Learning from your videos. just got to know about your channel. way to go Emily. you are the kind of people I want to see on YT and other social media.
Awesome! Go check out @therightwayguy on Instagram, he shared even a few more tips I didn’t put in here. It was super helpful. Good luck on your project!
Interesting trick with doing the hinge side first and the two blocks. But I’m still going to get someone else to hang doors lol. Awesome content that is easy to follow. I hope you have the best day 🫶🏽
Rofl my house is so bad, the home builder broke away up to 3" of drywall around the door openings in many spots. Found that out when I started replacing the doors and trim. 😒 Like... the walls are narrower and wider than the door jams, off level on opposite sides(one side will grow by 3/4" on the left from top to bottom but the right side will grow by 1/2" from bottom to top). I've installed quite a bit of doors as a carpenter but this has been beyond frustrating. Never seen a house built this bad.

Shims are a wonderful tool
Another new video. Awesome job Emily, keep it up.
Thank you!
This was great timing! I was about to replace a few doors, exterior and interior, so this should come in handy. Thanks for the great video! 👍

Hahaha! I totally get it. If you have that option to hire out the parts you don’t love, I can’t blame you for doing so!
