This is the most important fix and video on RUclips for Accent owners. This issue has given these transmissions a terrible reputation. I found WITT years ago for this very reason. \early in the internet days. \Did I do the assembly wrong? Not sure but now that the stupid thing has failed again, I 'm sure it will be correct this time. Thanks. PS. that cost of this kit has gone up maybe 4 bucks in the years that have past since my first purchase. Very respectable.
Did the repair as described. I had to replace the output shaft as well because the splines were in terrible shape. $45.00 for the output shaft apprx. $100.00 for the entire repair, oil, filter, pan gasket, repair kit. I have since put about 3000 miles and car runs great! Thanks for the video!
that's awesome I love to hear success stories
Hey Mark do you have the part nuber for the output shaft?
Got my parts on Fri and did the repair job today. I only went for a short test drive but all seems well again. Thanks again for making this video.
Jim G Awesome man!! Glad to hear that everything went good and glad that the video helped you out.
Thanks for the video about this! My partners Accent was having the “incorrect 4th gear ratio” code come up and this fixed it. The transmission shifts like butter now!!! I can’t thank you enough for this tutorial
It works .The man knows what he is talking about. In two hours I was rolling. Great video ,super helpful, and just $17 and elbow grease to install .Thanks
This is awesome man and thank you so much for sharing.
Is 2 hours labor? Mine has same problem! Hyunday accent 2005
Very informative great video! Just bought my first car today ( an accent 2004 ) from this dude and drove it 45 mins home and within that time the check engine came on. At first i thought the guy screwed me over which he did but whats done is done so used the diagnostics tool to see what was up and got the P0734 watched this video and the fix doesn't seem to bad thanks!
Steven Bowen Thanks for the comment man. How did your repair go?
your a pocket saver man your Team Rock's man I just order the same kit for my 02 Accent GS and fix it my self, wow the kit was very affordable all in all I spent only $17.50 for the kit plus shipping it saved me $686.00 from the dealership wow that is a win win in my book, Muck thanks! William Benson NC.
+WILLIAM DIAZ awesome
Thanks for the video! My teenage sons and I were able to fix a 2002 Hyundai Accent using your video as a reference. We did also do the bushing since it looked worn; We tapped the old one out with a screwdriver, and fortunately I had a rod that fit to tap in the bushing the correct distance. It took us a little over 6 hours. Doing this fix, new input and output sensors, and changing the fluid and filter fixed the P0717 P0732 P0733 and PO734 codes for me.
I did it yesterday...All seems good no check engine been dealing with this problem for two years.....thank you so much for posting this video...
matthew perez No problem at all man!! Glad to hear that you had success with this job. Its guys like yourself that are the reason that I started this channel and make these videos. If you haven't already subbed, please do so and if you ever have any problems with your car and need some help, just let me know.
JamieJones TheCarMan Thank You!
Hi Matthew, if you can help me out, can you tell me if you had this problem over two years, but your car was running or not, cause I just had this problem, change transmission fluid and saw the shredded bearing on the magnets, car is running fine but with check engine light on it, just asking because want to know if I have few more days to fix this problem. Thank you.
orlandodec91 the car was running when I bought it like two years ago check engine light came on about 2 months after that..i changed the transmission twice before I saw this video..
I'm in deep gratitude for your quick response Matthew, I will seek immediate attention to the problem, and thanks a lot JamieJones TheCarMan for making a Video like this.
Glad this problem is so easy to take care of. Ill be fixing mine in the coming weekend. Thanks for the vid.
StangCrazy79 No problem at all man. Be sure to let us know how it goes for you and if you have any questions or need some help along the way just let me know.
+JamieJones TheCarMan Took me a few months to find the time to do this. 6-8 hrs total. Wasnt too bad at all the reinstallation of the motor mounts were the only pain. As said by a few there is still a click noise that started with the bearing grenading. It shifts in and out of OD no problem. This vid totally cut the fix time it would have taken me. Thanks again!
