I bought the 480 pack but I’m a longtime player. I would recommend you don’t invest so heavily unless you’re a millionaire. Wait until the game comes out. Play it and see if you like it, then think about if you want to invest more, there will always be supporter packs and they will be releasing a lot of them over the many leagues to come. It’s kind of you to support a developer like GGG because they deserve it, but if you aren’t even a fan (yet) maybe get the 60 usd / 100 usd supporter pack and then upgrade after playing a while. :)

I have to say, the entire PoE streamer community with GGG at the center is quite special. GGG's openness and honesty about the development, combined with your efforts to bring everyone together, it really makes PoE2's launch a momentous occasion.
Honesty and sincerity go a long way, and it shows. Warframe's community is similar, and I think the Larian supporters too. It's nice to see people band together over the same thing, but each for a different reason. Some are PoE fans cause Diablo screwed them over, others are fans because they're on the hype train... at the end of the day, the only thing that matters, is that we're all here together to support GGG.

I just started playing poe1 , Idk why I went through 6 seasons of Diablo without ever trying poe1, was scary but with pob and a build guide it’s been such a blast
Fiancé bought me a key for my birthday, I’ve never felt this excited for a game, I’ve been playing Poe since ambush cannot wait for poe2 I am for sure at least taking a day of pto I’ve got the food/water prepped time to step back into no life zone(to a degree) for a couple days

Thanks for answering my question I hadn't asked yet... PoE will keep NSFW content like the statues & quad-titziri styled characters. It's not a particularly huge or important change, but it's an often overlooked aspect in the game. Glad to know they're not shying away from their original theme/ art style for stuff like that. No compromise in the storytelling & visual representation... much respect.

I was watching someone going through the ascendency nodes from that video where Mysterious Lineage was identified and where the mouse was didn't appear to line up with any of the nodes in the ascendency tree. I might be wrong, but there's a chance this is somewhere on the skill tree. If so, that's even more insane.

Hey I have a question. When you use Acendancy. Do you get 1 poer character, or can you unlock them all, and you can only use one at a time. Or is it one per weapon??? Is it just for each charcater you choose? I was never clear on how this is limited.

Ancestrally boosted is Fist of War support not the Chieftain Ascendancy. Which is better since it multiplies your hit and it is not a random hit from a minion
Hello! Where is the Shadow and Duelist class? I visit the new PoE 2 website and i see at the class overview, and there is the Gladiator and the Assasin instead other two...
Probably won't be able to watch the interview live but I'd really like to know if we can put skills that don't come from gems (like ascendancy skills) into meta gems. For example, if I play Chronomancer, can I put the skill that resets my position, life and mana as well as the skill that resets my cooldowns into the same meta gem to trigger them simultaneously when the meta gem triggers.

Hey Tri, love your content :) I assume you have a ready list of questions for your interview with Jonathan, but incase you have a chance, could you ask about character names? We know about the number indentificators added to account names, and I'm wondering if this change will make it so, that we don't need to have unique character names anymore?
They fully deserve all the attention they are getting. GGG does have some flaws, but they are heavily outweighed by the good that they have done. The transparency with the community, the novel systems and quality gameplay, the fair pricing model and the condemnation of bought power, project leads that actually play the game! This should be the gold standard for gaming. The relationship between community and developer shouldn't be antagonistic like it so often is.
9:05 is insane, hope you are right, something primordial would be gnarly - you have been right sometimes so I can see it for some reason as well - maybe it can even take form of any monster in the game and use their kits + improved variation of those base skills and new ones that relate to it

I know I'll be playing in a party my first go around. I'm thinking either a Titan or Blood Mage. Life stacking. Then taking the node (forgot name) that gives you 1% life regen but gives all allies 2% life regen based on your max life, not their's. Then maybe armor shred or curses depending on which ascendancy I take. I want to go into it as an unkillable support.
Quick note, every second attack will not make faster attack speed better than slow attack speed, just spread out the damage more. If you on the other hand had cooldown on it, you would hit a cap on speed.
I wish someone in one of these interviews would ask about the lore. I know almost nobody cares about lore but it seems glaring that they have completely changed the story behind a lot of mechanics
It's so wholesome to see this happen. With all the drama and bs going on in gaming lately, GGG is one of the few studios who show the industry that simply putting the work and passion in to make a great game is what makes - guess what - a great game with great success. While the company who inspired GGG to start going on this PoE journey wastes their time with 90$ mounts and meaningless posts on Twitter, these guys go to their office and work to make the best game they can. And it shows. Ginormous marketing budgets, "DEI" shenanigans, elaborate predatory monetization schemes, handholding and dumbing down... all of that stuff is quite simply a giant waste of money. Just make a great game and people will pay you good money for it. GGG deserve all the success. And I hope they absolutely smash all of their current player records with the EA launch. Even if it means we end up having to wait for the server infrastructure to catch up as people come in to play what will undoubtedly be the best ARPG of all time. It will show the rest of the western gaming industry that they need to stop wasting their time and money with all the sideshow and put the focus back to what we all come here for: Immersive, fun, engaging, challenging games.
Final boss/tower dude is going to be a precursor boss. They keep mentioning that the Atlas/oldest civ is the Precursors. I'm hoping it will be "Ahn - the First King" - all the equipment from PoE 1 matches the aestetic of the Tunnels/Tower and that kind of thing, as well as it being an "Ancient Civilisation" etc.
Izaro possibly being the Endgame Uber Boss would be so f*ing great. I hate Lab, but love him. His lines are incredible and him with PoE2 animations and AI cannot not be an super great Fight
if the first shot mechanic works on enemies not on full life, witch hunter may be the best extreme archaeology character. If it doesn't, it still depends on how many source of culling strike there are, but this character will probably make short work of white mobs without investing in AOE and can focus most of its skill slots on boss killing. it needs a reliable source of upfront damage to break concentration other than its first shot ability to be consistent, but having a chance of chunking the boss and breaking the concentration at the start of the fight means some boss runs will be easier

