Great video! Those modules are common failures. I don't know why Ford located them on the axle where it's subject to all corrosive salt, water, ect.
yeah seems like it was a week point for electrolysis
Had to have my sonoma towed last year, thought fuel pump went out. Turned out to just be a bad wire connection at the pump.
Hope they found it before they put a new pump in!
Tip a fence wire tool helped me a lot it cuts wire crimps pliers wrench hammer and pick not what it's meant for but it helps with this
I like the outcome. But can't help thinking the method of just looking at it solved the diagnosis quickly. Good job.
Fuel Pump Driver Module…Didn’t know that was even a thing!
Very popular on General Motors vehicles
The topdon is pretty slick. Been using for quick scans and diagnostic for quite a while.
liking it!
Yep, they make great tools. I have a couple other products on my channel.
I have that Topdon Top Scan, it drains my phone battery when watching data but it works great other than that. Good for DIY/ home use.
Thanks for the info

How did that happen to the module? Did the frame get tweaked and that tweaked the module? Did corrosion do it?
corrosion most likely might have beeb bumped to finish it off
Dude, you need a toolbox or a bed cover because all your tools are going to get rained on
In todays electrical/electronic world EVERYTHING is all about the CONNECTIVITY.!
Why dont you flip cars? I feel like you could make some good money doing that rather than these couple hundred dollar jobs