Just fixed mine yesterday with the kit. Thanks for sharing the information!! Helped me out a lot.
Thanks for the video. I watched it last week and did everything you said to do. Car works great. 👍👍👍
Love to hear that
this guy is the best like Scotty Kilmer.. thanks and..God Bless
Doing this tonight, thanks so much for this video Jamie, saw those pieces in my pan and freaked out thinking my transmission was dying. This video gave me hope and I'm doing it now. Ready to reassemble. BTW you do need to take that motor mount above the tranny out so its out of the way, but if you take the battery tray out too (two bolts) you can get to those nuts on the top of the cover without dropping the engine any.
It worked! Thanks again for the video. You just helped save me a lot of money!
+simpleseajay awesome need anything let me knowand good job
I have a mint condition 2000 Hyundai accent I bought new and have taken excellent care of it throughout ..its got 156.000miles on original transmission ive changed the fliud 6 times ..even put an external trans cooler on it for added life ...I noticed my overdrive on the interstate takes longer to go in gear...iMAY NEED THIS KIT EVENTUALLY ??THANKS FOR THE VIDEO>>THIS WILL SAVE ME A TON WHEN THE TIME COMES>>>GREAT VIDEO THANKYOU GUYS!!!!
David, very happy to help and please let me know if you need any help at all once you get started on this project if this is the route that you end up taking on your car. Thanks for the feedback!! We really appreciate your support.🙂
@@jamiejonesthecarman thank you you all seem like sincere people,,,,thankyou for your support..i plan on keeping my car ..trust me when I say this /new cars are going to get even more expensive and crappier,,,,/cheaper quality ...I also own a mint 1968 gtcs California special 390 4 spd mustang//very rare car and a mint 1984 mercury grand marquis coupe...ls these are easy to work on and they don't make them like they used to....thanks for the great video again///
I've been driving with O/D turned off for 6 months! Your telling me this is all I needed to do? I've already ordered the kit! Will tell you how it goes! Lost the house/garage I made the Volvo video in or I would have prolly just rebuild the whole thing. I'm not a Hyundai guy but times are rough!
How do you turn it off?
@@lukegore5657 on the side of the shifter there's a button, pressing it should turn on the light in the dash that states O/D off, the car no longer shifts into 4th gear therefore it can't slip in 4th gear and won't get stuck in limp mode
Hey! so it worked! thank you so much for this video i did exactly what you did and the car is running like straight out the dealer! that baring was completely gone and laying on the magnets like yours i also went ahead and replace the trans input and output sensors as well 40$ at autozone, since i had it opened already i went ahead and changed the filter and oil man idk why we pay so much for them todo it for us when you can save a lot with proper tools thanks again for the video i saved "1500" was my quote on aprox 100$ in total for everything i spent to fix it right thanks again!
+Moises Vasquez that's awesome good job
hey ive been having this exact same problem on my gf car we got the parts! as you said and thanksgiving morning its our project we narrowed everything out to that wish us luck! ill follow up on this comment and tell you how it goes! pray for us lol thanks man you gave us hope :)
+Moises Vasquez , yep 1500 saved
Awesome video man. I looked up there web, and it is the same. I ordered up the kit and will get to it. Thanks again for the huge savings.
@10:09 That part that looks like a ring #041 (on the book) Did you have to push/ pressure that part in to the spline ?
Excellent information. Thanks so much for making this video. I'm in the process of dealing with this exact issue on my 03' Accent. From what I have found in my research there is a longer splined shaft that is available that is supposed to help prevent this problem from occurring. 3.1in. vs. the stock 2.9in. I have not ordered my parts from WIT yet but will be doing so within the next few days.
