I've never seen a drum library programmed this way - I feel this library has all you need for your compositions - It's dynamic, it's a complete one stop shop in my opinion. Wow! its fantastic. Thank you so much for the review on this one
Thanks for this vid. Absolutely great and also very usefull. I love it when an instrument is a tool in itself and not just a libary with samples. And that is exactly what Damage 2 is!
I made my choice and invested in Slate + Ash's Auras + Cycles bundle, thinking my purchases were finished for the year. Now I will not stop watching how much fun you're having so I can stick to my budget. :)
This is a bit off topic but I would really appreciate it if you could give a very short, one sentence summary for each of these 5 choirs as they are on their own and again how they compare against each other. I'm leaning toward one of these 5 picks but I'm open to other suggestions as well. I'm not really sure which ones were released when with possibly better/newer features. Ease of use is important as well. Spending excessive amounts of time programming a part is something I want to avoid. Thank you so much! Love the channel! 1. 8Dio Insolidus Choir 2. Fluffy Audio Dominus Pro 3. Strezov Sampling Storm Choir Ultimate 4. Strezov Sampling Freyja Female AND WOTAN Male (bought together) 5. VOXOS 2
Thanks for the great run through Don - seems like this is strong in the epic orchestral department as well as the hybrid/smashy stuff! (technical term)
Trying it right now. It covers (perfectly) so many genres that globaly I can throw away all my percs libraries now.. I'm left with mixed feelings, sadness (deleting my previous libraries) and happiness (having a blast with D2). Only an amazing library can do this to you right ? Or a woman maybe ? Ok I'm taking it too far now ;) Amazing library (once again). Thank you so much for the review Don !
I feel like everything has too much reverb. Maybe I'm wrong but it do sound like even low elements that don't need reverb naturally have too much reverb, and that is no no when mixing. Correct me if I'm wrong. At the end this is amazing library, and as I can heard it is already heavily processed with compression, saturation, EQ and so on. So this will save some time when producing. Thanks for reviewing it, amazing 👍🏻
Thanks Don.....awesome first look! Following an early morning purchase I've been having a first look of my own...this instrument is AMAZING! Wonderful!
I Love all the Heavyocity products, especially the Damage ones. My humble rescore of Damage 2 trailer, as part of Metapop's "Heaviest Score Challenge 2022", notably using some provided samples from Damage 2 and Symphonic destruction: ruclips.net/video/n9DfJQHqFLg/видео.html
Oh Heck ya!!!! This would have to come out "AFTER" I wrap up my latest project. BUT, I think I'll go back in after the mix is done and find some Damage 2 ear candy.
I'm probably alone in this opinion, but the Kit Designer's processed single-samples are such a step down compared to the deep, multi-samples found in the first half of the video. I guess we're getting extra milage out of the samples they've already got but I think beats performed using the Kit Designer would benefit from round robins and velocity layers.
Shmoopy Shaboopy , well, I’m not a parent - but even I know that those little ones can do quite some DAMAGE to their diapers... And to your ears, if you don’t change them on time. 😜
Trailer music is so homogenized and generic sounding, and with this new tool, we can all sound even more the same as each other. Yaay for total unoriginality.
I mean ... that's the business today. If you want to work don't be original. If you can't beat them, join them. I will not die on the hill of musical originality. That's bad for business.
People are basically stealing from each other all the time in this genere. All the way from melody to the drum sounds. It's ridiculous when someone is making trailer or epic music and they say I'm original lol 😂 If I go out and take melody and song structure from 12 songs, and make an album, no one would notice anything because everything is oversaturated. Everything is same, and every song sounds the same. Kudos to everyone who is truly making original music in this genere.

Hey David, my pleasure. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Heavyocity kicked things up a notch or two with this release. The options are out of this world.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts paul , I agree

@@corinasechelariu1307 I was not sure since I never used damage 2. Thanks!
It is the sound of the room it was recorded in, you can eq that out
Don't know if there's such a thing as too much confusing (where was that sound again?) choice, but if that's possible, this is it...

hHey Chemf, agreed! Hard to say . . I have about 14TB of libraries and instrument and I would guess 80% are Kontakt ;)

I don’t think you will be disappointed pb
I did the same lol
Lol, trying not to download it but not going to make it. Looks too good.
Picked this up today as I already own Native Instruments Komplete 12 Ultimate and you get the upgrade price. So pretty nice deal
The upgrade piece is half price NI is only 20% off
@@handoromper7987 Sorry, my mistake
I currently have komplete 12 Ultimate, so do I need to type in my serial number? I have damage one.
