- In this video we head out to a local creek to do some fun fishing. Krystal catches the orangest redfish I have ever seen! We use a new Datil blackening season and make some fish sandwiches for lunch.

I catch them in Spruce Creek which looked very similar to where you were. They get super orange back there too. Really tannic. Great video!!! Tight lines.
Don’t mind rinsing dishes and using the dishwasher. It’s the dishes left in the sink that drive me nuts. Thanks mom for that. Lol

Those canals are loaded with blue crabs especially when it cools down. Hot skillet and good butter with damn near any kinda fresh seafood is gonna draw every hungry varmint around with that look out I'm comin' in hot smell of utter hongriness ..... Those canals hold lots of flounder, clams, and mussels. A man can eat good on the brackish backwaters and ICW.

Krystal’s redfish was absolutely beautiful. Your marsh creeks looked like our creeks on Apalachee Bay minus the high clay banks. The first time i cooked blackened redfish i set off every smoke alarm in my buddies house. It was pretty late at night and his wife was not amused.

Beautiful red! We used to catch bright gold colored ones in the brackish canals on Merritt Island WR...until mosquito control drained all the canals about 5 yrs back...wiped out 2 big schools of the Golden reds.

I like taking the bread and grilling it on both sides like a grilled cheese. The bread doesn't get soggy and the crunch you will get is awesome. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

That’s one beautiful red,Born and raised on Bayou Terrebonne in south Louisiana i never coughed a red that color.
I see them a lot but this one was extra orange
I also make my own tartar sauce. Try sometime adding some fresh dill and horseradish. Delicious!

In the marsh is where the orange reds are always found the lighter ones spend more time in the bays and move to shallow water with the tide but the orange ones only move out of the marsh when a cold front pushes the water out by beautiful fish

Great video Tug & Crystal! What a beautiful fish Crystal caught. When I saw you put the homemade tartar on the sandwich, I was like, man I hope he shows me his recipe. Thank you for that. It’s almost exactly like mine, but I like to add some fresh dill as well. That sandwich looked so good, especially the cheese.
