I wonder why they never released more songs with this style. An entire album with this sound would be amazing.

Mick did a solo album. Wandering Spirit. It has some of this influence.
They did, it is called Exile on Main Street. The style you seek is driven by open tuning of the guitars (well, at least Keith's, but in this case, Mick's too). Exile was almost all open G tuning, which also accounted for half the tunes on Sticky Fingers. Keef was more open E and D on Let it Bleed and Beggars. Make no mistake, it was open tuning of the Keef's guitar that made the Rolling Stones "The Greatest Rock n Roll Band in the World." And, while it lasted, Mick Taylors bluesy lead guitar work.

The Stones are a blues band who play rock and roll. The older you are in the blues game the more credibility you have. It is one of those rare pop art forms that you can age with.

I just finished watching all the Die Hard movies. Near the end of A Good Day To Die Hard I thought this my second favorite movie in the series. And then this great tune came on at the end credits. Sealed the deal. Great song.

I cannot get enough Mars bars or Rebel Yell. Truly the times may change but The Stones keep rolling. When they stop the whole planet will reel. The end of an age will have come. The reality of it will take a few years until people realize what has gone on. And some of us can say we were there. We saw them live and in color. We saw and heard reality shift. From the innocence of the early 60s to the depredations of the late 80s and the collapse of reason in the new millennium. In a real world they would be the soundtrack of the times. In our flawed and mutant version of reality they are on the sidelines illustrating our path to destruction. For me there will never be a band so on target and so good in their musical interactions that went above and beyond what we expected. The core Jagger, Richards, Watts, Wyman, Jones, Taylor and Wood and Stewart . The support Hopkins, Keyes, Price, Leavell, Jones and Merry Clayton and the London Bach Choir. There can be only one, and The Rolling Stones are that ONE.

I've been a lifelong fan going back to my tater tot days in the 70's. My dad loved them from when he was in high school in the 60's. The Stone's are true rock n' roll survivors, and they just get better and better!

People always say the Stones new stuff sucks, but this song kicks ass.
I agree. I'm not a massive stones fan but this song is my favorite of theirs, however it is the only exception in terms of their recent stuff, all of the other stones songs I listen to are the classics
