The Bill and Jon Lovitz podcast was some of the most brutally hilarious put downs ever, as Jon said “You’ve met your match”

Love Burr but that was 1st time tried listening to his pod (which kinda knew wasnt his norm episode) and was hysterical but also noticed Burr was kind of helping Lovitz who's not nearly as sharp and set himself up occassionally as an target for Jon to hammer down own (I considered very respectful)

It was so good - was hoping JokeWrld old cover it. That “chat” was amazing and more people need to see how these comedians chats used to be before all the generation of the “nice” comedians were. Green room was another good example of this.
Same thing goes for the first end of the world podcast. That shit was pure gold at the time. Not sure if it holds up
He’s so great. People take him the wrong way and think he’s mad but I’ve met people like this and they’re usually the sweetest people ever. You just have to laugh and take jabs back or let it roll off your back.
He would talk shit on you all day and then take you out to dinner.

Bill Burr roasting Jim Gaffigan the last time he was on the Monday Morning Podcast was a good one. IMHO Bill Burr is the greatest comedian alive.
I saw Burr early in his career at at a small club on the north shore of Boston during a big snowstorm. Crowd was like only 30 people and 3 or 4 other comedians were sitting at the bar. First thing he said when he got up was this sux and he was gonna work on some new jokes and f with the crowd that bothered to showed up. He went after EVERYONE in the room including the comedians. He had all of us cracking up and it turned into a great night and was a hint that the "philly rant" was in his future. Everyone there knew he was going to be successful. 👏🤣
Bill Burr vs Philadelphia. In 15 minutes Bill went from ultimate underdog and 1 vs 10000 to Philly legend of all time. he gave Philadelphia the greatest tough love ever and we won the world series and super bowl,been to a Stanley cup final since. Thanks BILL!!

The therapy part is so true. Many of my friends project their experiences with therapy onto me like it makes them qualified. Congrats, you talk to a therapist 4 times a week. It doesn't make you one.
