I make thyme tincture and I have never heard of red thyme... I make several herbal tinctures from my garden ❤

Actually, Red Thyme is a name given to a certain type of Thymus vulgaris essential oil, it is the "unfiltered" version, white thyme has been processed, filtered a bit more, they are the same plant. Good for you for making your own tincture!
