I am leaning towards the TT Pro. Looks, metal chassis and shocks and center diff, for a current price of $399, I think that is a winner.

Just picked up the TT Pro. For me it’s a hands down winner.

At the end of the day it's all about the driver if you are racing.

I got a deal on my TT Pro, some place had one they wanted it gone and it was only $375, so I grabbed it. I was leaning towards a Senton before I came across the deal. I think Traxas is overpriced in general and only their most expensive stuff interests me. My TT had one stripped screwhole that I fixed with the cable tie and fishing line method, and it hasn't proven to be an issue. Everything else was tight, and unlike my Granite, the wheel nuts weren't super tight, like my Granite's wheel nuts were, to the point of stripping out the included junk plastic "wrench". A weird thing, every single TT Pro I've seen had the same busted up accessory box. If I hadn't had mine for quite a while before you made the first video, I would almost think mine and yours is the same truck. Yours wasn't tied down in the box, but mine sure was. There was an oil spot on the bottom of the box, but I can't figure out what was leaking. So far, nothing has broken or bent, and I've bashed it pretty hard. It jumps great, and I prefer the handling over a friend's Slash, and the TT is faster out of the box. We got 44 Mph the first time we ran it, the Slash went 39, to it lines up with your speeds. Nice video!

@nrd515 Glad to read you are enjoying your TT Pro experience. I'm a huge fan of the this line up from Losi. Before they called it Tenacity, I still got my rally and buggy. Got to bring those back on the channel. The buggy I got it running 4S and 17mm wheels, also added some upgraded bracing. For the rally, it's about to go through a transformation. My original body is in mint condition so I'm going to paint something up for it and do some other cosmetic changes.

    Great Shootout !!
I don’t have either, but I would lean towards the Slash Ultimate. SCTs are my “bash anytime anywhere” RCs and PARTS will be the deciding factor.
Having many more Losi RCs than Traxxas, I notice I stock up on more Losi parts and do not drive them as hard as I do Traxxas (or Arrmas).

@2XRC Thank you sir! I felt you would like this. Good point on the parts. The Ultimate surprised me. You know how much of a Losi homer I am. I was expecting a landslide but it's closer than I thought.

So how many championships has the slash beaten the Losi ??
If it handles better there must be proof in race results??
Or could it be that the slash tyres simply break traction easier on "grass" which has nothing to do with the actual cars handling overall !
I have a Losi ten scte and a pal has that slash , his Slash can not race , its simply got no presence on the track , its not planted , the Losi is a FAAAR better made and better value for money truck , its that simple!!

Great video and comparison!!! For me Traxxas clearly wins !! No support no love for horizon hobby, a company telling you that your channel and your work sux and you don’t bring any value to the hobby and community won’t sell anything to me again !!!!

All around durability and aluminum shock towers with the tt. I've had more fun with my losi than the traxxas.

I'm not really a fanboy of either of these companies. they are both bloated and over priced for what they are selling. Traxxas just comes off as greedy with everything proprietary and Losi's customer service sucks. That said, I would choose the Losi simply on looks. I would sacrifice the handling performance and mod it to suit my driving anyway, but I don't want to drive something that looks like a toy. I like scale stuff, but that's me. Also, spending over $500 on an RC should really have you questioning what your priorities are in life, but some have the money to blow.🤷‍♂ Not me. Honestly I like the Heatwave Baja Rey the best, but it's so expensive!

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  4 месяца назад +2

@scaleworksRC The Baja Rey is one of my favorite trucks. As much as I like the Heatwave body, that's the issue I can't see any reason to buy it when I own the 1.0. This hobby on a whole is too damn expensive but we have our vices.

    • @scaleworksRC

@@ReadySetRC Yeah, sorry if I sounded like a jerk there.. I realize there's stages to the hobby as well. And if you're a racer, then every little bit counts to win, so that cost to have all the latest and greatest I totally get. I was more talking from a 'regular check to check' kinda guy.
