Yep. Agenda 21 is alive and strong. The government doesn't want a solution found. They couldn't allow these ppl to help themselves. That's the point of closing the community.
You know I’ve never seen something more wonderful for the homeless in my life. The freedom of the out doors. The get together in the large tent. They weren’t bothering anybody. I pray they found shelter 🙏❤️
What an absolute disgrace to remove these people from the camp, they respected each other had a community.Looked after the camp environment and the nature around it.Were totally civilized only to end up on dirty streets and cold alley ways. Shame on the state and the authority's for allowing this to happen. There should be more camps like this. Any one of us could end up in this position. How are people suppose to get on in life if they cant even have the basic right to live!! Shame on the government too.
mark farley This "state" that Americans are in was planned. The gov't & its special interests deliberately set things up so Americans will be reduced to a "third world" status. They did not 'let' it happen, they planned it to happen. This is not a "theory." I have been, along with millions of others, been watching it go down for a couple decades now. We all are seeing it, but so many Americans don't want to know what it means nor the why of it, nor where it ends up. Apathy is rampant in America, & it is costing us all. those who want to bury their head in the sand, & think the next person "elected" will straighten all this out. BS magical thinking, wishful thinking. Lots of people say the gov't would not do this. That's because their heads are focused on the TV,& never on the world around them, even when it is their own fellow citizens who are sounding the alarm. Many people are under the delusion that our gov't will let them know all we need to know, & don't want to think that our gov't tells us only what They need for us to know. Therein lies a big difference between the two. People think our gov't will come around to help sooner or later. That is exactly the attitude the gov't cultivates. It of course, will do no such thing, except to herd us where it wants us, & it is doing exactly that right now. Homelessness is no accident or "sign of the times." It is part of a careful plan. The New World Order dictatorship is moving along nicely.
mark farley you (leave) them in the camps you create more social misery, people need this to move up with their lives, believe me the world need a little kick in the ass!rehab is the key,not making ghettos...
Ya, the world needs a giant kick in the butt to get going with tax financed government welfare. Welfare is the key here, not fantasies about everyone getting a rent paying job in the capitalist economic system, which is a system impossibility.
None of us are ever too far from being in the same situation. I never look down on anybody for anything. I just thank God every day for what I have today.
Absolutely right. Life rips the rug out from underneath you sometimes, without provocation or warning, and suddenly you are without your basic needs. People are so quick to judge but fail to realize that it can happen to anyone, regardless of race, sex, or financial stability. Mental illness and addiction (sometimes both happening simultaneously) run rampant in these communities. The world needs more people like you who operate with empathy and love. Thanks for your thoughts. It reassures me that there are other individuals like you and I out there. Cheers friend.
It's so shameful for them to throw them out. All the government needed to do was monitor them. They created a beautiful self governing community. Now, they are scattered and alone. This country can find weapons for war but not for the homeless. It's shameful.
I want to hug and kiss every person who takes time and money out of their lives to help the homeless. It gives me hope that i will be ok one day. Love & Light
You have empathy, and love in your heart and sole. I’m right there with you. I would be right there with the unhoused if I didn’t have my parents. They threaten to throw me out all the time. If I don’t obey what they want, I have slept outside in the cold to see what they feel, and they are strong. I was told don’t give ppl money who are unhoused. I pass out safe supplies, money, cards whatever I can afford and get for free from Harm Reduction, and pass the supplies out to everyone who needs them. Some ppl label unhoused ppl, and it could be anyone of us, never say never is what I say. I will be praying for you, Praying that you will be ok, 🙏🏽🩵💫🫂
The reason it's difficult for them to find a place to stay is not because the city officials wouldn't allow them, it's because all the land has owners. The owners don't like people being on their land that they payed for.
Carly Fournier - They can provide a solution for themselves. No one is providing solutions for me, or the majority of the rest of society. And there's a big difference between providing housing food clothing Medical Care transportation, which just enables them, and getting at the Crux of the problem which is drugs. Until you stop the supply of drugs and this liberal mindset of providing everything for people who can provide for themselves if they actually had to, the inner cities are going to continue to become 4th World Shitholes. You do realize don't you, that when you just give things to people instead of having them earn their way, that it is negative. How could anyone possibly have any self-esteem if they were not pulling their weight. ? Oh I get it. They are so f****** high on dope they don't need self esteem. They just need more handouts at the rest of society's expense. smh
To the nasty man writing to get them evicted..if you or anyone who sighned that paper are reading this do you feel good?Did you.eat today and have a hot shower? Your heart or lack of makes me sick.
MsKerryanne....There always has to be some arrogant idiot to point out someone's typo! So you don't make typos or even spelling mistakes? Why do you feel the need to correct someone ...trying to embarrass them? Trying to put them down, so you can somehow feel a little better about yourself ? It doesn't work....So get down off your hi...ooops....I mean high horse....and leave people alone ....Be kind made a GREAT point.....Yours was useless
Hi. From some videos I've seen its also illegal to feed or give money or almost any assistance to the homless or any other human in desperate need these days. Now whats that s**t all about?. We are spozed to be helpfull with our brothers & sisters of the world. Not get in trouble for trying to help another human being. The governments of the world need destroying instaid of them hiding & living it up in their ivory Towers protected from the General public.
