This is my baby! You guys did such an unbelievable job! Basically doing the impossible! So many shops just did not want to touch this project. It’s a known thing that candy paint just CANNOT be touched up…but you guys did it and did it unbelievably well!Could not be more pleased! I’ve been looking at it in the sunlight today and absolutely cannot tell one bit where it was repaired. Insane!!! You guys are the best!!!
Like your brother always says: what happened? Nothing happened loll, Amazed how you managed tp merge the new paint on the original seamlessly!! Well done.
Nice to see a real expert painter at work. A pleasure to watch. Would love to see you try HVLP - I think you'd be able to get a good finish and save a fortune on materials.
@@LncPainter HVLP is the spray equipment makers best kept secret - would probably save you 30% on materials and a good painter like yourself would get a good finish
I hope you reply , if I have a candy paint job and I want to re coat it can I just scuff over the clear and re coat it? This video has shown me a lot but you made it look easy 👍🏼
Just wondering why do you want to recoat it? It really is that simple, they made the painful 3 stage candy into a basecoat that matches fairly well! You can definitely prep your panels, basecoat it and clear.
With that expensive paint & body work done, you would think they would make sure all the body lines matched up. The hood has a big gap on the driver's side, trunk has a huge gap and the body line on the passenger door is not even aligned with the fender. Not trying to be a jerk at all, just stating the amount of money the customer paid for this body work, he should get a perfect job done.
I agree the car was not showroom restoration but it did look very nice in person, idk if the camera shows the gaps correctly or not. But I believe the owner bought it already “restored” Definitely looks awesome rolling by 🚗🙌🏻😁

Can u make a video explaining the processs what u sanded it with I saw it was wet but what grit?
I always prep with 600 for basecoat and 800/1000 where clearcoat only
Hienoa työtä, ei olälut helppo väri
should have cleared the hole q-panel-- blend will not last,,but a nice blend
Is a custom candy apple red or we can buy this paint from paint shops having a product code?
Its a color you can buy, House of Kolor KBC11 paint 👊🏻
But how do you repair a uk Kandy? Complete repaint huh?
Not sure how i would tackle that, at least paint the entire panel
No metalic base ??
This is their version of candy without the Silver base. Great for spot jobs 👍🏻
@@LncPainter it's not real candy!

@@LncPainter Oh, so you guys just did the repair and not restored the whole car. My bad.
Exactly! We rarely touch old classics, but if we do its for a minor small repairs 😁🙌🏻
Should say '54 Chevy, not 54' Chevy (unless it's 54 feet long).
😂 thanks 👍🏻
