As an American, I'd love a comparison video breaking down the differences between Wrexham and the other Welsh clubs/towns. The documentary throws out a few names, but never explores South Wales. Tir dieithr. 🏴
Well done Liam on another excellent presentation. In terms of Wrexham's increased media exposure I read the EFL coverage report after the Birmingham game where nearly 30,000 also watched the TV coverage. So in essence like you said this equates too or even betters many Premiership clubs. I do have great concerns about the standing issues though and if not correctly managed could have serious consequences for improved attendances.

Aa a person across the pond, we have very strong attachments to clubs. What appeals to me is that both Rob and Ryan brought their own passions into the story. I do not think they initially knew what they were investing in, but it soon became apparent that the team was the bonus into investing in the town. Rob had the idea, so he deserves credit, but many people have dreams that never come true. Ryan made the dream come true by working equally with Rob. Both men are a blessing to Wrexham, but also the world. Millions of people did not know anything about football or Wrexham until the documentary hit the airwaves.
which way? are you asking people in Wales or people In North America? I have learned from Liam that historically Chester is their biggest mortal enemy.
In America, unless you grew up loving “soccer” (like I did) most people don’t have a favorite club, nor a rival. However, if you’re asking about any other sport-holy hell do we go insane when it comes to a Derby (only we don’t call it that, probably because Derby generally refers to The Kentucky Derby horse race). What Rob has done for Wrexham is only rivaled by what he’s done for this incredible sport in America. I’m so grateful for Rob, Ryan and Wrexham for inspiring so much interest and love for football/soccer-the best sport of all time. For the last 40 years of my life I’ve listened to people trash footy, saying nothing happens, the scores are too low and it “can’t be that hard to kick a ball.” It’s been so refreshing to see that opinion change and watch people discover the beauty of football. And all this goodness is hugely due to Wrexham’s charm. Up the town!