This isn't about people from other countries. It isn't like our government is taking money from homeless support programs and are giving it to assist people to relocate in the US. This is the result of capitalism and privatization of mental health care, substance abuse treatment, the habitual criminalization of poverty, and the "I got mine, go get your own" mentality of our citizens. Microloans, sponsorship, and financial support of local organizations is the best way to help...because I am sure after making such an ugly post you are more than ready to HELP, right?
or what about the ecorse road underpass on 94 they could fix that and bet the tent city folks wld chip in the work for a living wage. o wait mdot would rather kick dem out
And just let EVERYONE in? That's easy for you to say now , but when you are paying for all the illegals , and the crime rate has sky rocketed more , due to MS13 members coming in , you will think differently. If we allow ALL into our country , we will end up over populated like China. Look at them! We need to help our own homeless AND build a wall!
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I love any tips you can offer me.
There should be a free, self governing, no questions asked, public camp for anyone who wishes to stay there regardless of income or circumstances. A person's reasons for being there should be a private matter. The camp should have adequate toilets, showers, trash pick-up and a heated, safe, community structure where people can sleep when the weather is dangerously cold. It should be supported by donations and whatever the campers can provide for themselves. It should have accessible public transportation. It should be enlarged to the capacity needed. There should be such a camp in every part of the country where five or more people request one.
I ask one thing....your view is odd to me..in the fact that I have been there...and u do believe that life doesn't have to be as complicated as we make it...your point made caused me to relate...busbee48@gmail.com...your deeper thought are requested.. respond
Most people who live in a house are barely making it as it is. Sounds like another well intended drain on everyone else. I would encourage all bleeding heart, self=appointed "caring folks" to actually volunteer for helping the homeless. More than HALF of them are fine with their "laid back life of sloth and the insignificant footprint left on this planet. I was raised and taught that EVERY person alive has a duty to the world they live in to do what they can to make it a better place. That's the opposite of selfishness. Show me an addict, I'll show you a selfish person. It's that simple, and buying them things and coddling them only steepens the slope to hell for them. Folks who feel pity for these people are mostly ignorant of the lifestyles they have and their preference to remain as they are.....until they shoot up that one last time and leave this world. You can believe what the media portrays the people as, or you can actually go hang out with them a couple of days and nights, and quickly see thru the bullshit.
@Jerry Rose if believing people should get off the dope and get their act together, you'd be right. judging from your reply, you need to read my comment again.
What a good man "I couldn't drive by there knowing that people were cold" Man! It's really awesome seeing someone actually care for his fellow man.... that is so rare these days, God Bless All of you!
I agree with "help US Citizens first"...as in Stop sending any money for any reason to any foreign country until every US citizen has a home (even bare bones basic)…..I don't care if it is Tent Cities maintained by Government employees with strict rules..... I hate that we send billions of US taxpayer dollars to other countries for all types of aid, yet allow our mentally ill and homeless to rot on the streets....and even harass them there.
@@lindabass7871 i agree, why not use abandon buildings that no one wants, like old schools or old hotels , fix them up so they are livable with running water and utilities, no one should be homeless, nothing upsets me more than arrogant asshats like alex saying its bad choices that lead them to this, no its the greedy of this country that has caused this problem. especially corp. greed, a minimum crap wage for almost 20 years with out a real cost of living wage , didnt help. where minimum wage went up extremely slow while everything else sky rocketed , that is what caused the down fall of most
@@pennywagner1608 You´re right. I´m from another continent and I realize that it is the same all over the world. There are many abandoned buildings in every cities, but homeless people have to pass the night in hostels. And, during the day, they are in the streets. Solutions for housing are not too difficult. We only need to have the strength to require the authorities once, and then, again, and again, and again...but life is difficult, and we, people of the world, are not organized, because, as we have a job, and a house, or a flat, and TV, and a car, and....we don´t care for homeless people. We are also guilty, all of us.
I truely would if i could. But as im skint because i cant work because of my disability i dont have much money coming in. So I can't sadley. But i often think if i had the land i would welcome the homless onto it & provide as many tents as i could so thay could have somwhere to live in peace. But its always the case the ones of us who don't have much are always the ones who are 1st to try & help the less fortunate out. Its very very rare to see or hear of a money loaded person offering any sort of help to anybody beneath them. They prefer to stay on top and leave the poor lowdown so them ritch shits have someting to stand on to be higher than the rest of us. Jim... 2019.
You know I was thinking the same thing, but different. I was thinking about buy a plot of land in the Midwestern part of the us with a stream and forest and good farming land. That way I can settle down and live close to nature. And anyone who are willing to work and abide to the rules can stay there too. Haha but one thing stands in the way, money. So as of now I'm working to build a business to create a cash flow so I could do that. Of course it's for me and my own selfish reasons, but anyone who obeys the rules can stay. Lol it's a kids dream.