Jim G that's awesome Jim I'm glad I can help you it was really hard to find information on it that's why I went ahead and posted the video , and how much does a spline cost I didn't even know they offered it
JamieJones TheCarMan Thanks for the video.
thank you i just replace the overdrive bearing abd car shift real nice thank you again it only cost me 15 dollars the part
04 Hyundai accent same code P0734. Hard shift from 1st to 2nd, would not shift passed 2nd and would not return to 1st when coming to a stop unless vehicle is shut off. thanks for the video, it was excellent. exact same damage in trans. Now just waiting on kit from WITTRANS.
i have same Gearbox A4AF3 when engine is cold Drive can shift 1,2.3,4 after 30min become hot it Lock only on 3Rd Gear even stop also in 3Rd gear.. i need to shut Off engine wait a while and Start Engine the Gearbox Run Normal on shift 1,2,3,4 but after another 15min it stuck again on 3Rd gear need to Restart Engine.. Have any Idea
thanks for sharing that was very helpful and anyone with whatever I will definitely appreciate it once again we appreciate it
Mine shifts way better now, but still no overdrive. I really thought it was fixed until I took it on the freeway and still will not shift into high. Great video. Just my luck it did'nt work for me.
+Demonic Soul Man, sorry to hear that. Wish that it would have completely fixed yours too. Thanks so much for the feedback.
did you ever get it fixed? I did the same and it didn't fix it for me either. wondering what else could be wrong
u guys did great, thanks its a great video
Manuel Figueroa Thanks so much for the feedback, Manuel!! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video.
great post thanks for your time and commitment, congratulations, best regards
+Eduardo Ortiz Thank you very much, Eduardo.
Did the repair. It worked but the transmission was still noisy. Removed the transmission and pulled it apart. Two more issues were found (857) wavy washer had cracked and fallen out of place behind the shell kickdown drum. This caused the splines in the drum to wear out causing it wobble. Not sure if all this is related to the overdrive gear but I have a feeling it is. There are several other thrust bearing in the drive train and they're fine. I will note small oil holes in the main transmission shaft terminate inside the (675) overdrive gear spline. They look to be blocked which would cause the lamina bearing inside that spline (comes in overdrive repair kit) to wear out. That creates excess play (play should be less than .032" side play) and would effect the overdrive thrust bearing. To clear that blockage you would need to pull out the brass cap at the end of the main shaft - clean - and replace.
My conclusion now having gone through this transmission is this overdrive repair kit is a small bandage on a much bigger wound. It is only a short term fix and doesn't address the underlying causes.
2 thumbs up for both of you. i have been looking at this for a very long time for my accent in Aus. i will find out of WITTRANS deliver parts in Australia or have another parts store like this in Aus. i will certainly try to attempt to do it. i have been running without OD for last 5-6 years.
Good information, thanks because I'm having that problem with my 2006 Hyundai Acccent.
Just found the video, and ordered the parts, also have to change the drum and the shaft, they're too worn, and in my case, the bearing is still good, but still ordered the part!
Thanks for the info ....I had the same car with the same problem. Waiting for the part to come in so as to resolve the problem Thanks AGAIN MAN
Kraig Le Fevre No problem, Kraig!! Do me a favor and tell us about your experience and if this fixes yours. I always like to hear from my viewers and subscribers to pass along tips that might be helpful to others.
JamieJones TheCarMan car now wont even move.......will have to tear it apart again and figure out what went wrong
JamieJones TheCarMan kept watching the video over and over and noticed that you may have put the spline in backwards. The W.I.T. catalog shows it going in long way spline into the O.D. hub and short spline going into the transmission. I believe that is why the transmission does not engage at all now. Will tear apart and keep you updated.
Kraig Le Fevre Hey Kraig, how are things going with your repair? My repair did fine so anxious to see if you were able to get yours fixed.
Great video Jamie!
yes sometimes you get lucky and it's a cheap fix
Great video outstanding
After doing the repair did you have any more issues? Or did you have to eventually rebuilt or swap out for another transmission?
thanks for the video
my issue is p0734 4th gear how can solve the problem
My parts just arrived:D I'm about to work on it now. Brb.
