@Dead Burter that's true, but when the yaegerists overthrew the government they did it because they have opposing morals/views to their current government. The alliance are doing the same thing, going against the yeagarists due to different morals/views. So is it really fair to call the Allaince the traitors? Without atleast calling the yaegarists traitors?
@Dead Burter because they believe that its necessary and justify it using the violence they faced in the past to seem righteous. They victimize the island then proceed to perpetuate the cycle of hatred by supporting the rumbling. Aot is a show about nuance, not black and white, there is always a choice.
Floch may not be the "perfect leader" but he stayed true to his people. Died fighting for Eldia as that was all that mattered in the first place. It was never about the world nor will the world help them. Forever Legend...
Erwin: ... Who the **** are you, recruit? 😂 Also didn't Floch hate him? He wanted him to lead them but didn't he stop his murder attempt to make him suffer?
Floch only wanted Erwin to be "a devil" to ensure their survival, even if it meant killing more people than he could imagine. Erwin would never be that desperate and ruthless as to conscienly destroy the planet, he was smart and kind.
People who say that he is continuing the cycle of hatred must realize the time was reconciliation was over already The only way it would have resulted in peace if erwin would have inherited colossal and went to Marley to hijack willy's speech and make a speech to clear things up about their plight about they lived like that but being equally intimidating that if anyone attacks them again we will activate rumbling he could bluff about handing over female titan to historia as no one knew what happened to Annie making them believe they can activate rumbling if they want and erwin could still escape making a condition that if he doesn't reach Paradis they would activate rumbling This was the sole moment where the world could have witnessed the reality of this world but it desperately required erwin So floch is not wrong to act the way he does because after willy's speech the world was definitely coming for them more than ever before it was basically them or us for floch if they lost eren thye again enter a perpetual battle for existence so floch wasn't wrong at all
There were *lots* of courses of action other than the Rumbling that could've saved Paradise. For example before S4E1 when Marley was fighting wars against everybody else, Paradise could've come to the aid of whoever was losing, maybe build some goodwill but more importantly keep Marley tied up in never-ending war. They could've extracted Zeke in a covert manner that wouldn't be a cause for war. Heck they didn't even need Zeke - if they're willing to sacrifice a royal they could just make one a pure titan, put it in a cage, and then keep one around for generations rather than have to sacrifice a new royal every 13 years. Since Eren can send messages back in time, maybe he could've told himself not to kill the Rod Reiss titan and instead to touch and take control of it. They didn't need to attack Willy's speech at all. Eren only needed warhammer powers to break out of the prison he wouldn't have been in if he hadn't gone rogue in the first place. Marley's generals were incompetent and they'd have been better off keeping them alive. And finally, my preferred solution: build a giant harem for Levi Ackerman and have him impregnate as many women as possible. Then they'd have an army of Ackermans which could fight off any invasion. Make love, not war. The point I'm trying to make is everyone was railroaded into a single horrifying binary choice between two stupid options by the power of plot, and I don't think even Erwin Smith could've fixed it.
@@ailius1520 i respect it and thanks for your opinion it gives me more perspectives to think and introspect again The reason why I gave that situation was because if they didn't attack at all willy would still have been successful and you have to realize willy played the best political move anyone could have played it united the world like no other while encouraging the eldian fear to the world again which makes everything that happened before how many used them against other nations how they created the notion of eldians being the monster they should didn't matter anymore but if you hijack the speech when they have rightfully admitted their crimes you have a better stand to give your views when world knows about the atrocities you have faced by a credible source that stand when used by someone like Erwin could have been really instrumental while keeping the balance of threat and conscience of people this would have been enough for the rumbling to never happen The fact of making an Ackermann factory is a good suggestion but you must have to have a card that inflicts fear into minds of people to evaluate is it worth gaining while lose this much it's just like nuclear bomb if you have it you atleast have the power to keep other ones in check that bargaining chip is very effective for your security that's the reason every nation wants it
@@ailius1520 "Paradise couldve come to the aid of whoever was losing" as established in ep1 of s4, regardless of which side is winning, they both despise eldians. even as Falco saved the soldier from certain death, he called hima devil, and that he shouldnt touch him. Having Paradis as a common enemy is beneficial for the world powers. theres nothing that could convince them to join them openly, knowing that theyll be hated by the world as a result. "They couldve extracted zeke in a covert manner" It would be extremely hard to not only locate but get zeke out of Liberio before the Marleyans notice. Not only is he a warrior candidate, but hes their most experienced one. The attack on Marley was the best time to covertly extract zeke, and even then Magath caught on instantly. "If theyre willing to sacrifice a royal...generations" The only royal they could sacrifice was Historia, and prior to 139, eren made clear that he wasnt willing to do that. Not to mention the fact that hell be dead in 4 years. That would be leaving Paradis' fate up to chance, and is something he (prior to 139) was completely adverse to doing. Eren wasnt willing to continue prolonging the conflict in hopes of finding a solution. The story goes out of its way to show that the rumbling ( or eldian euthanasia) were the only options that ended the cycle, as they resulted in the annihilation of one side. "Mabye he couldve told himself not to kill rod reiss titan" Future eren didnt tell past eren anything. The attack titan can send memories to previous inheritors, and eren himself is not two different inheritors. He sent memories of the future to Grisha, and eren viewed Grishas memories via the normal titan ability. For that to work, Eren would have had to tell Grisha about the Rod Reiss Titan, which would kikely lead grisha to question why hes even making him leave Rod alive in the first place, and derail his plans. There would have been no reason. "They didnt need to attack willy's speech" Eren attacked Willy's speech to obtain zeke, as well as accelerate the outside worlds attack on the island so that the yeagerists could quickly control the island. Again, without either eren's or zekes plans, no amount of time would have resulted in a solution before the outside world came and carpet bombed the place. therefore the founding titan ability was required. as for why he needed zeke, and not any other option ive explained that in the other points.