Amen Sir ! We all need to help the homeless as they all had mothers , fathers, and maybe a married life with kids, but maybe not a good life , such as being in a abusive relation ship, or living with an alcoholic or drug addict, ect. ect. It could happen to anyone of us , I know as I used to love to play the slots so much that I got in debt , so then I sold my home to pay the debt , yet what money was left I gambled away . Later I managed a rental place for apartments and stole money from the owners , saying that some apartments were empty , when in reality I had rented them and took the money to gamble . Yep you got it , I ended up in jail. We all have our own demons , so who are we to judge . Just someone that felt like us , would actually win a BIG LOTTO , and put their words to do good. God Bless all that had time to read this nobody's say on this matter. :):):):)
I'm so sick of our society and as George carlin said "Americans that are nimby" not in my backyard! Are you kidding me they aren't hurting anyone being in that camp. It's pathetic the turn our nation is taking.
I'm so grateful that this story has been told & I was able to see the beauty of people helping people. This example is a potential blueprint of an alternative to traditional shelter models. Just because people are troubled shouldn't mean they are sentenced to the death of nothingness. Thank you very much.
It's not how most people "act" in person though. It's easy to be an asshole online, with basic impunity, especially among the younger folks who are a lot more pumped than us older stoved up ones.
This was a wonderful documentary on the homeless. It truly showed the love they had for each and every one, such a shame they got evicted even tho, there were no major trouble to the the environment nor owners of properties... Shame on the government.. Shame!!
I am so sorry to see homeless people have to live this way I often said that if I ever won a big lottery that I would help the homeless. This person should be ashamed of himself for complaining to authority about them maybe one day he might be in the same situation. They need a place that they can sit up camp instead of putting them on the streets to have to find a place to sleep. These people are human beings and need the same respect that you would want.. we are all Gods children. I pray that they find another place that they can call home again.
Sounds great...to win the lottery and help the homeless. But u would be surprised how much u can make a difference by a SMILE or a KIND WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT. Simply making some pb/ j sandwiches, or giving a bottle of water. U can make a difference right now. More importantly TEACH the children to RESPECT all walks of life. GOD knows ALL. NO ONE IS EXEMPT FROM HARD TIMES. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I hope you consider a random act of kindness...IT'S PRICELESS!
I went to Montana to work. I became unable to work and after the savings run out I became homeless. Thank God I finally got my disability and pension. I was one of the lucky ones. Many of these people have nothing. No pensions no nothing. My heart goes out to them.
Of course not - authorities are a bunch of greedy people who want to better their own lives (via our taxes), not give their riches away to people who can't give anything back to them
I am so glad I didn't go to U.S.A to live, I hate to see so much homeless people, the government is so EVIL, They can build even wood houses for most of these people but choose to spend millions on space projects and other projects like CERN, it makes me so ANGRY I wish I could do something to change this EVIL world 🤔😤😫❤😇
@Lily Slipcast WOW, empty houses and so much HOMELESS PEOPLE, what can we do to change things WITHOUT these EVIL politicians, at present we can't even agree together as humun beings , WHAT'S HAPPENING TO US 🤔😫❤😇
Probably the best documentary I've seen dealing with homelessness, by far. It is down to earth, with interviews of real people. It is not just about the physical site, but about the people who make up the camp. Issues are presented in an honest and frank manner. I don't think it could be more balanced. This video does a great job analyzing the forces at work in running the camp, as well as addressing the opposition to the camp.
If a homeless person rejects living in conformity with the flawed beaurocracy placed to care for the homeless population, it should be their right. Such beaurocracies are usually mapped out by indifferent politicians who could care less. Give these folks their woods.
it seems to me that these people made a alternative community, that seemed to be working. the powers that be do not like that ! hence the shut down. based on this video, the camp appeared to be clean and well ran. rather than put up a fence. it seems to me, that the state could have used that money to bring water and latrine facilities to that area ? it appears to be a crime to be poor and destitute in the U.S.A. . we bring in these refugees and set them up, while our own suffer.
It's the same in the UK. They arrest the homeless if they are seen. The PM made it illegal to be homeless and yet they,( g*o*v) are throwing the poor out of social housing on to the streets basically to die, yet another way to depopulate. If you're homeless in the UK you don't get welfare benefits, civil servants see you as the walking dead.
Yeh I'm woulndering that too & also how many have now pastaway god bless them ...All of them. I hope everyone of them scummy selfe centered s**t'heads that helped to have them poor soles moved on have suffed in some really bad way or other. Just so they also get to understand what its like living a hellish life. Godbless the poor the downtroden the homeles and the unwell. Jim...2019.
Nannett Mortenson Do research, travel and meet people who have different stories then yourself . stop listening to mommy and daddy’s selfish ignorant teachings that their ignorant parents taught them. THINK FOR YOURSELF. COME TALK TO US WHEN U GROW UP AND STOP THIS ME ME ME ME LIFE U LIVE 🤫🤫
It just goes to show, it not drug addicts and drunks who are homeless. I'm homeless because of medical reasons yet i have to fight tooth and nail to get help. Luckily i have a car to live in. But its just as bad. God Bless those who help.
i'm right there behind ya..... unemployment just ran out, still no job.... savings are gone..... using a credit card now..... rent is going up next month..... at least my car is paid for....