Did you have a clicking noise above 20mph under load prior to getting the codes? Noise goes away in neutral. I ordered kit and hope it solves my issues. Mine is throwing no error codes, just making a clicking noise. Not pinion or axles
Hello I have a car CRETA 1.6 CRDI equipped with an automatic gearbox A6MF1. Can I replace it with an automatic gearbox A6MF2 and what is the difference between them?
hey thanks for posting this video I used it and it worked great. I am now getting a p0733 and a p0732 code after about a year I was wondering if you could give your opinion on what this could mean I need to do
I have a work car it’s a 1998 Hyundai Elantra Wagon. I just lost 2nd gear and reverse just a couple of hours ago. I will scan the computer to check code. But could this be the same symptoms
hi, I have code p0734 car slips gears, I check the trans oil pan, no metal shavings were found, wondering if I should still try the kit fix or could there be another issue?
I put this kit in my 2007 Kia Rio after 3 months the bearing exploded again. I do remember putting the shim on but the OD HUB seemed a little too worn for the shim do you think putting two shims in place would be fine what I mean is two shims then the bearing then the cup on top thank you!!
not sure ask wit if they have a known fix
Great video. I've got a 2000 tiburon with a p0734. I'm hoping I can fix it now.
mag steel that's awesome report back and let me know how it works out thanks so much if I can be of any assistance let me know
JamieJones TheCarMan I ordered the specified part and did the job yesterday. Some observations.
The instructions were all clear. I got bit by the bushing though, which was the one part not changed in the video.
I used two floor jacks to pivot the engine and transmission. I think it would be hard to get the motor mounts back in without two jacks.
The engine side has to be raised a lot to get clearance to remove the cover. It would be good to have help from someone to raise/lower while some one else is trying to get the cover off. I didn't want to raise it any more than necessary.
In my case the needle bearing was missing completely without a trace. No idea what happened to it. Also there were no magnets in the pan and I could not find any to buy on a Sunday so it had to stay that way.
Removing the old bushing was easy. The old one seemed to be a 'split ring', it seems unlikely it broke with a perfect perpendicular cut. I froze the new one in some ATF, headed the spline a bit, and then drove the busing into place using a socket. I checked the fit and feel, it appeared to be fully in place and felt smooth.
My problems started when I started the reassembly. I just could not seem to get the hub to go all the way into place. Eventually I figured the problem had to be the splined shaft was not going in all the way because of the bushing. After hassling with it for some time I finally drove the new bushing out and put the old one back. The splined shaft slid fully into place with no problem and I was able to proceed.
After reassembly the transmission was shifting and no codes were reported. Hopefully it will stay that way. If it fails again it could be the old bushing or any dirt/grit that got introduced into things while I was repeatedly inserting and removing the hub and shaft. Unfortunately the vaseline used to hold parts together holds grit nicely too.
Thanks again for the really helpful video.
mag steel Glad to hear that things went pretty good for you with just those few items giving you a bit of a problem and very happy to have you report back that the transmission problem and code are now gone. I appreciate all of the feedback too. :-)
can I take it to you to fix mine?
I can't find the gasket to seal the transmission cap... What did you use?
Yes I would like to know also.
anything for a p0035 like that? great video
The for the video. It was very educational for me. Please Keep uploading new videos if you can on automatic transmission. Just like to know where can i get the repair manual that you have it. Thanks. I appreciated your work
what gear should the car be in when conducting this repair??
Would this kit work for a 2002 Hyundai Accent?
