Introducing myself in Portuguese (B1 level) | Portugal Diaries pt. 1

Olà, amigos! Welcome to my very first video where I actually talk to the camera, and despite my nerves, in Portuguese.
After living here for three months, I know I need an extra push to actively keep improving my Portuguese and record my progress. With the hopes of this video bringing some encouragement to at least one person out there who's in a similar situation, is also an immigrant or simply wants to learn a new language, I felt the motivation to publish this publically.

Lieve schat. Met enorme bewondering kijk ik je eerste video in Portugees. Je bent een doorzetter en hebt zoveel lef!! En toch blijf je dezelfde lieve, gevoelige, empathische, mooie schat die je altijd al was. Een fantastische combinatie. En de eerste ervaringen leren dat je in Portugal helemaal op je plek bent.