It was heartwarming to see the churches come together to help make the community work so well. The government official, who made the eviction decision, ought to feel shame and guilt for the rest of their life... and that's my wish for that person.
I'm 44. When I was 22 I wanted to know what being homeless was like. I was fresh out of the Navy and wanted to travel for a year before reentering the workforce. I was educated, had a little money, just spent 4 great years on the sea, single... free. But I was desperate for adventure, more education. Not the type my GI Bill would provide and not the type you get sitting in class. I decided to sell or give away most of my possessions and begin a homeless trek westward as an experiment, or better yet an experience. Within 1 week of my drastic decision, I left Va with nothing more than a backpack, $400 cash and my wits. I rented a storage unit in Va for 18 months prepaid just to store extremely important documents, photos, and small belongings. I locked it up and told no one of its location or that I was disappearing for an undetermined amount of time. I boarded a bus and headed for California. It was the mid 90's and it was the destination for despot hobos back then. My goal was to document a full year of living homeless, and joining a homeless community. I spent the first week under a bridge living close to 3 other wanderers. I learned very quickly what I still believe is true today. Being homeless for MOST people is a choice based on a lack of drive and motivation. Period. I met terrific people. I met horrible people. Most of the people I met along the way were addicted to one substance or another. Their lack of motivation was usually a huge factor in becoming addicts, and once you're an addict, there's very little hope of ever regaining that motivation, especially when you're broke and homeless. The cycle keeps these people "lost". During that first week I tried to fit in as much as possible. I even experimented with various drugs (no needles, though). I quickly became bored with the lazy pace and lack of ambition. I tried to tell myself that I am still too fresh, that some of these people had given up on life. 6 weeks in and I was starting to feel truly homeless. Scruffy, not so clean, tired looking, a shoulder injury. I helped others collect cans and bottles, scrap metal and tires. Monotonous and very little reward. Surely that had to be another way of making money (without getting a legit job, of course). I stuck with it, vowed not to break down and get a real job or return to Va. Any given day I had less than $1 in change in my pocket. My initial 400 was gone within the first 2 weeks. I laid awake one night listening to some others talking in a tent nearby. They wanted to rob tourists in Santa Monica. I knew it was time for me to move on to a new community. Before the sun came up, I packed my bag and left the bridge. On my way out I met a young girl, 19, who also wanted to leave. So, we left together. She, for other reasons. Tanya said she was sick of the lazy, shameful act of panhandling freeway exits. If you had 8 hours to sit there and hold a sign, surely you had 8 hours to walk around and look for some type of work. I agreed. I was finding it impossible to be in big cities and NOT stumble into a job. Seriously. People offered me a job several times every week. But I was determined to finish a full year. I came up with an odd way to earn money. Good money, fast. I was situated in a suburb of LA and surrounded by golf courses. During my many shortcuts through the woods I would find dozens of random golf balls strewn about the ground. As a golfer myself I saw the value in these balls. I began collecting golf balls and cleaning them. A few dozen at first, then hundreds, then thousands. I developed a system for locating balls at night in the woods and marshes next to particular golf course fairways. I'd hustle a few dozen here and there, to golf course pro shops, print ads (yes, before Craigslist), flea markets, etc. It started slowly. $15/day then $50/day then more than I could handle alone. Soon, I had to upgrade my shelter to accommodate the added gear for cleaning and sorting golf balls. Then, there was the whole "keeping it secret because I didn't want thieves to steal my product" thing. Being homeless was starting to slow me down. I'm 10 months in and I have over $9000 from 3 months of "balling". Mind you, I had no "bills". 2 months to go. But I caved and rented a safe deposit box for my cash. Tanya helped me a great deal and I paid her very well. In fact, within a few weeks she had enough to buy a van and finally leave. But not before she wrecked my experience. One day I returned from the hardware store, buying cleaning products and 2 more large tubs. Walking through this secret part of the woods to my little camp, I noticed pieces of my home scattered about everywhere. All was destroyed or stolen. Everything. I started over at a new location. After 14 months I packed up and headed back home with a sizable little stash and a business idea. Today, after decades of working corporate management, I have returned to golf balling. Only this time with a license, contracts, insurance, taxes and space to work in. For 4 years I've been doing this and now make more annually than I ever did working for someone else. But it all started while being homeless and penniless. I couldn't fathom the idea of sitting around waiting for someone to give me a handout. Or spending hours laying around in a tent, or at intersections with a sign. Some homeless are truly incapable of helping themselves and/or have ended up this way due to no fault of their own. BUT a majority of them are simply lazy. Able-bodied physically + mentally = no excuses! There's always a way.