I need help i bought a 2002 Hyundai accent the engine light was on so I search the code and it was yhe camshaft sensor I replaced the camshaft sensor then the engine light came nack on the transmission started slipping n not shifting into gear i searched the code again and got the torque converter now its not shift above 1st gear and losing power
Good video boss. Can I know what size is that shim since mine gone missing
For the life of me I cannot remember but you can call whatever it takes transmission and I’ll hook you up
You can download the 370MB 2020-2021 catalog at -- www.wittrans.com/catalog
On page 792 of the catalog (page number is at bottom corner) the very last part number 42220LK is the kit shown in the RUclips video. The shim included in the kit has a part # 42220LA (two lines above the kit #). The part description on that line says the shim is 0.015 inch thick with an Internal Diameter of 1.270 inch. The Outside Diameter is not given but I'm guessing it's close to 1.6 inch which is 95.8% of the diameter of the bearing with race (PN 42220L that comes with the kit and found three lines above the kit #.)
First of all, great vid and I hope it's as straight forward as you make it sound. Last week had to pick my daughter up cause her 04 Hyundai accent crapped out on side of the road. Got it home ran the codes and sure enough I have the po734. So after a few beers and some choice words I searched and found this video. I've ordered the kit listed in the description, watched the video extensively and am going to attempt to tackle it this weekend. I'm sure hoping it's as easy as you make it look in this video. I've never worked on a transmission before but am pretty handy and not rich so $20 vs $1500? I'll give it a shot! I'm sure it's gonna take me longer but How long would you say it took you from start to finish?? Just curious
do you know if that would be the same part that i would need for my 2001 tiburon, the 42220LK?
Erin Brewer you know to be perfectly honest I have not ran across this with a Hyundai Tiburon however all you need to do is call whatever it takes transmissions and they would could verify the particular part numbers and stuff good luck if you need any help please feel free to let me know
Have a link were you got the stuff?
Can you explain how fixing this bearing and shim will prevent the transmission from slipping. I just got this code and am thinking about attempting this fix with my dad who is a mechanic.
+Jamie Buchanan it allows you to engage the overdrive
Does this fix po734 and po732?
I have problem with my car it's 2007 hyundai santa fe and the problem is with transmission stock on 3..should be same problem??thanks
👍 nice information
Hi what is the part number on the thing that broke or name mine is the same
I have a Hyundai 2005 and it has this code how likely would it be this and not the whole transmission? I tried looking for the part but haven't found it online, any help?
Great video. Very informative. I found this chasing a speed sensor issue. I have a 2004 Accent, lost the speedo,.replaced sensor, lost speedo again within 15k. I have a grinding noise emiting from the area since the speedo went out.. I beleive its part of the old sensor broken off inside the cover moving around and probably pooched the new replacement sensor. I am assuming my trans is the same as the one in the vid and has the cover that can be removed in the same fashion. I would appreciate your thoughts on if i may be on the right track.
greenmeanh1 yes the same procedure would apply to you and if you've got a noise coming from there you may have exactly the same problem as this video is going over, and if you're there anyway changing the sensors I would definitely change out the other parts but you're definitely on the right path
JamieJones TheCarMan Thanks so much for the fast response. I really appreciate your comments. Means a Lot.. Regards Kevin.
greenmeanh1 No problem at all and I'm here to help however I can.
I have a 3.3 motor is it the same
I just got my P0732, P0734 codes in my '03 Tiburon 2.7V6(GK) w/60k on the OD. Any ideas if this may be related? Doing my homework before getting bent over. Great video!
+blackbusiness7 it is a very common problem across all the Hyundai transmission so I would definitely keep my eyes open and see if that's what's wrong
Is the 04 Accent Gt the same transmission?
Can I use this kit in my ´04 hyundai accent?
Bought an 07 accent with 134k. previous owner NEVER changed the fluid. I put new sp-III in it and now it pulls the p0734 and gets stuck in 3rd. But only when it's cold. I'll drop the pan and see what's up.
Thanks for posting this video! My car is shifting like new after this fix. Bought a 2004 Hyundai Accent at an auction, was shifting funny, slipping and not going into overdrive and noticed the check engine light was on. Pulled the code and got a P0734. I researched online and found this video, ordered the kit and put everything together myself. I have a question you may be able to help me with. I notice when I accelerate I hear a clicking/grinding noise only when my foot is on the accelerator, when I take it off, the noise goes away, and it only does this in drive, doesn't do it in park or neutral. I was thinking it had to do with the prior problem because it was doing that before the fix as well but its probably something different. Any suggestions? Thanks aging for the video!
