Denny, I appreciate your many uploads, and I usually watch them many times. Thanks for your interest in Judith Durham and the Seekers which I love too. This is one I hadn't seen before.
@@johne6081 She was a prodigy since a very young age, singing and playing the piano, and then attended Melbourne Conservatory where she got a degree in classic piano. She also considered becoming an opera singer and in her teens started practicing, but her love for jazz made her start singing professionally and the rest is history.
rick kilgore - I think he meant it as a back handed complement, because no one is perfect. Thus perfection with a frog in it’s throat! I haven’t seen one man ever leave a negative comment about Judith.
@@rickkilgore4758, did you listen to the whole song? Or are you just looking out for opportunities to troll people? She falters on a high note and comments that she has a frog in her throat.
Awesome voice

Judith is a truly great pianist. Watch her Maple Leaf Rag
Great technique, a little fast, and lots of cuts. Listen to Cory Hall or Joshua Rifkin for the perfect tempo.

@@osvaldoschilling9129 One of the musical luminaries and legends of our time.
@@johne6081 Hi. I wonder if you watched Judith playing the Minute Waltz in her BBC special of 1970. Many remarkable renditions in that video.
@@osvaldoschilling9129 Yes, I did. I also remember the joke about "minute" (time unit) vs. "minute" (small). :)
This woman...
When she starts to sing you notice that she was born with a gift and a mission.
So that's what perfection sounds like with a frog in its throat

Did not know Durham was a pianist.
Classicly trained from a young age.
Is there anywhere a better "cleaner" version of this ? The song her voice is perfect, but it is destroyed by the bad video quality.