Jason I'm in totally agreement my journey as a single mom for 20 years working 3 jobs and I am not saying this to make ANYONE feel sorry for me. I am so blessed to have the drive and not make excuses as to not make these youtube videos saying "I" a million times. Everyone has a story. Well, learning a long time ago, no one cares about your story at all. Unless you have done great things. my job is working with homeless, mentally ill and abused victims and I can tell you 85% is so intitled and looking for something for NOTHING!!! If I was a home.owner and your camp was 50 feet from my property line I would bring in a bulldozer. All my life of paying for my 30 year homeloan to let you take my property value down is displaying no reguards to anyone but yourself. I sure did notice all the people without teeth though mmmm look like a duck and walks like a duck. I have compassion but it goes to the ones that are truly mentally ill that dont do drugs and dont pray on others kindness. There are jobs get off your butt and go get them!!!!
Wow, those homeless are far more civil then the homeless we have in California. It's a whole other ball of wax here. The fact that they self governed and tried to keep things tidy and out of sight. They are angels comparatively.
See, these camps can work as long as they are kept clean and rules are enforced. Many homeless encampments do not have such rules in place and are very dangerous. What would be better is if they were given resources to improve their lives.
Got to love them I have been close to homeless it,s OK if your rich and a drunk, or abuse drugs you,ll be someones idol, go figure. But God for bide you loose a job, or divorce or what ever brings you a place like this. Why is man so unkind to those without? Don,t we all deserve at least a place to lay our heads, be warm, fed? Shame on all of us for our unwillingness to help all people in need.
Dawn... good comment...but not everyone is unwilling to help...even if its just in small ways.... if we all helped even in small ways..it would make a difference... I have a kind neighbor who lets a homeless man have a weekly shower in his studio apt..... Hes struggling himself..... He cant afford to support him....but just the shower is such a help to a homeless man....also shows someone cares and shows dignity and respect
Well in the paleolithic they lived in small semimobile hunting and gathering bands at quite low population densities. In the neolithic anout 10,000 years ago more permanent settlements and farming started to filter in. The difference is that now all land is claimed by property rights and there is no legal place to just set up a community for those on the margins. Yes you can probably set up a camp by yourself or maybe a couple more people but once it starts to grow enough to be noticeable the city or town will jump in and disband it. Keep in mind also that life expectancy in the paleolithic was maybe 43.
+Steve Shea I set up a place to stay but, I never told anyone where and I never left any signs that I was there. IT worked out as I had a job, saved my money and found a place to rent out. Others can do the same if they put their minds to it! GET OFF the drugs/alcohol and make contacts with people who will give you work! Save your money for a while and for a better future.
Me I've been on the streets of NYC Philadelphia and Newark N J I am now clean 5 years I have good job and God in my life keeps me where I'm at. And never forget where you've came from . All you people still out there my prayers are with you all.
God, keep us all in mind. Don't forget the lone wolves, road warriors, those who call themselves emo.... & those of us who can't seem to find the way home...
They have no were to go but yet they still know they have to fight to live in horrible conditions. Are government needs adjustments. These people with vouchers in hand still can not find landlords, each and everyone should have had a place preauthorize before they were again made permanently homeless; this is negligence and abuse of power at it's finest
agree completely on the relocation before removal... but i wouldnt of left. what they gonna do lock u up? free heat water sewer electric internet usage etc etc etc
Face life as you would death, forget about pride, forget about face, forget about name. Forget about what people will think of you. Forget about the separation of those who are better and those who are not. Forget about what society have bestowed upon you as good and bad. Listen to the Lord, he speaks through your heart. Return to the nature of peace and harmony, and help out the people around you. Hahaha I think I might go find a camp like this and live in it for a while, just to learn some personal discipline. If we don't know emptiness how will we know when we are full.
The only solution to solve the problem of the homeless is .A simple law from the government takes 1% of the profit of every shop, restaurant, cafeteria or company in all states of USA and build small houses from wood and help the homeless and to see what they need . it will be more then enough .
Kevin Town and MecheleInAlambama couldn't have said it better. Amazing how much of our money goes into funding crap we don't need especially when it comes to wars but never to help people who are their lowest in life. I've been there myself and it's funny how most Americans think it will never happen to them unless they were hooked on drugs or alcohol. Be prepared. It can happen to anyone no matter how hard or well you do in life.
I have so much respect and love for these people. I was homeless on and off for 8 years. I have an apartment now. Those who have the love of our Lord Jesus Christ will always be okay. All we need is Christ. Everything comes from the center of our heart; God sees all.
That was 2012. It would sure be interesting to see a documentary on how they are doing now.It is sad how heartless some people are to people who are struggling. However, it was uplifting to see the many who helped.
Let me understand this: We are the richest country in the world. We can provide shelters for millions of people around the world in catastrophic events: Philippine, Syria.. We also can pay hundred of billions of dollars to rebuild Iraq, Afghanistan. We contribute billions more to shelter animals that were abandoned by their owners. But WE CAN'T HELP OUR FELLOW AMERICAN? Yes, they had issues at beginning with. Yes, they are addicts. Yes they are ex-con. But YES THEY ARE HUMAN BEING. Now what you do better? You evicted them? They dispersed all around your neighbor too. They have to sleep on the concrete and expose to the elements. They are many thousands and still growing around this country BUT we can't solve this problem??? We can help illegal immigrants. We have law to let them go to school and pay at in state fees, take care of them when they are sick. BUT WE CAN'T HELP LESS THAN A MILLION HOMELESS AMERICAN.
