not married yet and already scared of her. yeah that's gonna work out.
looks like his balls are in her purse already lol
Guy: Can I use your restroom?
Rick: All I can do is bucket and I'm taking a risk here.
@Michael Got em😂
@Michael The joke bruh🤣🤣good one tho💪
Ironically there is no public restroom at the pawn shop.
Man I love all these Rick jokes, picture if someone said that in front of him😂😂😂😂
I have to frame it
It’s insane the amount of men who come into this shop selling things so they don’t get yelled at by their wives/girlfriends.
Facts. No woman will ever make me sell anything ever, rest assured
I feel like they make excuses to why. The producers ask them each time why are they selling that item. Its a scripted tv show. Not reality. Not documentary
@@poemanx7297 I don't know man, blowing 8 grand on a piece of rare currency whose actual value you knew nothing about and just blindly gambled on right before getting married, without even talking about it first with your soon to be wife... seems a little bit dumb.

Man spends $7500 on an investment and gets yelled at. Woman spends $7500 on clothes, handbags, and cosmetics and considers it wise spending. If her husband complains then he's a loser who doesn't earn enough.
I like that expert. He actually talks to the seller.
Agreed 😊
Spends 7500 on bills, doesn't have any clue what they are....
MrMarcleb I wish i had extra 7500$ to spend on something random
thats gambling for ya
Lol.... exactly
He didn't spend 7500, he was just bluffing. But the show's fake too so never mind anyways lmao.
Germán Serna Montoya fake or not it’s the script that got me to learn about these notes that I never heard of. I just got educated and I didn’t even realize it.
Can you come up with an original comment?
RUclips Commenters: All I can do is the same Rick joke and I'm taking a risk here.
Jonathan Ly can you come up with an original comment?
Lima Echo Juliette sure, these people shouldn’t go to pawn shops to get money unless it’s quick cash. It’s a good idea to go if you can try to get the appraisal and sell it at the appraisal price elsewhere if you can. There. Doesn’t need to he catchy
Thats pretty good
All i can do is a semi decent kind of original comment and im taking a big risk thinking about it.
Yo word lol
I’ll never understand why people tell Rick how much they paid for this stuff.
hitandrun117 I would of said 20 k
YT NSWK SOLID might as well, always start high and make them bring you down.
@@pickzkickz lol
Exactly what I said before I watched the whole video and read any comments
maybe he just paid 500 $ and said 7500$ we dont know
So impressed with the historical knowledge of these pawn brokers.
It’s scripted, they have experts who tell them the information before the cameras start rolling
Yeah they're absolutely coached and these are setup.
@@micahjacobson6275 they’re are definitely some things they’d know about such as gold silver and jewellery

I bet he would invest in Sears or Kmart.
His wife (assuming they got married and are still together) I'm betting is keeping her money in her own bank account and not a joint account.

Best comment ever
"Spent $7500 on em."
Rick: "You have any idea what these are?"
"No. But I hope I made a good investment."
Me: "wtf..."
JoMomma239 he’s the kind of guy who’s going to have guys breaking his knee caps over gambling debts.
These are actors playing their part, some not very convincing.
I find it hard to believe that someone so cavalier with their money has 7500 laying around to spend on items he knows nothing about.
jmarks881 every person I ever met over 60. Owns multiple houses paid off luxury cars but expects you to cut their entire lawn and weed wack for a ten and complain when they spend
@@Tony-yn5rr just gotta remember they probably didnt get rich by spending money
Alex White you dont lose money paying a guy 20 instead of 10. Counting pennies instead of thousands
@jmarks881 sounds like someones salty
He probably overheard someone at the auction about how valuable they were. He was right because Rick's "appraisers"; ALWAYS under value everything. I've seen that last bill before at a coin show. It is worth 11k...
That guy definitely shouldn't live in Las Vegas.