It is ironic how hypocrites love Erwin as a character but hated Floch. They are literally the same person portraying the duality of their character. @@ignacioruiz-retegui6196 I'm saying they're both Erwin but highlighted on a different shade. It's like Erwin portrays the white lies while Floch directly implies the ulterior motives.

Imagine what Erwin would have done to save Eldia. I would love to see that happen ☹️
He assemble the whole yegarist from all over the paradise ,combined the three regiments at one. Control the places of paradise to protect the eldia. Helping eren and using yelena for this mission. Become a leader of all regiments means yeagarist Which no one can done that easy . That,s why everyone calling him the king.
Of course it was easy, he used Zeke's poison and when that didn't work, bombs and bullets. And when neither, he used speeches filled with anger, fearmongering and pretty words to sugarcoat the Rumbling.
You say it's a surprising achievement he made easily but all he did was poison the heads of the regiments and shoot people (when his men didn't do it for him) until only he remained at top. It's not like he was respected and smart enough to make everyone follow him.
Some ppl pointed out that he dislocated his right arm firing a thunder spear at Pieck too close, which isn’t the kind of mistake Ackermanns are likely to do in combat (Levi only took damage fighting Kenny Ackerman, saving Mikasa from a dumb play and underestimating Zeke’s will to move forward). IMO it makes it more badass, even if Floch is a psycho, murderous nazi he still firmly believes he’s doing what is right ti save his country and will die by his ideals no matter what the odds are

He already stated from the beginning when you enter the SC consider yourself to be on death's list. He didn't deceive them. While his pursuit of the basement to prove his father's theories took a toll on him mentally, he entrusted that dream to levi so he and the squad could continue that mission. which is why I find it shocking that so many of the reactors just assumed Floch lied about Eren telling the plan to him. The only way it would have resulted in peace if erwin would have inherited colossal and went to Marley to hijack willy's speech and make a speech to clear things up about their plight about they lived like that but being equally intimidating that if anyone attacks them again we will activate rumbling he could bluff about handing over female titan to historia as no one knew what happened to Annie making them believe they can activate rumbling if they want and erwin could still escape making a condition that if he doesn't reach Paradis they would activate rumbling
This was the sole moment where the world could have witnessed the reality of this world but it desperately required erwin
So floch is not wrong to act the way he does because after willy's speech the world was definitely coming for them more than ever before it was basically them or us for floch if they lost eren thye again enter a perpetual battle for existence so floch wasn't wrong at all
There were *lots* of courses of action other than the Rumbling that could've saved Paradise.
@@ailius1520 i respect it and thanks for your opinion it gives me more perspectives to think and introspect again
The reason why I gave that situation was because if they didn't attack at all willy would still have been successful and you have to realize willy played the best political move anyone could have played it united the world like no other while encouraging the eldian fear to the world again which makes everything that happened before how many used them against other nations how they created the notion of eldians being the monster they should didn't matter anymore but if you hijack the speech when they have rightfully admitted their crimes you have a better stand to give your views when world knows about the atrocities you have faced by a credible source that stand when used by someone like Erwin could have been really instrumental while keeping the balance of threat and conscience of people this would have been enough for the rumbling to never happen
The fact of making an Ackermann factory is a good suggestion but you must have to have a card that inflicts fear into minds of people to evaluate is it worth gaining while lose this much it's just like nuclear bomb if you have it you atleast have the power to keep other ones in check that bargaining chip is very effective for your security that's the reason every nation wants it
@@ailius1520 Worlds End Harem - Levi Akerman edition.
I love the way you think sir.
@@ailius1520 "Paradise couldve come to the aid of whoever was losing"
as established in ep1 of s4, regardless of which side is winning, they both despise eldians. even as Falco saved the soldier from certain death, he called hima devil, and that he shouldnt touch him. Having Paradis as a common enemy is beneficial for the world powers. theres nothing that could convince them to join them openly, knowing that theyll be hated by the world as a result.
"They couldve extracted zeke in a covert manner"
It would be extremely hard to not only locate but get zeke out of Liberio before the Marleyans notice. Not only is he a warrior candidate, but hes their most experienced one. The attack on Marley was the best time to covertly extract zeke, and even then Magath caught on instantly.
"If theyre willing to sacrifice a royal...generations"
The only royal they could sacrifice was Historia, and prior to 139, eren made clear that he wasnt willing to do that.
"Mabye he couldve told himself not to kill rod reiss titan"
Future eren didnt tell past eren anything.
"They didnt need to attack willy's speech"
Eren attacked Willy's speech to obtain zeke, as well as accelerate the outside worlds attack on the island so that the yeagerists could quickly control the island. Again, without either eren's or zekes plans, no amount of time would have resulted in a solution before the outside world came and carpet bombed the place. therefore the founding titan ability was required. as for why he needed zeke, and not any other option ive explained that in the other points.
@@pyrite2060 yeah, the only logical one is the harem for levi😄