Capitalism does not allow you to stop. You must walk until you die. - There are many reasons for homelessness but at the root of all of it will also be abuse. Many people are abused and never get psychological help. That kind of help works part of the time. But, we really are our brothers keeper--capitalism doesn’t allow that. Only long distance. Or war for profit interests the powers that be. It’s all appearances; and the increase in people who can’t function is no coincidence..... God is testing us....and we are failing miserably.
Voice9 The powers that be, do not want to help Americans period! Read agenda 21 and people like gates and how they want to depopulate our country-and the world--much written on this--please do your research-it gets worse
Welp that about somes it up so true !. Evil wicked and corrupted and if your not one of them as a officer told me well they just dont want you around them...
***** we will always have a home for them in Oregon if they can find a way to get here we will be happy to find a new place where they can stay for "take notice"
keep the dame thing a secretwhat iswrong with that ask if they get mail at someones house they are not on welfare the chuch was helping them rigth dont let
god bless the people who help the homeless may god give you the blessing to yourselves and the gratitude of your just work thank you for showing me that there is hope in America for the strong and thous in need thank you god bless you all we should have a pool where we can provide a community for thous in need I would give gladly to such a cause
That beautiful comment at the end. I miss camp I had a home. That really got to my heart. I wish someone would have donated the Residents of camp Take Notice the use of a plot of land. That just seems so unfair. Everyone being mean spirited toward the homeless campers. People have to live somewhere. What if the mean spirited people who protested enough to get the campers run off. That previously unused piece of land. That the state gave permission for the campers to use. Had of minded their own business??? Were homeless themselves??? I doubt they would appreciate being run off. Not in my back yard!!! These are human beings Are the protesters telling. People they don't have a right to exist??? They can't camp on a piece of God's green earth??? Those against the camp that was out of the way unseen. Providing shelter and a safe place to sleep at night. And fairly well organized. With a life saving wood stove. Have let their hearts grow so hard?? That a human being has no right to rest their head anywhere??? These against the homeless who weren't bothering anyone. Please let a person regroup and catch their breath. The protesters Need to get on their Knees and ask God for forgiveness. And actually mean it. For their souls sake. That's sad the campers have a right to life. That camp was cool People tripping on power!!! That's a true shame. Wow!!!
I would like to say that i am a grown man....but im crying like a baby because i am so ashame of this country for leting our people get like this....i will pray for these.people always...i love all of u...god bless u
Anyone who feels we should allow illegal immigrants to invade our country - 100,000+ in April 2019, we should feed them, provide housing, food, medical care - etc. should WATCH THIS VIDEO! Hell yeah. Immigrants need to go. Drury, that's an English name isn't it? I'm sure your family's going to be glad to see you back home. Unless you somehow attained indigenous status along the way. Bon voyage!

government should definitely allow homeless camps on pieces of land to help out the homeless. if they are worried about crime allow police checks and small searches once a week.
@@tonyrigo9096 is the only one in this comment section that gets it. If the govt allowed people to live in tents then they would et a lot less property taxes. It's all about taxation. But you have to realize that less taxes leans less welfare, too. So it's a double-edged sword.
my heart goes out to the homeless it breaks my heart everytime i see them i pray for them every day that god will hear them and take care of there needs if i had the money to buy some land i would donate it to the home less may god bless them and protect them i live in the state of california and it really sucks how the homeless is treated they have hearts like us and deserve the same as us and dont desever to live like they do ill keep praying for them that god will bless them everything
i usto live like this. and i must say they are the most caring individuals i have ever met. maybe it was the most important part of my life. cause alot of people make fun of the homeless and i was that way also. but damn do they take care of you. and the cops are so supportive of this cause theres no crime involved
I remember this they lived right across the street from me . I use to pray all the time and I had no problem with it. I just didn't answer my doors at night .
How ironic is this? Homeless build them themselves a safe place to live, they have helped themselves. Then the government make them homeless again!
yep, thanks government and politicians.!!!!!!
Yep. Agenda 21 is alive and strong. The government doesn't want a solution found. They couldn't allow these ppl to help themselves. That's the point of closing the community.
Yep that's exactly 😢what they do and we start the process to move settle in ect for them to move in again and again sad I know 😊
Build a home and community. Gov't takes it away, but does not replace it with anything.
You got that right 😢😢😢
You know I’ve never seen something more wonderful for the homeless in my life. The freedom of the out doors. The get together in the large tent. They weren’t bothering anybody. I pray they found shelter 🙏❤️
😂😂😂😂😮😮
Good for them it looksclean and they look some while happy god bless them
What an absolute disgrace to remove these people from the camp, they respected each other had a community.Looked after the camp environment and the nature around it.Were totally civilized only to end up on dirty streets and cold alley ways.