4:53 what a great poker face 😂
p-p-p-poker face!
He probably knows they are worth more and the expert gave the minimum value. Notice he did not give a number grade, If graded 55 or over could be $25,000 Rick said and I bet they are closer to that than $10,000.
The Sleeze oozing out of this "Expert" in unreal!!!
😏
The way the guy grabbed the bills in the end while saying “umm…for a $1000…” made Rick think he about to lose a deal😂
Rick missed an easy joke. He coulda said, "The way he picked up those bills...I thought he was HISTORY!"
"Let me call my buddy." -Rick.. When he gets arrested
Never, never sell your coins or bills to a pawn shop
Even If you're desperate for spending CASH ??
You can always just take the pawn shop loan option also if you're willing to PAY the interest and fees to get your property back ..
So then do what exactly? If you have valuable jewellery, coins or bills you're trapped because you're in a highly specialized industry with "theoretical" value and if you're a layperson, what are you gonna do? Ebay? You won't even be able to describe what you have properly. I agree the pawn shop won't give you top dollar. But what is the other option?
@@kurtanglerookieyear Being an educated seller and not a chump.
Can you tell a me a reason for your statement? Don't leave it hanging
@Sean Donovan ahh good point
I love how so many people think they should get full value from a pawn shop. And it is very rare for a private citizen to get full value from anyone.
Thank you! all this ignorant people in the comment saying they are getting ripoff. You get less money in a pawnshop beacause they give the money to you immediately not tommorow, not next week, not next month, not next year, it's fast money and there is a cost for fast money
Yeah - and this guy got a good deal, IMO. Rick paid him 80% of the appraised value. That’s high for a pawn shop.
The seller. Is so lovable
So much truth in voice
Love you
Plot twist: the “buddies” they always call are paid actors who do a quick google search before the camera cuts back to them
Wow, Rick was actually nice to the seller for once
When is he not nice???
we need more vids daily!!!! Come on pawnstars...
No one should ever tell someone how much they paid for any coins or currency.!!!
Rick did look like dude was going to watlk. Wonder was he going to offer more. Was fun to watch. Great video
Rick heads to the restroom
"I'm not sure what restroom to walk in to i need to ask a buddy of mine "
He takes all the risk.
I'm stunned Rock went so high so early. If they are worth 10K, he usually offers like 5500 then says he's taking all the risk, they ill take years to sell etc
Friend: Rick, how long can you last?
Rick: Best I can do is 20 seconds, not a second more, it's a huge risk.
Mediate this Rick joke wouldve been better if you said
Ricks girlfriend : how long can you last?
Rick : best I can do is 20 seconds, not a second more, I’m taking a huge risk.
it's a huge risk for the prostate*
rick on who wants to be a millionaire:
"I got a friend for this, just let me call him"
"you already used your lifeline"
Honestly I would've got them graded and sold them on ebay. But that is a large cost within its own, I think the 8,500 was actually pretty good
8500$ is actually a good offer, when the dude said they are worth about 10k...but theyre probably worth even more XD Rick just grade the bills and get like 15k or something if hes lucky XD
Never tell Rick, how much you bought something for. I repeat, never.
U SHOULD BE SCARED IF YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED IN A MONTH LOL...
i am just glad he got his money back and then some
That guy was in mood to learn something.. he is learning very nicely
Lol
That may have been the most generous offe, Rick has ever given. I think "HE" wanted them ;)
Man, those are amazing. Even replicas would made me happy.
The replicas are $10 a piece on eBay. They won’t gain value though 😆. They are pretty however.
You just want the Booby Bill
I've never seen U. S. notes like this. They're beautiful!
Lol you won't now because white Americans are a minority now so the new one will have black people on them
*03:04*
"And I thought it was a bunch of naked women on a bill"
I was laughing So Hard at that comment.
You know Rick sold those for way more than $10,000 if he panicked when he pulled the bills away lol
Rick is such a cool boi
I love how the customers tell them how much they paid and later the experts tell them exactly how much they can be sold for which makes me wonder hey maybe Rick could have told them over the phone how much they to set price at
When Rick says let me call my buddy I wonder is someone is gonna say I have a buddy I can call
'' When I seen he started to grab them, I thought he was out the door ''
Rick: 8500 and I’m taking al....
Guy: No buddy, I took all the risk here.

