I have another EA title, Titanfall 2, working in full and very well on ultra settings, but cant seem to get Battlefront 2 to launch. Just presents a launcher in all black, with a full screen black in the background. Any advice?
I'm kinda new to using crossover and its advanced settings and its very confusing, like I play cs2 with D3DMetal and ESync and I get 60+ frames with medium to high settings with very little stuttering, but then I play something like the forest with the same settings and it runs terribly on the lowest settings. Is it because one game is newer and ones older? Should I use DVXK instead for the forest? Should I download CXPatcher because I tried it with cs2 with the same advanced settings as usually and it felt like it ran much worse? I'm using crossover 23.7.0 and M3 Max chip with 96 GB Memory.
try to use msync instead of esync, usually d3dm works better you should check if you have gptk2.0 installed which makes it run much smoother (open the metal hud and see if it says gptk 2.0
Please do a mk1 tutorial video in MacBook

So pity that my air 2020 won't be able to start it :(
Everytime I get a black screen screen at launch, even with GPTK 2, any thoughts ?
Can you play cyberpunk on m3 max?
@@shawna2331 yes, it runs well through crossover!

What if we just have the game in EA Launcher and not Steam, would this method work without the Steam part?
Yes, it should work.
@@macprotips ah just checked, my game is on Epic not EA 😆 that should work the same right?