This is not a "theory."
I have been, along with millions of others, been watching it go down for a couple decades now.
It is a shame to allow homeless camps to exist. People should have a right to a proper home, paid for by the tax payers.
mark farley you (leave) them in the camps you create more social misery, people need this to move up with their lives, believe me the world need a little kick in the ass!rehab is the key,not making ghettos...
Ya, the world needs a giant kick in the butt to get going with tax financed government welfare. Welfare is the key here, not fantasies about everyone getting a rent paying job in the capitalist economic system, which is a system impossibility.
bertThugh2 - I fully agree with you Ben. I have been researching on this and the Illuminati since 2002.
Exactly
It's so shameful for them to throw them out. All the government needed to do was monitor them. They created a beautiful self governing community. Now, they are scattered and alone. This country can find weapons for war but not for the homeless. It's shameful.
HopeFor.... Indeed
Most city officials don't want to help homeless. If you don't want to help at least don't harm. Leave them alone.
Alice Depaul - why don't you move a bunch of them in with you then? Give them a hug every night.
They just need more handouts at the rest of society's expense. smh
Fuck the homeless

We are not free in this country its illegal to be homeless.......how sad and messed up we are.
Big time .. cops harassing me all the time .. sickening
That man even if he is homeless he never forget his mother ...so much love
DOT spent more money on putting up that fence than if they just would help the homeless find a new place to go.
or fix i94 pot holes?
or what about the ecorse road underpass on 94 they could fix that and bet the tent city folks wld chip in the work for a living wage. o wait mdot would rather kick dem out

Amen.

@Jerry Rose Well saiddddddd…….. You are so so right …..
Anyone at anytime could be in the homeless situation my heart goes out to them
So?
For the grace of God I'm not in that position. My heart is so sore. Wow.Thanks for this video and all the best to everyone from the camps.
Where are they going to go now? Kinda sad. God can make a way.
Does the government ban these camps because they lose the billions of dollars appropriated for the homeless which fatten their pockets? Just asking.
What a good man "I couldn't drive by there knowing that people were cold" Man! It's really awesome seeing someone actually care for his fellow man.... that is so rare these days, God Bless All of you!
I work for homeless people my office is my heart!! Thanks take notice for this!
Please give Americans jobs first! Let them live in all the empty buildings, and help them fixit up!
We are also guilty, all of us.
one man , one dream.. someone buy a piece of land, pay the taxes and then let them live there.
Jim... 2019.
You buy it
You know I was thinking the same thing, but different.
Spoken like a true socialist. Someone "else" should buy land and give it to everyone that needs it. Great, how much money you got Odin Son??
This is amazing. People have their dignity restored! They have SKILLS, and resources to share! I love this.
And this is how we treat a fellow American citizens

Just because people are troubled shouldn't mean they are sentenced to the death of nothingness. Thank you very much.
Heartbreaking. I'm so sick of this world and mans reign.
After reading the comments, it amazes me how people hate and insult each other, no wonder our society is so messed up if this is how people act.
Re-read Grape's of Wrath for answers? Just saying.
Yes LORD !.. Shalom
I just don't believe that authorities cant find a piece of land for the camp. Its just not true.
Of course not - authorities are a bunch of greedy people who want to better their own lives (via our taxes), not give their riches away to people who can't give anything back to them
It's illegal to be homeless in the USA, but I haven't noticed any homeless refugees that have been recently brought to the USA.
They work and put taxes in else they get deported ;) they don't want to come across cops.

Great and very eye- opening video. Sad stories, but I'm glad there are such places like this for the homeless.
It looked like such a welcoming, lovely, clean camp.... I HATE this system.....HATE the corrupt men who run it....

+Ta Price it's a crime to be poor and destitute not only in the USA, but in all countries of the 1st world as well
im with you brother
how much did that chain link fence cost? likley several thousands of dollars and they make the people protesting pay for it with their taxes. crazy.

It was heartwarming to see the churches come together to help make the community work so well. The government official, who made the eviction decision, ought to feel shame and guilt for the rest of their life... and that's my wish for that person.
What was wrong with a camp? Public Policy statute states a person has a right to live and or work.
I never thought I would say I’m sick of my country
same here......
Mine too not better, come so far to find same shyt if not super nuts
The new "American Dream" is to have a cheap motorhome.
or camper.
I have a van.
15 Seconds right!!!
is becoming the dream in every country now.. house boat, house truck, house bus, mobile camper of some sort, even the push bike camper !.
Hope im blessed to have one if i ever become homeless🚌🚌
See, these camps can work as long as they are kept clean and rules are enforced. Many homeless encampments do not have such rules in place and are very dangerous. What would be better is if they were given resources to improve their lives.
amen
Dangerous to whom?
Well, it was hidden until you gave directions and even provided a visual map of it
That just made me cry 7 times like broke my heart man. These are good people this should never happen.
Well said...THANK YOU!
