Tagus Man, you have taken the words right out of my mouth. It's architecture. Yes, beauty needs to return into our lives, and it will. Once people recognize how crucial it is to happiness. To surround oneself with nature, find harmony in it's beauty. The Portuguese language is so exquisitely beautiful also, particularly how it describes nature, fauna flowers and the love of the sea. Considering the fact that Portugal is a somewhat an isolated country located in the most western point in Europe, that is situated in a peninsula and its only border is with Spain, Portugal does not suffer from great migrations of people as much as other countries, this fact in tandem with public mentality of the irreversability of consequences for your actions not only for your self but also for other people, make most of us "the portuguese" a very pacifist populace. It is not like we don't have feelings of hatred or dislikes about other people or cultures, we simply don't see any point in spending energy on something that isn't productive, after all hatred generates more hatred. I recon this type of mentality is also due to our colonization past and the fact that we had to come to therms with our past be it the good or the bad. A good example of a demonstration of our civil order is how most dealt with the pandemic and how most adhered to the vaccination, or even how people protest. I guess this lack of "violent" action regarding to sertain situations leaves us prone to them but all in all a life with out unnecessary complications is a more enjoyable one. All I ask of you who visit us is to treat us with as much respect as we treat you even if we are weird in our own way and have our quirks.

We then drove North to Santiago de Compostela across half of Portugal and a good sampling or northwest Spain. The drive was one of most memorable in my entire life. I am now so old no one will rent me a car so no repeats despite a spotless record.
Great video. I've travelled a lot, and Portugal definitely hits that sweet spot for nice weather, welcoming people, history, affordability, natural beauty, good food and drink, and "easy to get to".
Thanks for bringing this amazing video
This is great. Thanks for sharing. I plan on leaving the US soon & this is a very, very strong candidate for me right now.

Outstanding information and presentation. Thanks for making this video. More Portugal videos (smaller cities in or close to the Algarve area & Atlantic Ocean) to follow, please??
Considering the fact that Portugal is a somewhat an isolated country located in the most western point in Europe, that is situated in a peninsula and its only border is with Spain, Portugal does not suffer from great migrations of people as much as other countries, this fact in tandem with public mentality of the irreversability of consequences for your actions not only for your self but also for other people, make most of us "the portuguese" a very pacifist
populace.

The more you know.
Hi you are luck and should thank God for it. God bless you forever 🙏✌️🌹👍💪

Reminds me of my hometown! Love it! ❤
I love Portugal, it IS really the best country in the world! Even after brexit, it opened its frontiers to every englishman and women! They are so nice, that when people were living trough covid and couldnt leave the house, they offered their country to host the champions league final, and the tourists that came didnt even have to follow the rules of the lockdown! And did you know, that if you spend more than a milion euros there, youll get a golden visa?
Boy, I fucking love Portugal, and if you’re not Portuguese, you’ll love it to!
I have made two friends from portugal yesterday. this is why iam learning about portugal.
