James Spader is one of my favorite actors. He’s so funny in a dry and poignant way. He’s a gem.
Blacklist was made for this actor.... I dont get addicted to tv series anymore. All the same. But Blacklist is one Im really gonna miss

James Spader can play any part. Brought in to save The Practice Emmy. This led to Boston Legal 2 Emmys. Initially one episode of The Office leading to a series because he was so good. Watch his films. He's the best. Everything he is in turns to gold. Brilliant brilliant actor.
I loved him in Boston Legal. Amazing. Him and William Shatner. I have a huge crush on him.
It's funny how James Spader has become more and more Shatneresque in his cadence and mannerisms as he grows older.

Along came a Spader and made the Stargate function. Then the alien king posing as RA showed up and Kurt Russell was tasked with ending him, but he couldn't do it without James Spader. Just think, this guy saved us all from abject slavery. Been a long time since I saw that movie. I stopped watching The Blacklist a couple years ago, after my Netflix got hacked and I deleted the account. So Raymond Reddington is actually a Russian? Red is really a Red? Huh.

Yeah it started off super strong and then...became convoluted, distracting, etc. a shame bc I really enjoy Spader's acting
the ego of the "Liz" character is the main antagonist of the last few seasons.
Mid season 3 is the perfect place to stop, honestly. Almost everything after that is trash.
This guy somehow has negative charisma. I don't know what it is. I think he's a nice enough dude in his heart; but watching him just takes energy

I think it depends on if he’s interested in the interview. Sometimes he seems bored and boring and other times he seems excited and animated.
I actually tend to watch his interviews when I want to cheer up after I had a bad day. He is so much not trying to please or impress or promote himself and yet he is so interesting and fun that it feels to me refreshing and calming.
