My brain gives out ungodly amounts of serotonin trying to calculate how much ressources that tech will give you for free, not to mention the oil boost which is permanent And in the lategame if you have like productivity 100 it just gets absolutely ridicolous, thats also very fun Honestly adding the infinite mining productivity techs as a lategame goal was one of the best decisions the devs ever made

i remember getting my first spidertron. loveing it running around and ran far away created an new base for fun. Then the update with " acid attack slows you" came out with me being stuck 10-20 min walk from main base with bitters EVERYWHERE... not fun.

We've been very nervous and excited at different moments, fearful for when the defenses has lacked and frustrated with you as time progresses and materials seems to disappear to no end. Seeing this utter destruction was like eating a stress-reducing pill and just giving this almost 15 minutes long feeling of complete satisfaction. I discovered re-optimizing Power Armor MKII for use in a tank. I’ve never gotten to Spidertron, but I think I’d have discovered the same mechanic for that, too, so this isn’t a huge puzzle spoiler. You really got them this time!
I remember having a fleet of spider trons equipped with an unreasonable amount of laser defenses, in my vanilla coop world. it was arguably better than artillery. Coupled with a repair spider tron, it was essentially infinite range.
Spidertrons are the most satisfying addition to any game ever. You could tell by how much fun this German is having! Good thing about it is you have a free light defense and offense so small expansions don't make you waste any resources. Only when behemoths come in you'll start wasting lots on repairing the spidertron and making rockets. Though nuclear rockets are really not worth the risk as they can kill you in one wrong move and make some lag.

Watching that was cathartic as fck! Feel so good after watching that XD hopefully that area north of your base ends up being encompassed by water completely, once cleared out wouldn't be a problem, which would releave a lot of the preasure off your defenses :D
Okay. Now, THAT amount of rampaging trough bitter nests with your newest and most powerful weapon yet cleared out a significant chunk of biters so you'd finally get the resources you require... But your challenge isn't over yet it seem. Because in your wake of destruction, you also boosted the Biter evolution past the 90% mark... Meaning the bitters will now have a bit of a new weapon as well... I'm looking forwards to the next episode, and how you and Ben the Spidertron will handle this next challenge. ^^

I only exclusively use spidertrons for this exact purpose. Mechanized exoskeleton to get my get my 20 personal lazers into biter camps.
