i love lore related content. The moment you realize how it is pieced together you will love the characters even more. btw since no one mentioned it some of the uniques added in 3.1 had some crazy favor texts that told story's of the ancient giants. Arborix - Through droughts, fires, floods and frost, the ancient giants stand resolute, while deep in the rich, dark earth, their grasp stretches ever farther. comparing it to ancient aztec / maya creation myths, there are some wild similarity's and i bet new Zealand tribes share the same tales. if that's true Kalandra is the seed of creation, and the scourge is her creation the sanctum was a gateway to her. Sanctum even had a room called "Room of Mirrors" - "what you need my little thief is a shattered mirrror" baby Sin and Innocence found the sanctum and rose to godhood by stealing something. Sin probably made a deal with her putting all gods to sleep in exchange to spare Humanity. hit me up if you wanna lift the curtain
Thank you so much for making these videos! I know most of this lore already but I love hearing your dramatic telling if it! Well done and please keep making more.

One of the main draws for me in POE (on top of the complexity, build variety) is the universe and lore. It's dark, grim and just so good
I completely agree. I'm quite excited to see where they take the story/campaign in PoE 2.

Yeah, you're probably right. GGG pulls from a variety of myths and pantheons for their stories, specifically Polynesian/Roman mythology.
Sex, lies,...damn, she didn't complete the trifecta (videotape)! :/ Also I wish we had a picture of what she looked like in life, as a human.
I'm thinking a Lolth-like form.