I agree. 👍
Dawn... good comment...but not everyone is unwilling to help...even if its just in small ways.... if we all helped even in small ways..it would make a difference... I have a kind neighbor who lets a homeless man have a weekly shower in his studio apt..... Hes struggling himself..... He cant afford to support him....but just the shower is such a help to a homeless man....also shows someone cares and shows dignity and respect
I was feeling sorry for myself all day long & these people don't have a home. God bless them! I wish I could help them.
I always disliked Romney. Now I can't stand him after hearing hos remark about the poor.
Nice to see there are still compassionate hearts.💖💖
Beautiful humans God bless all of you
Im badly in need of a place like this right now. I’m in southern Oregon and need this.
How did people live for thousands of years? Humans have forgot i guess
N Gods name We pray.....Amen
Love to all the homeless people and to those who help them.xx
They have no were to go but yet they still know they have to fight to live in horrible conditions. Are government needs adjustments. These people with vouchers in hand still can not find landlords, each and everyone should have had a place preauthorize before they were again made permanently homeless; this is negligence and abuse of power at it's finest
agree completely on the relocation before removal... but i wouldnt of left. what they gonna do lock u up? free heat water sewer electric internet usage etc etc etc
GOD IS GREAT! Thank you to all who help the homeless! You will be BLESSED!
SEVEN YEARS AGO?! WHAT HAS BEEN done to improve the lives of these people? I cannot comprehend how people get to this point..
Fees on top of fees, pay fee and tax to pay rent, than the landlord charge late fee and tax, than you just lose it and run away
If we don't know emptiness how will we know when we are full.
sad they were not harming anyone
Yea would have been way better if they were.
Always ask for a receipt when you buy something and keep it on you so you cannot be falsely accused of theft.
Carol Reid Good idea about keeping receipts.
A Great work to open the eyes of Ruthless Society...
Stumbled on this video....well done!
THANKS!
They had an amazing thing going. How much better to feel safe and a part of a group. Seriously. Can't people SEE THAT?
America on its way down!
America is fallen..
Every country has homeless ppl 🤨
😔 sadly true. August 2019
Yup
@marcd you're not old yet. Just wait till you're invisible, expendable, and disposable. Save your money... You'll need it.
Thanks for the update it's a eye opener that this is happening to America's in all cities
There are many reasons for homelessness but at the root of all of it will also be abuse.
Thank you. They have dispersed. Some are trying to create a new camp but neighbors are objecting and city would have to rezone.
w

Why call it homelessness, why not call it alternative living, people need an alternative to the capitalist system.
robert smith Explain
+mark rigsby they had something beutiful and the authorities dont like that, dont like noncomformists
robert smith i get it. they may not have material things but home is where you make it. id upvote you but that still sounds pretty fucking gay.
except they say they don't want it like that, they want homes and just can't find jobs. The authorities consider it not safe
Right ARM... alternative living.
God bless these people!!
That beautiful comment at the end.
I miss camp I had a home.
That really got to my heart.
I wish someone would have donated the
Residents of camp Take Notice
the use of a plot of land.
These are human beings
Are the protesters telling.
The protesters Need to get on their Knees and
ask God for forgiveness.
And actually mean it. For their souls sake.
That's sad the campers
have a right to life.
That camp was cool
People tripping on power!!!
That's a true shame.
Wow!!!
God help us survive this life. Times are bad and I pray more people stand up for what is right. Amen

Thank you the politcians of Michigan and MDOT for having no heart at all. What a true crying shame that an end was put to something this amazing!
"Mike" sounds like a great catch. Way to go Destiny!
Yeah I saw it too. It's not hard to imagine what became of that baby. Hopefully I'm wrong and everything is better. August 2019
Bless yous all love yous all blessings and love to all the homeless ❤️❤️🧡🧡💛💚💚💙💙💙💛❤️
Anyone who feels we should allow illegal immigrants to invade our country - 100,000+ in April 2019, we should feed them, provide housing, food, medical care - etc. should WATCH THIS VIDEO! Everyone pass it on to your friends, co-workers,and family we AMUST take care of our fellow Americans - from infancy thru the elderly! America for Americans!
Hell yeah. Immigrants need to go. Drury, that's an English name isn't it? I'm sure your family's going to be glad to see you back home. Unless you somehow attained indigenous status along the way.
Bon voyage!
God bless there hearts!this could happen to anyone,in 2008 through the recession land surveyor it was no work I lost my home now I know what it feels like to have nothing don't give up do something about it God bless each and everyone of you
@12:45 ,.the woman named Gail,.is digging in trash cans,.making some side money, but gets almost 200 bucks in Food Stamps,..pays low rent,.So y is there a boyfriend with a Construction job sitting there not helping,.Wtf does he do with his income,..Lives off her? ???
praying for you all
government should definitely allow homeless camps on pieces of land to help out the homeless. if they are worried about crime allow police checks and small searches once a week.
The government wants tax dollars that's what the problem is
@@tonyrigo9096 is the only one in this comment section that gets it.
Wow this is the state of America ppl are so heartless.