+Gregory Laing HI Gregory, glad to hear that the video helped you do the repair. What you need to do is take your car out on the road, get it up to speed and then shift it to Neutral, turn the ignition off and see if you can hear the grinding noise then. My bet is that you might have a wheel bearing going out. They are famous for doing that on these cars. Let me know what you find out and we'll go from there.
You are a saint and a genius. :-)
Would this work for a 2005 Hyundai accent? I'm having the same po734 code my transmission slips hard and overdrive doesn't really work to good and when I put it in drive it slips hard sometimes but when I turn off the car and turn it on it stops slipping hard when I put it in drive before I drive if that makes sense , anyways yea ,
+geekedmaxx slipping it won't fix , it will fix no over drive issues
JamieJones TheCarMan ok thanks , been doing this for a year , hopefully it'll last another year and a half , because I'm 2800 dollars in debt , I've paid off 1,000 dollars of my debt and it sucks when stuff like this happens to me because all I wanna do is just pay off my debt you Kno
How many miles were on the transmission?
Does this part work on a 2005 Kia spectra?
I have 03 kia sedona with code P0735 which is 5th gear ratio. Can i use the same parts for the repair. please, help .
could very well , pretty cheap fix i would give it a shot
the catalog is showing the spline other way...you did it different. does that affect the function of the transmission?
+bro yo just do it how they have it , safe is better
I have mine pulled apart now I don't even have a bearing there is that something new or was that already in the car?
Do u have alot of loose bearings in the pan ? Because it usually gets destroyed
Yeah its all shredded up in the pan
Don Chappell
Where can I order a new spline shaft and overdrive hub?
+Josh Mosquea look in our description we have a link to whatever it takes transmission WIT
great video
+Timpriss Fort cheap fix
My husbands hyundai is a 2001 with a issue with the clutch popping outta gear in 4th and am lost as to why
A lot of times that's the synchronizers in the transmission that cause that I'll get it checked out but usually that's what it is
good video...i'm showing the same code P0734 on my 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS, are the year of your Accent and mine has the same transmission design and will it be the same procedure as you did yours? is the Kit #42220LK mention the same for the 2003 Elantra GLS if not do you know what the exact name & Kit number i should get? thanks for the info and great video.
Can you please give me the name of the book because I got the same code for my car p0734 but I can't find the part number to order it I have a 06 Ford Fusion
First of all awesome video very helpful and informative very detailed !!! Thank you for taking the time and doing it !!!!!! I am thinking of doing this but I do have a question and am hoping you might be able to help. I have a 2000 Elantra gls wagon, and am getting the p1624, p0733 and p0734 codes do you think this might be able to help? I have recently replaced the output shaft seal because it was leaking pretty bad. When doing so it was destroyed it came out in 3 pieces (totally blown out) Once I did that the leak stopped and it wasn't leaking for long before replacing it . But now the car seems to not want to shift passed 2nd gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance
yep the spline was in backwards now all is good
Kraig Le Fevre Thats awesome to hear man!! Glad that the repair went well for you and if you ever have a problem, just let me know. I'm happy to help.
Thanks friends, i,m from Brazil and your vídeo help me! forgive my inglish, kkkk
$30 for shipping is a no go for a $30 kit from 'Whatever it takes'. Purchased from Ebay for $31.00 free shipping 7 day delivery.
I dont know if my transmission is bad. Oil is black doesnt smell like burnt and it was slipping but now if i drive for awhile it will stop driving but the RPM raises up when pressing gas. What can it be??
+Imareliss Lopez do you chave a check engine light ?
