion is maxed out from the manufacturer. I got a a few motors in the parts bin I could try.
@@ReadySetRC maybe interesting also to weigh the cars. Sometimes thats an advantage in handling, less power needed and so on. Already checked about everything there is on parts on the carisma. Like old body more dan newer hpi Subaru. Only thing is as far as how im looking at it now when taking everything in account the hpi will be more bang for the buck. Dont need to upgrade. For me that wouldnt be the biggest problem since i have multiple esc's and motors, but also diff's of hpi look more sturdy to me. But then again, spares are cheap from charisma... Very curious whats going to be your favorite at the end! 👍

@fogcityrc4874 This one surprised me. Electronics need to be taken out off the jump at the very least the ESC but not what I expected, in a good way.
I love their 1/24’s. I also buy every new model. I found using WLTOYS lipos make them almost twice as fast than normal lipos

Looked very decent and stable! Guessing a motor in 4500kv (since you geared max) range and some extra power would do the trick.