Best advice for all gold and silver pawners:
Tell Rick that you paid a high amount for the thing you're selling , and he will offer you a good deal.
I'm starting to think he played them all like a fiddle and in reality knew a lot about these notes, got them for $2-3k... even that last move was dope he was probably waiting for Rick to say... ok, 8750 or sm
Amazing just an amazing work of art
4:52 "pokerface"
lol Rick could have beer with this guy and chuckle all day long cracking vulgar jokes lol
This guy is the human version of wall street bets
Hold up. You’re engaged, going to get married. And in this crazy time and with all that money you’re spending, you decide to drop 7,500 on collectibles?
Collectibles that you have no interest or knowledge in.
Rick has some real buddies
I have the $1 and the $2… circulated but nice. The $5 is just explosively expensive in any decent condition.
The bank notes are beautiful pieces of art
I just want to tell this guy to not be greedy. He got his money back PLUS an extra thousand! Dude be happy!
4:25
Rick:Hey that's my line
Most people say the final bid price when they say what they won for in an auction. They rarely mention the buyer's premium and taxes so it's totally possible if he bid $7500 he still ended up paying over $8000 for it in the end.
Never tell the person your selling to that you are desperate for money.
this has to be number one for a negotiation video on pawn stars
Even though the grading scale goes up to 70 there are only like 23-24 grades a piece of currency can get not including Epq designations
"A buddy of mine he will be here in couple of minutes" pawn stars
This guy knows more than he is letting on for sure.
Rick called the school mate of the old man to valuate the certificates.
That ended up being a good deal for everyone.
This note is worth your wedding
“Electricity is the dominate force in the universe”
Strong, Weak, and Gravity: hold my beer
1:05 - never tell anyone what you paid for it. or lie to them. it's none of their business when they're the ones trying to buy it
Turns my gut to see people get robbed in this show
The grade on that paper money looks good halfway through
Mr. Brown and Art Money got along famously.
Rick knows they are worth just a bit more and probably knows someone who wants them.
The guy who looked briefly probably gave the minimum of what they are worth, if graded 55 or over like Rick said could be worth up to $25,000.
The buddy whistles every time he talks
Putting art on money is something they should do now.
In England I think we still have coins in circulation older than those 😂! Ok not quite but America is a baby really! There’s a school not far from me built in 1440 and and when building a road not far away they dug up an entire roman settlement from like 200AD or something and then there’s stone henge that’s about 5000bc lol! Geez when I was a kid I hit a wasp in the garden with a sea side spade and hit a coin from 1901 in the mud 😂! And I think my grandads screwdriver set was made in about 1850! It’s crazy to think the village I live in is probably around 10 times older than the actual United States! Comparatively speaking we have “modern architecture” that’s older than America! I think in America any building built pre 1900 is old, here I don’t think we’d even class it as settled into its foundations post 1800’s just yet!
You said it so yourself. America is young and UK is old. So what"s the point? UK is an infant compared to ancient Egypt anyway.
@@dariusramonabengoza4873 ancient egypt is young to. It was 5000 years ago when history first started to be recorded i mean before that wtf was humanity really doing and 5000 years is not that long ago either if everyone lived to be atleast 100 your like the 50th organism of who ever you really descended from..
The only reason he picked them up is to see if you bumped up higher last second 😂 good poker face
Rick is so ruff with them right off the hop
That 5 is worth more than that. That's why Rick was so nervous.
This guy give rick a mini heart attack 🤣
The seller used Rick's "taking all the risk" card.
He got more than what he paid for. Win win and a happy fiancée/wife.
I can't believe the seller was stupid anuff to say how he paid for em. What a square dude!
"Hey do you have a change for $100 bill?"
Rick: the best thing i can do is $12
Do u have a friends man? Ur pretty annoying, you're the loser🤙🏻
Never, ever tell Rick what you paid.
I'm surprised that Rick went that high. Usually he sticks to around 60% of the expert's retail price.
Banknotes are highly collectible and don't take up a lot of space. He probably sold them really quickly.
@@DukeJames Ahh, ok. Yeah, a small footprint and a quick turnover is worth paying up for. Good point.