+JamieJones TheCarMan Yes
I can't get to the gear because the play is hitting in the frame and and manipulating the engine is not working and we took both engine mounts off on both sides, the video is useful but for my 2010 it is not working
i need this kit!! anyone have a link to were i can order please
Moses Gross Good Morning, Moses. Absolutely, you can purchase the kit from Whatever It Takes Transmission. Their website link is: www.wittrans.com and its Kit #42220LK. If you need to contact them by phone, their number is: (877)634-5699.
JamieJones TheCarMan is that kit all i need part wise to fix this issue?
didnt help my car at all and i had that code and had it put on by a pro shop didnt work
I still need to pull codes, but mine also has no reverse. Is that related? or something more than this fix?
bad sun gear
my transmission only goes into limp mode when the temp gauge reaches normal operating temperature, same trouble code 0734. 2003 Hyundai accent
+Curtis Francis is your overdrive.
JamieJones TheCarMan my overdrive seems to come on and off normal, the problem I'm having with my 2003 Hyundai accent is that when the car reaches normal operating
Temperature it goes into limp mode, driving on the highway the car would Stick in 3rd gear and when stopping and pulling off again it stays in 3rd until the car cools off. Can someone help ? I changed tps sensor, coolant temp sensor, isa, Pulse generators, speed sensor, and still the same prob.....
Way back when, I used to work on these at a dealer. I saw a fair amount of problems with transmission temp sensors that would cause a limp mode condition. If you have a scan tool that can access transmission data, compare the trans temp to an actual reading of the fluid temp. Being that this is three months old now, post the fix if you already found one!
and does any body know where i can find a step by step on how to fix the same code P0734 on 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS
Thank you so much Mark mangano dependable auto wartburg tennessee
Hello!
First off, thank you very much for this greatly informative video!
unfortunately I am unable to find this 42220lk Kit both on the 'Whatever it takes transmission' website and the greater portions of the internet. Any information or links would be more than helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Its on ebay too
I can't get a hold of anyone at WIT, i called 5 times and left a message but no luck. Does anyone know if they are still in business or another place to get the repair kit?
Thanks!
Good job
thanks
I did this tutorial but the code still appears, it seems the car makes the changes correctly , Someone explain to me!
Will this kit work for a 2006 hyundai with the 3.3l v6
Wondering the same thing.
Im searching the part number you show on the video its bot showing on ebay
Whatever it takes Transmissions where I get it from so I don't know the cross reference number to anything else other than what I got but whatever it takes Transmissions might be able to give you a different number
WIT appears to be out of stock on that kit and I can't find it anywhere else.
+simpleseajay did you call them , also ebay
+JamieJones TheCarMan , I didn't mainly because it was a Sunday night. I put my order in with fingers crossed. Their website is not super user-friendly. I sent them an email to ask about the order. Haven't got a response other than the order confirmation. No notes about it being out of stock or back-ordered even though their site showed an in-stock quantity of zero. I really need to know when I can expect to receive the parts so I can plan the repair. My wife is only driving the car around town to work and back for the time being, but I'm not really too sure that's a good idea. I told her to turn OD off and if she needs to take the highway somewhere she can take my car.
+JamieJones TheCarMan . Oh and BTW, this is an 04 Accent, only showing P0734 code after my wife told me OD didn't seem like it was working, RPMs around 5500 on the highway coming back from her mom's for the weekend. Pretty sure this is the fix I need, super glad I don't have to pull the transmission. I just had to put a new head gasket on my car a couple months ago due to a water pump failure. So tired of fixing cars, very relieved to find this may not be too bad.
+simpleseajay they are usually pretty fast, most likely your problem but you will know as soon as you open it up good luck need any help let me know
+JamieJones TheCarMan . Ya, first thing I'll do is drop the pan and check for shredded bearing parts, but once I get there I'm into a full oil change anyways, so might as well be prepared either way.. Hope I don't need any of the extra parts not included with the kit. The wife can't be without a car for too long. I'll let you know how it goes.
