Ive been practicing launches in the hasbro as its all i have, it has very similar tech you can do. I get the impression from the video and comments that people dont think hasbro is as deep/quality of a game. I think thats just a misconception due to the higher speed and violent nature of the arena juxtaposed against what they are used too seeing with the slower pace of TT and the techs seemingly not working or exsisting. Then they dismiss it. Just different techs and strats but imo equally as deep.
Yo, anything can be as deep as you want to go with it dude. I’m pretty sure I say throughout that I haven’t figured out the best tech for it yet and that I’ll keep testing in there. You’re not wrong though, it does get dismissed a lot by people who have access to both stadiums and that’s fair, that’s just down to preferences. Most people playing in TT stadiums won’t ever see a hasbro stadium at an event though.
I make competitive testing content on Tiktok, exclusively using Hasbro-only format for X, after spending tons on TT-burst era. I do it, because it's what people have access to in my area. Most people here don't have the money to import hobby goods from Japan all the time, myself included. But, I constantly have to defend myself from folks saying it's "not competitive if it's not TT", basically. Elitists are just scared to admit that Hasbro made a good stadium this time around.
That’s awesome you have a page committed to the hasbro stadium. I’ll definitely be doing some testing streams in it to try and keep up with the tech. Don’t listen to the hate, keep doing your thing but also try not to start hating TT 😂
@BladeBeyX That's a fair reminder, lol. I try to keep in mind that it's a vocal minority. There is no hate towards TT at all, I mostly just wish that we had access to the same "competitive" stuff globally on store shelves. But I'm glad to see a content creator give the Hasbro stadium a fair shake and actually acknowledge the differences instead of immediate dismissal. Excellent video, and looking forward to more!
@@CrashHobbyX thanks dude I appreciate you checking it out. I’ll have to find your TikTok when I’m next on! Yeah I wish it was just exactly the same everywhere so we could all be playing the same game
Hasbro stadium is more wild,TT stadium is more control imo,i like both stadiums but i mostly use TT stadium,i prefer the larger opening in the shroud on the TT. Didnt take long for you to conquer the hasbro stadium.
The community is deliberately ignoring the XBS. All tournaments I see use TT. All videos use TT. This works for Americans, however, I'd wager everyone else has a hard time importing TT's stadiums. People should be making more content with the XBS.
My local tournament scene has been only using Hasbro stadiums ever since they came out even though we had perfectly fine TT stadiums that were light years better for battling and skill expression. Wish Hasbro never released this stadium or at least made it much wider like TT because it has definitely cost me in ways it wouldn’t have in a TT stadium.
I don't think creators actually know what they want because most of the issues people have with TT stadium and Japan meta are solved by XBS. In addition the 2Xs is similar to the XBS. This is not to say there are no issues. For example someone above mentioned the opening is narrow which I agree with
As someone who owns both I’ve been wanting to give my own thoughts on it for a while now. The main reason I don’t like the Hasbro stadium as much as the TT stadium is so much of the launch tech and skills is more difficult if not impossible or counterintuitive to use because of the narrowness. Additionally the randomness aspect feels much more prominent where you can get KO’d into the pockets as an attacker just by lightly tapping a WizardRod from the wrong direction which makes using Attack somewhat much more risky and less intuitive in this stadium than TT. Also using higher launch power is more difficult in this stadium because the KO risk is higher. TT stadium gives you more space to strategize and use skill in my opinion.
Another point I should mention is my local tournament scene has been only using Hasbro stadiums ever since they came out even though we had perfectly fine TT stadiums that were light years better for battling and skill expression. Wish Hasbro never released this stadium or at least made it much wider like TT because it has definitely cost me in ways it wouldn’t have in a TT stadium.
I like the Hasbro stadium. I like the Overfinish and Extreme pockets too. They encourage a down and out state rather than your opponent bouncing back in play even if they were legitimately knocked out of a pocket. Folks have been playing with TT stadiums so dedicatedly that grasping the idea of the Hasbro stadium seems "not good" to yall, when really its an entirely different stadium with an entirely different meta and entirely different battle skillset. The Hasbro stadium ensures that "battle" takes place. In the Hasbro stadium there's not much of one blade just circling around the other or attackers missing 2 or 3 times in a row. The Hasbro stadium makes sure there will be contact. The opening is indeed smaller, but you can still tilt launch, snipe launch, and flat launch. The stadium just encourages flat launchin, which again ensures contact in the center. You just can't expect your tilt launches to behave the same way they did in the TT stadium because it is a different stadium. Your tilt launch is going to walk in a different way, so you have to learn in what ways the beys move in this stadium. The center dish is also just a little more concaved; this again encourages contact in the center. I, for one, love these factors. But each stadium (Hasbro, Takara Tomy, Extra Wide, Double Extreme, and Bucket) all have their different pros and cons, so I get it some folks like one over the others. You just gotta approach them differently. And switching up the stadium helps mix up the meta and get players to bring different Beys to the battle. Id honestly like to see a tournament that employs multiple stadiums to battle up through. (I know the Japanese use the Extra Wide in the early rounds then switch to the stabdard TT for semifinals and finals)
That’s only some tournaments they switch up stadiums. It’s not a requirement but is definitely fun. Yeah of course all the stadiums are different and require different strats. I talk about that throughout the video. I have to say though that the hasbro design doesn’t guarantee contact and that just being smaller to “force” battle isn’t really a positive in that sense. X is a great game with a wide variety of launch tech in the TT stadium. I’d love to see some more technical launches pulled off in hasbros stadium.
I appreciate that the stadiums seem so similar until you put them into practice and that they both encourage different metas. My only gripe is that the Hasbro dish makes it harder for me to use Point specifically because the angle is harder to nail down
@@BladeBeyX I use Orb on Sting Unicorn 5-60 in my Hasbro stadium because it's a pet combo, but it's probably better on Phoenix in it. The deeper dish gives it more movement than I see in the TT stadium
@@antwer1 I don’t think the deeper dish gives it more movement but the narrower tip means it won’t scrape as much. The TT allows you to place orb in a corner or get it travelling around the outside to avoid getting hit or to set up your own hits. US5-60O is a great combo in any stadium though!