For Culling Strike, i don't know about the other rarities but for bosses(uniques) the threshold is 5% for culling strike to take effect.

Hey I have a question. When you use Acendancy. Do you get 1 poer character, or can you unlock them all, and you can only use one at a time. Or is it one per weapon??? Is it just for each charcater you choose? I was never clear on how this is limited.
Question for your interview - can you ask if we still have additional power/endurance/frenzy charges on the passive tree?

Ancestrally boosted is Fist of War support not the Chieftain Ascendancy. Which is better since it multiplies your hit and it is not a random hit from a minion

Probably won't be able to watch the interview live but I'd really like to know if we can put skills that don't come from gems (like ascendancy skills) into meta gems. For example, if I play Chronomancer, can I put the skill that resets my position, life and mana as well as the skill that resets my cooldowns into the same meta gem to trigger them simultaneously when the meta gem triggers.

We know about the number indentificators added to account names, and I'm wondering if this change will make it so, that we don't need to have unique character names anymore?
Any information about loot filters? Will they be mandatory like in poe 1 or will they be just an extra?
They fully deserve all the attention they are getting. GGG does have some flaws, but they are heavily outweighed by the good that they have done.
The transparency with the community, the novel systems and quality gameplay, the fair pricing model and the condemnation of bought power, project leads that actually play the game!
This should be the gold standard for gaming. The relationship between community and developer shouldn't be antagonistic like it so often is.

I'd imagine that with increased life no longer coming from the tree as it was before, the difference between more and increased life might not be as drastic.

That extra inventory slot node on the ascendency should be a bandit reward option instead.
I know I'll be playing in a party my first go around. I'm thinking either a Titan or Blood Mage. Life stacking. Then taking the node (forgot name) that gives you 1% life regen but gives all allies 2% life regen based on your max life, not their's. Then maybe armor shred or curses depending on which ascendancy I take. I want to go into it as an unkillable support.

Quick note, every second attack will not make faster attack speed better than slow attack speed, just spread out the damage more. If you on the other hand had cooldown on it, you would hit a cap on speed.
Can u ask jonathan, why they removed quicksilver flask, onslaught, and spammable movement skills? Moving will feel soo much slower😢
I wish someone in one of these interviews would ask about the lore. I know almost nobody cares about lore but it seems glaring that they have completely changed the story behind a lot of mechanics

I dont know about culling strike. Its just 5% on bosses... almost nothing. Not worth gettimg it, unless the node is behind an op node
It's so wholesome to see this happen.
With all the drama and bs going on in gaming lately, GGG is one of the few studios who show the industry that simply putting the work and passion in to make a great game is what makes - guess what - a great game with great success.
While the company who inspired GGG to start going on this PoE journey wastes their time with 90$ mounts and meaningless posts on Twitter, these guys go to their office and work to make the best game they can. And it shows.
Ginormous marketing budgets, "DEI" shenanigans, elaborate predatory monetization schemes, handholding and dumbing down... all of that stuff is quite simply a giant waste of money. Just make a great game and people will pay you good money for it.
GGG deserve all the success. And I hope they absolutely smash all of their current player records with the EA launch. Even if it means we end up having to wait for the server infrastructure to catch up as people come in to play what will undoubtedly be the best ARPG of all time. It will show the rest of the western gaming industry that they need to stop wasting their time and money with all the sideshow and put the focus back to what we all come here for: Immersive, fun, engaging, challenging games.

Final boss/tower dude is going to be a precursor boss. They keep mentioning that the Atlas/oldest civ is the Precursors.
I'm hoping it will be "Ahn - the First King" - all the equipment from PoE 1 matches the aestetic of the Tunnels/Tower and that kind of thing, as well as it being an "Ancient Civilisation" etc.
Izaro possibly being the Endgame Uber Boss would be so f*ing great. I hate Lab, but love him. His lines are incredible and him with PoE2 animations and AI cannot not be an super great Fight
if the first shot mechanic works on enemies not on full life, witch hunter may be the best extreme archaeology character. If it doesn't, it still depends on how many source of culling strike there are, but this character will probably make short work of white mobs without investing in AOE and can focus most of its skill slots on boss killing.
it needs a reliable source of upfront damage to break concentration other than its first shot ability to be consistent, but having a chance of chunking the boss and breaking the concentration at the start of the fight means some boss runs will be easier
500k on Steam, don't forget this ones also launching cross-play on consoles. It's going to be massive.
